It measures 25 1/4" high. 21" long rocking legs, 14" long arms with a 12" square seat. The seat cover now is a green velour fabric. Originally there was a leather cover for the seat. Under the seat fabric is a newer piece of wood for its bottom. There is a crack in the back of the chair that is shown in the last photo which does not go all the way through to the front. It doesn’t appear to have ever been used. It was sitting in the attic. The finish is dark and aged to a lovely patina. I believe the seat is original. It has a dainty carved press back, multi-turn spindles, knuckle arms, multi-turn spindles on the platform base and original castors. This is a great find for those who love original finish antiques. The overall size is 23 inches wide across the arms, 17 inches wide on the seat, 19 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, 26 inches high to the arm and 16 inches high to the seat. The platform has two coil springs that allows the rocking chair top to ride on the platform base.

Stickley Rocker Mission Oak Signed Antique
This must be the season for chairs. We are offering a gem of a rocker to you that is tough for us to part with. This one is a Stickley Brothers#790 rocker. This form is very hard to find. We are glad it turned up and we gladly restored it. It is in excellent overall condition. And has very well matched new leather upholstery. The measurements are 36 inches tall, 27 1/2 outside arm, and 16 inches seat to floor. It has a great fumed oak color and grain, retains its brass Quaint Furniture tag. It is in 3 out of 4 known Stickley Brothers catalogs. This would be a welcome addition to any bungalow, mission oak, or Stickley- style household. Also a great chair for someone just starting out, as it is as comfortable as it is useful. The chair has a few dings and scratches and a very small section of the arm that is not perfect, but it is in used, ... morenot abused condition. It is sturdy and solid, and lots of life left to offer comfort and enjoyment for years to come. Antique CARVED OAK ROCKER Rocking Chair w/ LEATHER TUFT SEAT& BACK Antique oak rocker. I believe the back to be leather and it appears to be original. The seat has been reworked over the years and is NOT leather. All the wood is oak. All the carvings are within the wood and I would believe are hand carved because of the mere age of the piece. The back is beautiful and very unique. The rocker is solid with the wood in excellent condition. Perhaps one may want to refinish the seat in what I would guess was probably tufted with deep set buttons. This was popular during the mid to later 1800's. It is real comfortable. 29-1/2" wide up at the top by the big tufted buttons where the back takes on a wing appearance. 29-1/2" wide at the top on the plain arms top. This beautiful old child’s Lincoln Rocker is made from solid oak wood. It has a wonderful patina and overall appearance. I purchased this rocker at an antique store about 20 years ago. The cane seat needed replaced. And I replaced it with a gorgeous antique faux leather seat by“SPAULDING FIBRE PRODUCTS” as is stamped on the bottom of the seat. As is the case with most children’s rockers, this chair was barely used by my grandchildren…mainly for photos! It is sound and sturdy and ready to rock! In excellent antique condition. With the normal minor wear that you would expect in a chair this old. There’s a repaired spot on the left arm that is very sturdy and barely noticeable(SEE PHOTOS) There’s also a few minor chips in the wood…no major problems at all. The chair weighs about 6.6 pounds. Antique Quarter-sawn Oak Platform Rocker Morris Chair
Big. Bold and beautiful! And very comfy. This has newer professional upholstered cushions and was refinished about 30 years ago. There is a new brass back rod because the original was lost in a move. This is a bit longer than it should be and needs to be cut down. There have been some repairs made over the years. But it is solid and very heavy. The manufacturer is unknown. The overall dimensions are 41” high with the cushions…30” deep x 31” wide. The seat depth is 22” and 18” up from the floor. Because of the size and the weight; this needs to be a local pick up or you can arrange to have packed and shipped at your cost.
