This nice period lamp dates ca. 1900-1915 and manufactured in an era when they could be“wired” for either gas or electricity. It measures 24” tall(16” to the top of the socket) and sports an original 8” x 35” square shade having solid brass riveted frame with steel under structure. The textured opalescent slag glass is all original with no cracks. But a tiny corner loss as photographed. The base is brass plated cast iron with minor rust and it is very dirty and attic fresh. The owner thought it should be re-wired for sale, so that has been done. This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. There are a few small areas of finish loss but 99% of the original finish seems to be there. The shade from panel to panel is 17 1/2" and the shade weighs 7.10 pounds. Thank you for your interest! There are no cracks or chips on the green pottery. The bottom base is rusted along with 2 other sections. The stem of the lamp looks like it's brass and its in good condition. The light bulb holders are movable and in working condition. The green ceramic lamp has 2 lions walking in the wild, one on each side of the lamp. The are some engraved numbers on the bottom on the ceramic but hard to read because on the metal base being in the way. It measures approx 26 1/2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. Very Heavy. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. Art Deco Table Lamp Jadeite Green Sconces & Original Shade
Art Deco era lamp with jadeite green glass sconces and a decorative shade. It measures 24" in height. The shade is 10" and 12" x 18" across the bottom. At the widest. The green sconces are 4" and in great condition. No chips or cracks. They are held on by a metal screw on ring on the inside(photo 10) I couldn't get them to move or unscrew so I'll be sending the lamp with the glass shades on. One of them is not tightened and the shade will turn easily(without unscrewing) The other shade is tight. The green glass piece in the middle has a chip that you can turn to the backside. The shade is in kind of rougher shape with some tearing on the edges and loss of decoration. The stitching is still intact- it has some life left in it. The wiring looks newer than the lamp. Up for consideration is this Vintage or Antique Jadeite Art Nouveau or Art Deco Table Lamp with Antique Brass that we have married with a Light Gold Tone Lined Scalloped Shade. We see some of these advertised as vasaline glass. We don't have one of the lamps that make the glass glow so we don't know if this one is or not. The lamp is in very good to excellent vintage antique condition. There is some patina on the brass and the cord is approximately 34 inches long. The shade still has the tag and plastic protective wraping still in place. It measures approximately 11 inhces wide at shade. 7 inches wide outer foot to outer foot at base and 21 inches tall. This auction is for a beautiful antique wicker lamp and wicker shade. it is in an adirondack green color with a country red on the outside edge of the shade. it is about 23" tall and the shade is about 22 1/2" across at the bottom of it. The base is all wicker and so is the shade. it does have not electric wiring that would need replacing before i would ever plug it is. the wicker on the shade and the lamp base is in great condition. the shade has a cloth lining inside of it and it is in rougher shape. It is a large wicker lamp with a great shade that has some weaving then some fancier open weaving then more solid and more open. very nice. any questions just ask.

This is a beautiful lamp that is able to be used as a table lamp or a newel post lamp. It has stood for over a hundred years in a Minneapolis mansion as a newel post lamp at the foot of the main staircase. It truly is from the gas light era and is indeed a gas lamp. The figure is that of a patriot complete with the proper hat and musket. It is undamaged and the shade when lighted is magnificent. What a perfect lamp for a period restoration. Etc. Finial has a scrape(see photo) and the hand of one cherub is either chipped or not defined(see photo- if it's chipped it is a smooth chip) but otherwise no chips or scratches that I can see. Pr vntg glass brass electric table lamp green blue teal with white roses etched
Absolutely gorgeous.Pair of vintage,teal, glass lamps have white roses lightly painted on them, making them look almost like etching. The glass part is in excellent condition with what looks to be real gold lines near the top as well as lightly painted wide stripes that also almost look like etched sections and a ruffled top edge. They also have a 2 or 3 way switch and you can have the bulb at the top on. The bulb inside the base or both. It almost seems like one of the ones in the base may need to be replaced but I will leave that to the buyer as they don't always travel well anyway. The brass/ brass look part is in good condition but does have a slightly vintage patina. The shades are in very good condition and in a beautiful matching(probably hard to find) color. They have some tiny spots that should come off easily but I'm just ... morenot sure of the best way to clean them without leaving water spots so I've refrained and will leave that to the buyer.The glass part measures aprox 10" in diameter at the widest part. The lamps appear to have two different size harps on them making them measure 29" 31" tall. These can easily be purchased and switched and I believe that would make them the same height, though in all the years I've had them I never realized they were different until I put them next to each other. These may be shipped by Greyhound and would have to be picked up at your nearest Greyhound station. If I find that I could ship them separately for the same price or less through UPS or the Post Office I will ship them that way and partially refund postage if there is much difference.
