This exquisite furniture shows superior craftsmanship from the golden age of Buenos Aires in Argentina- see photos of the expert finesse throughout. The black Italian famous"Nero Porfirio" marble top has been polished and sealed to resist stains. There are various losses on the bottom and back edges. Very well preserved, the silken original finish has a little fading and has been waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm luster. Walnut is inlaid with rosewood and ebony banding. Panels are curly ash. There are minor shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
