It is mid century modern time period, most likely the 50's. The vinyl seat is green and is in good vintage condition with some wear to the corners The chair measures: 16 1/2" wide X 28 1/2" tall X 15 1/2" deep. The chair seat swivels and the chair rolls around on casters. 16" wide x 19" deep x 35-1/2" high overall with a 19" seat height as you see it in the pictures. Looking underneath I can see that you can lower it down about 1-1/2" and you have about 6" total screw extending down below the spinning disk. You should be able to raise it 2 or 3 inches anyway. Seat height would then range between about 17-1/2 and maybe 22" You merely turn the disk to change the seat height. I lowered the seat to the minimum for shipment. The seat back has a black material tacked into place on the sides. I think it's old leather. But for all I know, it could be something else. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Beautiful. I found a few issues which I think are not very noticable. There was a crack in the top of the upright back support timber that I had to glue(the crack extending below the slot was not glued) One nut securing that support was replaced with a more modern one at some point, there is a split in the wood surface on the back of the

This vintage office chair is in good condition and has green vinyl material on the back seat and sides of chair cushion. I believe that the material on the cushion is cotton. There is one small nic in the vinyl. A missing black piece on the bottom where the wheels are and a few light orange spots on the cushion that I have not tried to remove. There are a couple of imperfections on the wood that is apart of normal wear. Since this item is large.
