The shade is made of a cast metal with a bronze finish and fitted with six amber(caramel) slag glass panels. The base has a pull chain double socket and is also made of cast metal. There is some age appropriate surface wear to both parts of the lamp such a patina and finish loss. Also there is a crack in the shade's metal frame(see pic 7) and some light scratches on some of the glass panels but none that are apparent(most of these are just deep striations in the glass made during production) Otherwise the lamp is wonderful condition and is in perfect working order as well. The shade measures 16 1/4" W x 8 1/4" H. The lamp base measures 20 1/4" H(with& without shade) x 7 1/8" W and is marked on the bottom: E M& Co 1159. Good Luck& Happy Bidding! I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. Some wear and/or small chips to the finish. Measures 16 1/2" assembled. The shade itself is 6 1/2" tall and the opening is 7" across. Some rough areas and chips on the edges of the glass pieces but nothing that shows from the outside and no cracks, some scratches or scuffs on the outside, the metal hides any edge damage. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

No manufacturing marks found. Two tone bronze patinas. Base is yellow bronze casting the upper classical urn body is a dark liver patina. I took the base apart looking for identifying larks and showed interior in photos. Light sockets work with original wiring and toggles. this is a slag lamp base from the 1920's sturdy enough to hold a very large slag glass canapy. Only one defect is minor dent in the shadows of side that I backlighted to exaggerate for you to see better. It is not noticable. Found in North Crown Heights. Brooklyn Historic district.

This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. There are a few small areas of finish loss but 99% of the original finish seems to be there. The shade from panel to panel is 17 1/2" and the shade weighs 7.10 pounds. Thank you for your interest! Mission style lamp base with a slag glass, octagon, oak frame shade. the shade is not original to the lamp, originally it would of had a square shade. it is 31" tall including the shade. the base is 20 1/2" tall X 21 1/2" across the arms. the leaded glas and green glass panels are intact except for 2 hairline cracks in 1 panel( see photos) the shade appears to made during the same time period as the base but the finish is just about all gone we will ship the lamp& shade in 2 boxes to insure safe delivery.

The crack took me a while to see but it is present yet the slag glass is holding inside the metal casting perfectly fine. The ... morerest of the lamp is in spectacular condition with not other flaws and a beautiful light patina showing through parts of the metal. Lamp is signed on the underside of the base. Base is heavy cast iron with a brass stem and cast iron metal holding the slag glass panels. Overlay metal work on the shade has a nice hammered aged look to it with some dust present and light surface scratches yet I think that is from production and not actu al scratches. The base is etched with a very nice leaf/floral design cut deep in to the cast iron. Also included with the lamp is an old 8 foot extension cord that match's the lamp's cord. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. This is a beautiful lamp that needs to be restored. It has 3 sockets but only 2 of them have chains. One socket looks like a replacement with no chain. The base has paint loss. You are looking at an authentic original Bradley and Hubbard slag glass table lamp. These lamps were produced in the early 1900's. I do not know the exact production year of this lamp. Please check the photos to see the beautifully detailed“lace designs” at the base of each glass piece. There are 8 panels of beautiful flowing tan. Brown, and white slag glass. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Located on the inside of shade top is a traditional Bradley Hubbard triangular stamp. see photo) The traditional Bradley Hubbard Stamp is also located on the bottom of the base(see photo) The base is also stamped with the number 264. Antique Polychrome Arts & Crafts Nouveau Table Lamp w/ Caramel Slag Glass Shade
This is a gorgeous antique polychrome arts and crafts style lamp with art nouveau inspired tendrilous floral pattern around the bottom of the shade and 8 boldly marbled caramel slag glass panels. The lamp base seems to be spelter with elegant floral and leaf patterns and a bronze colored finish with gold accents. There is a matching cap and large floral finial on top. The light cluster has are two working pull chain sockets. Both of which are newer replacements, and there is new wiring throughout. The overall condition is very good. There is some scuffing and worn spots on the polychrome finish and there are a few areas that were touched up. But they are not obvious. All of the glass panels are complete with no cracks or large chips, but there are a few small chips on the edge of one panel close to the clasp that holds it in place, but they ... moreare not visible from the outside. Nothing is broken or missing, and the lamp in its entirety is sturdy, straight, and solid. The finish, fit, and materials used on the shade and lamp match, so I believe they are an original pair. There are no markings that I can see. The lamp stands 22" high and the shade measures 17" in diameter. It will be wrapped very well. Double boxed, and insured during shipping. Antique Slag Glass Table Lamp-B&H,Miller Era-Matching Eight Panel Shade and Base
Absolutely stunning slag glass table lamp. B&H. Miller"era" base and shade design. Pinkish red flowers with greenery on matching eight panel shade and base with original parts. Cord is in good condition, and both sockets and pulls operate as intended and were working at time of listing. Unsigned work. Markings on the pulls, have"Patented 9,and either an"11" or"V" its hard to tell. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Has a few scratches to the paint in some areas, and has a very small area on the base that looks like maybe a soft drink spill(it does come off, but I didn't detail clean it to be safe) See last 2 photos.
