I have for sale a vintage TV/ Radio console credenza. It is made of veneered teak wood. It has two doors in the front. And one shelf inside. the veneer on the shelf have lifted in several places) It maybe Danish or American made. The double magnetic door catch says: AJAX USA PAT NO. 2990201 The front face of the cabinet is embedded with metal support. stainless steel? So it can withstand heavy items placed on top. And not change the structural shape. The dimensions are: 32" wide. 19.5" deep, and 23.5" tall. With legs. It is 29.5" from the floor. It has 6" long square peg legs. I apologize for the splotchy surface on the photos. I quickly applied some linseed oil with cloth to clean and polish the cabinet. But I didn't do a thorough job. If you apply more evenly. The console has been gutted of the old stereo components, but has not been further modified. The cabinet is divided into three sections, each of which lift up to reveal the storage inside. The right and left sections currently have a stop installed to prevent the top from falling backwards. However, the middle section does not(presusmably because the turntable shelf would've gotten in the way) If desired, we can remove/replace the turntable shelf and install a stop in the middle section as well. All original. The deep finish on cherry wood is in excellent condition, lightly distressed to look like an antique. The"Brescia" marble top is from the famous ancient quarry near the Italian city at the foot of the Alps. Embossed hardware is original. Curved front drawers have dovetailed joints. In the top drawer is a removable silverware holder. American made vintage furniture, doors have raised panels. The original price was reported as $8950.
