Comprised of rosewood and rosewood veneer over real wood(no mdf) The piece features two sliding doors that open to reveal a divided interior storage space with a single adjustable height shelf on the right side and three height adjustable slide out drawers on the left. This is one of the later examples(late 1960s) with the drawers being in white plastic(all original and one flocked along its interior bottom) The shelf and drawers have 7 height adjustments(2 3/8" increments) or can be removed all together, so you have many size options for your storage. Cool circular teak pull handles are integrated into the doors themselves and the credenza is finished off with solid turned legs. Legs will remove for more compact shipping. measurements Overall 33 3/4" wide by 17 7/8" deep by 29 5/8" high. Right Interior side has an overall space of just under 22" wide by 16 3/8" deep by 18 1/4" high. She resisted being ... morecalled a furniture designer and self-deprecatingly described her furniture designs as“architectural fill-ins” for the gaps around the designs of other designers in the Knoll catalog like Harry Bertoia. Eero Saarinen, Mies Van Der Rohe, Isamu Noguchi etc. Yet the designs themselves have proven her wrong. Beyond the overall form and her leather pull handles. Which are a very well thought out softening of the“touch-points” of the design, this model credenza is quite variable. It was available with a wood, linoleum, or marble top. The legs were either chrome steel, black steel, wooded legs, or even no legs as a floating wall mount. The doors were wood, or white lacquer. The only standard internal components were the pair of shelves, and beyond that they could be specified with a bay of drawers, a file drawer bay, or a bay with pull-out electronics tray for a Dictaphone(the electronic voice recorded of the day, which recorded 15 minutes of speech onto a single use vinyl belt) This particular specimen has a very well balanced mixture of the variables. With a beautiful walnut case and walnut bypass doors, chrome steel legs, and all three optional bays(stack of drawers, hanging file drawer, and electronics tray) The interior is all oak. The drawers in the stack are all solid oak fronts and sides, with dovetail construction. They also have built in drawer stops, so you can’t accidentally pull the drawer all the way out and drop it. The hanging file drawer has metal slides to bear the extra weight. The pull-out electronics tray also has metal slides and the bay has a hole for cords. All the extra space in the bays has holes for the shelf hanger clips, so the pair of shelves can be re-arranged to match your needs. Comprised of rosewood and rosewood veneer over real wood(no mdf) The piece features two sliding doors that open to reveal a divided interior storage space with a single adjustable height shelf on the right side and three height adjustable slide out drawers on the left. This is one of the later examples(late 1960s) with the drawers being in white plastic(all original and one flocked along its interior bottom) The shelf and drawers have 7 height adjustments(2 3/8" increments) or can be removed all together, so you have many size options for your ... morestorage. Cool circular teak pull handles are integrated into the doors themselves and the credenza is finished off with solid turned legs. This is a very cool and unusual design with TONS of function in a sleek low footprint. It is comprised of a beautiful blend of woods(solid teak. Teak veneer, rosewood veneer and solid beech(drawer bodies) It features two sliding doors that when slid to the left reveal a very spacious open storage area in the middle of the credenza. When the doors are slid to the right you will find another storage area with three rosewood and beech pull out drawer trays. These drawers are all felt lined, perfect for this more delicate objects. You can also remove one, two or all three of these if you want additional open storage space. Moving on over to the far right side of the credenza, there are 3 pull out drawers with AMAZING ... moreintegrated sculptural handles. It is very well made with lovely attention to detail and GORGEOUS wood grain. The size is just perfect for most any room. Not too small and not overbearingly large. The piece features double sliding doors that open to reveal two large storage areas. Each with a single height adjustable/ removable shelf. In the middle are 4 drawers for additional storage. Top two drawer is felt lined and has a removable wood segmented divider. measurements Overall 67" long by 16 3/4" deep by 29" high. Drawer interiors are each 20 1/2" wide by 12 3/4" deep by just over 3" ... morehigh. Each cabinet interior is 21 1/2" wide by 15 1/2" deep by just under 16 1/2" high. condition Overall excellent and very clean example. Doors and drawers slide smooth as silk. There is some minor light finish wear areas on the top that were near impossible to photograph. Its only to the clear coat finish. So we tried manipulating the light to make them stand out. It's the same way in person, so depending on the viewing angle and lighting the top can look perfect. Its really a non issue and in no way warrants a refinish, though one could do so for 100% perfection. One drawer has a little touched up chip on the INSIDE top edge lip, nothing you see unless you pull the drawer out and even then its nothing. Its the perfect piece for a those with limited or hard to fit space but still want the beauty and function of a LONG sleek credenza. There is literally zero footprint on the floor and its narrow depth allows placement in tight areas where most credenzas of this length would never work. Beautifully made of both solid teak and teak veneer over wood. It features a very wide open storage shelf space with two long sliding doors flanked on either side by 6 pull out drawers. Drawers are all felt lined and have lovely integrated teak ill handles. The piece can really take on different looks depending on how you place the doors(see the many many pics below for examples) or you could remove them if you want a ... morenice open display area. This is a very solid and super functional with nice detail and richness to the teak. It mounts to your wall via an integrated teak bar system using five wall anchors/ bolts. There is no visible means of support once up giving a very clean and slick look. We would suggest butterfly anchors for drywall and will include some with the credenza. If you have a solid wall like brick or the like. You will need to get the proper type of bolts at your local home center or hardware store. We do not come across pieces like this in this scale often. It has quality piano hinge fittings and sits on a solid rosewood stretcher base. This credenza features 3 sliding door sections- 2 reveal an adjustable shelf and 3rd reveals 2 felt lined drawers and an adjustable shelf. In addition there is a section with 4 drawers for even more storage. The top hutch features 2 sliding glass doors and 2 shelves. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. There are some minor scratches. Marks and dings to the wood.
