This authenticated antique desk and chair has hand carvings throughout the entire desk even including the back. There are 5 carved open compartments for organizing and a hidden drawer that opens the full length of the desk with 4 divided sections inside. The center disposal is the original period velvet sack with a hanging cord attached to a lovely ivory pearl stone set within a bronze circular ring with designs. A walnut wood weight is attached. Hand wood carvings include 2 beautiful ladies protruding from sides of desk and removable cupid on the top that is attached to the lid that covers the compartment where the clock sits. The clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo. It does move side to side and I hear ticking but is in need of adjusting. The clock is original and fits perfect to view from a circular opening made for it within the desk. This all original desk is in very good condition without repairs. It is hard to believe there are only two tips missing from the delicate finials. Located on left side underneath the desk and on the right side bottom between the legs. You will need to really search in the pictures because they are very hard to find. It is very rare to find a set. How fortunate to have this elaborate matching chair with velvet padded seat in such wonderful condition. The carvings are amazing and please view the lion and the Fiorentino symbol on the back of the chair. In my 30 years of experience I have never seen a desk set like this. It is in very good vintage condition and recently hand painted. First with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint, called Old Violet. Over the first layer we painted Emperor's Silk, a bright pure red like the red silk lining of a jacket. Then we sanded(distressed) certain parts to let the wood color and the Old Violet peek through. This vintage wooden folding chair is quite durable. It has the usual scuffs. Scrapes and discoloration consistent with age and use, but nothing to detract from its overall function and character. Folded, it measures 16" wide, 36" tall and 1.5" thick. Open, the seat is 16" up from the ground and the seat measures 12" wide in the front and 14" wide in the back and 12.75" deep. There are no cracks in the wood, the legs are worn evenly on the bottom, allowing for it to sit flat without wobble. The metal parts are all straight and tight. One side of the back rest has a space, but doesn't seem to affect sturdiness. Please carefully view pictures to further determine condition. It looks original to me. The fabric looks to be a high grade. It is in the earth tone colors with red. Gold, orange and green. The fabric print is an early American country design with flowers and people working the land. The back fabric cushion is removable.The bottom seat is upholstered to the seat and is not removable. Absolutely exquisite neoclassical antique or vintage chair. Green gold velvet. Solid iron and brass plated frame with bronze accents. Measures approximately 21" wide. 25" deep, 34" tall. Exceptional condition with a few very small black spots on the seat which are a dried substance versus stains. I was able to remove one of the spots with no residue nor damage to the fabric. Almost unnoticeable due to the sheen of the fabric and the positioning of the spots where the seat meets the backrest. This is a beautiful little high chair/ youth chair. It's stands 35" tall and it's seat is 14" x 14" Would make a great doll collectors chair. It was found on a old North Carolina farm. So it's probably hand made- it has a style all it's own. Haven't found another one that looks the same. We found the frame in a barn and was restored at a Methodist run consignment/rummage/restoration store in Maine in the 1990's. Nice job! Condition: tight frame but cane seat was left out in covered porch one summer and has some weather stain. Caning is strong and has a nice country weave. This functional rocker has a slot to hang a blanket neatly. It adds comfort to your back and also displays your special baby blanket or lap quilt. Vintage Cane Wingback Chair (pair) blue velvet
Vintage cane and wingback chairs for sale. They are a matching pair. Velvet blue, wood frame They are Mid-Century and very rare, these are the only blue ones I've ever seen. Measurements: 42" H x 27" W x 20.5" D. The chairs are slightly worn, being as old as they are you can expect that and adds to the charm, they have there original tags. Vintage Mahogany Curved Back Griffon Arm Upholstered Chair
Vintage mahogany curved back griffon arm upholstered chair. It has old gold upholstery that is tacked down. Shield back. Chair stands 32" high and is 26" wide. Measures 18" from floor to top of seat. The arms measure 2 1/2" x 3" thick. The left side griffon has one tooth broke out. Also the left side rocker leg has been broke and previously glued back. The chair arms show beautiufl wear. Don't know the time period of this chair.

I've always thought it looked better this way-gives it more character! It is so comfortable, and the rattan seat is in great condition. Age unknown. I've had it for about 20 years and purchased it vintage. It stands about 38 1/8 inches high and about 18.25 inches across, and about 16.5 inches deep. Timeless beauty. PICK UP ONLY IN NORTHERN NJ. Vintage 1940's Ladder Back Scoop Seat Handmade Wooden Rocking Chair
This is either a Childs Mission Oak Rocking Chair or a Childs Vintage Ladder Back Scoop Seat Rocker. Either way it is in very. Very good condition. This chair was handmade in Lanett, AL in the early 40's. Chair is 33" tall. Seat is 14 1/2" deep x 17" wide and 16" from the floor. I would expect this chair was made for a 5-8 year old. Nevertheless it is in excellent condition!
