This is a very cool and unusual design with TONS of function in a sleek low footprint. It is comprised of a beautiful blend of woods(solid teak. Teak veneer, rosewood veneer and solid beech(drawer bodies) It features two sliding doors that when slid to the left reveal a very spacious open storage area in the middle of the credenza. When the doors are slid to the right you will find another storage area with three rosewood and beech pull out drawer trays. These drawers are all felt lined, perfect for this more delicate objects. You can also remove one, two or all three of these if you want additional open storage space. Moving on over to the far right side of the credenza, there are 3 pull out drawers with AMAZING ... moreintegrated sculptural handles. These drawers are larger the rosewood ones, allowing storage of bigger things. Supporting the credenza is an AWESOME floating base design in solid teak which really gives a nice airy feel to the already sleek piece. Its the perfect piece for a those with limited or hard to fit space but still want the beauty and function of a LONG sleek credenza. There is literally zero footprint on the floor and its narrow depth allows placement in tight areas where most credenzas of this length would never work. Beautifully made of both solid teak and teak veneer over wood. It features a very wide open storage shelf space with two long sliding doors flanked on either side by 6 pull out drawers. Drawers are all felt lined and have lovely integrated teak ill handles. The piece can really take on different looks depending on how you place the doors(see the many many pics below for examples) or you could remove them if you want a ... morenice open display area. This is a very solid and super functional with nice detail and richness to the teak. It mounts to your wall via an integrated teak bar system using five wall anchors/ bolts. Offered for your consideration is this mid century modern Danish credenza/ sideboard/ hutch- stamped Made in Denmark. This credenza features 3 sliding door sections- 2 reveal an adjustable shelf and 3rd reveals 2 felt lined drawers and an adjustable shelf. In addition there is a section with 4 drawers for even more storage. The top hutch features 2 sliding glass doors and 2 shelves. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. There are some minor scratches. Marks and dings to the wood. There is a water stain on the top of the top section, presumably from a plant. There is one minor repair to the top section– the crossmember on the feet was split then glued per previous owner- This does not affect the stability of the piece. Auction is for a Vintage 1960's Danish Modern Teak Sideboard. It has 3 sliding tambour doors on both upper& lower cabinets. Sideboard is in excellent condition with only a couple few stains(quarter size or smaller) on top of lower cabinet and a few light scratches here& there. Some pictures may show a red blotchy color on lower cabinet doors. There is no red blotchy color on lower doors or piece anywhere. It is reflection. It actually has a beautiful original color or patina that takes 50 years to obtain. The lower cabinet has shelf in center and 4 drawers in left side. Top cabinet has a shelf in all ... more3 sections. Also has 3 small felt lined drawers below tambour doors. Piece is solid. Joints are sturdy and strong. Upper and lower cabinets come apart from A frame sides with 4 bolts from inside each cabinet's side(see picture) Nice sleek lines. Teak wood handles. Maple interior. Beautiful grain on 4 interior drawers. Doors& drawers slide smoothly except middle door in lower cabinet sticks a little(may need adjustment) There are a few light stains on upper top cabinet but it must be disassembled or be very tall to see. Sideboard measures approx. 68" long by 71" high. Lower cabinet measures 20" deep and the upper measures 12" deep. Cabinets have a nice floating appearance. This is an absolutely stunning large teak sideboard/credenza designed by IB Kofod Larsen for Falster in the 60's. The teak grain on this piece is matched and beautiful. It has 4 drawers and 4 cabinets. With the far left cabinet containing 5 felt-lined slide out drawers as seen in pic#4. In pics#8-10 are the few issues with the piece. Pic#8 shows the 3rd from left cabinet that shows dark spots. If you look very closely in pic#1. You can also see that the door to this cabinet hangs a fraction lower than the others. Pics#9-10 are located on the top and are very minor in size. As you can see in pic#12, this piece is just as great looking from the back and could easily be used as a floating piece in your furniture arrangement.
