Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century ... moreglass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. There is just the usual chipping along the opening hole in the lid where the chain comes through(that is normal for this type of lamp) One of the peacock heads has lost its little clip that folds over the bell jar edge(see pictures) but that does not compromise the stability or ability to safely hang this lamp. This lamp has not been converted for electricity and is in good original antique condition(even the glass is covered in age dirt, but I will leave the cleaning to the new owner in case they like the aged look) Please excuse any glares(white patches) that you may see in the pictures. These are caused by reflections of light on the surface and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands(Amsterdam. Holland) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe. Miller slag glass lamp shade-Very Unique (SHADE ONLY) 10 Panel
This is a 10 panel slag glass lamp shade in caramel color. The 10 top panels are all intact. There are 6 skirt panels that have cracks but are being held in place by the ornate structure. They could probably be glued together. They are not very noticeable. NO HOLES. The shade can be oriented so that none of the cracks can be discernable. The shade came off a Miller base. Which was lost in a move. The top of the shade has a hole for the mount, and there are several ventilation holes surrounding it. Thanks for looking! BTW the dimentions are 14" across and 7.5" high.

H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago Reverse Painted or Slag Glass Panel Table LAMP BASE
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage circa 1910-1920s signed H A BEST LAMP CO Chicago. Ill USA lamp base- originally meant for a slag glass lamp. The ring diameter for the ring fitter would be approx 2-3/4" diameter. The lamp is very ornate and has the original antique gold finish. It stands approx 22" no including the finial which may or may not be the original but looks good together. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition- No damages but a few minor manufacturing mold imperfections- a few small inclusions- basically what you see in pic#2- maybe a couple more but nothing thats any real big deal. No chips. No cracks, No repairs, its as it was from the factory. I am unsure if the sockets are original or not- The top caps have a bright yellowish tint but the bottoms look correct- I am not sure just pointing out what I see. 3 Arts & Crafts Slag Leaded Panel Glass Lamp Shades - NO RESV - Bradley Hubbard
Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there is some damage to the filigree. I posted nice, large pictures of all the shades. Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

This is a Great Old Green Slag Glass Table Lamp Shade in very good condition! It is an 8 Panel shade and all the glass is damage free it also has all it's little tabs. I see no makers marks so I do not know who made the shade or it's age my best guess is 1940s but it could be earlier. It looks to be very well made. There are a few small areas of finish loss but 99% of the original finish seems to be there. The shade from panel to panel is 17 1/2" and the shade weighs 7.10 pounds. Thank you for your interest! From a local estate. A beautiful vintage"Blue Slag Glass and Metal End Of The Trail Lamp Shade. Nice detail and eye appeal. Shade dates from the late 19teens to the 1920's. Six identical panels make up the shade. Each panel is held in place with a soldered brass holder. The metal design of the outer shade appears to be spelter finished with a bronze look. Marked on the inside of the shade top with what appears to be a series of letters and numbers"HB ... more618 595 411. No other marks that I could find. Measures approx. 7 1/2" high. Each panel base measures approx. 7" and each panel top measures approx. 2 3/4. Width of shade from flat side to flat side is 12" and from angle point to angle point is 14 1/4. No damage to any of the glass panels. No apparent damage to the metal parts of the shade that I could see. This is a very heavy shade. It needs a heavy metal base to appropriately hold and show the shade. A great item for your collection. I could find only one of these shades offered in the past six years. This is for a Beautiful Ornate Antique 12 Panel Slag Glass Lamp. The lamp has been professionally restored and rewired. The cord is period cloth covered. The sockets are original Arrow Sockets and work well. The 12 original glass panels are all without chips. cracks or repairs. The side curved panels are a combination of tones from blue to lavender. The"tree trunk" type base appears to be spelter or a bronze/brass type metal. As a magnet will not stick anywhere. The unsigned base is numbered, without name, but looks just like several Miller bases I have had in the past. All tabs are present. The frame is solid without splits(there are some solid repairs to the frame) The ornate fillagree is all present. This is an antique Rainaud lamp. The bottom of the lamp is stamped Rainaud C with the number 30 in the center at the bottom. Parts of the lamp are metal. And other parts are a metal like material. ANTIQUE SLAG PANEL GLASS LAMP SHADE WITH FILIGREE
Up for auction is a GORGEOUS antique caramel and green slag glass paneled lamp shade 12" tall. 21" across with a 5 1/2" fitter hole at the top. It has some finish wear and has all of the clips that hold in the glass panels, in very good cond. There is one section that has the filigree missing in about a 2 inch section, as shown in one of the pictures. All 16 pieces of slag glass are in tact with no chips outside the normal score and breaking. Shipping and insurance is $50 within the continental United States. For your consideration is a" bradley-hubbard" antique/vintage slag glass shade Mission Arts Crafts Lamp Shade Monumental Overlay table lamp acorn final with heavy ornate overlay on the 6 panel caramel glass. The shade is very impressive and measuring 6-3/4" tall. It is being sold as is as found. It's a great tight shade but is bent a little they have been there for quite sometime you don't even notice them. and does have wear typical of age and use. But as you can see was remarkable preserved. There are no cracks in the panels.the bottom base is aluminum and 14-1/4 tall by 4-1/4 wide.This does need a good cleaning as there is quite a bit of paint old and dust on it. Here's a Rainaud lamp base for a slag glass shade. This base is straight and true and is not cracked or dented. It is 20 1/2' tall to the top of the cluster and has a 6 3/8" diameter foot. It weighs just under 4 1/2 pounds As you can see there is some chipping to the paint on the stem and on the finial. This would be easy to touch up if desired. The two sockets have been replaced with new Leviton sockets. They have been wired with modern cord and plug. Pic no. 5 shows the signature on the bottom. Stylish Slag Glass Umbrella Shade Panel Lamp
This very stylized slag glass panel lamp(circa 1920`s) Has a very early Art Deco feel. The shade is very shallow and has opalescent textured carmel glass with no damage. The top of the shade has open filigree for good venting. The base has a double socket with one pull chain. Pulling once turns on one light, then 2 lights etc. There is no signature on this lamp. The lamp stands almost 19" tall, the shade is 16" across and the base is 6 1/2" across. This lamp could even be used in a contemporary setting. Very cool! MLCo SLAG GLASS PANEL ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP IN THE MORNING GLORY PATTERN
Great panel lamp marked ML Co. It has the morning glory design. The lamp has a height of 22" The shade has 8 panels of smooth amber glass. The diameter of the shade is 16 1/2" 17 1/2" The shade is 8" deep. The base has 2 pull chain sockets. The base does have some minor stress cracks that I have shown in the photos. I have shown photos of the lamp lit and unlit. Beautiful either way. It is all ready to go. I am not an expert. Please ask questions before you bid. All sales are final. ANTIQUE REVERSE PAINTED 6 PANEL LAMP WITH LIGHT UP BASE
This lamp belonged to my mother and is in beautiful condition. The lamp is 24" tall and measures 28" around the base. Lamp shade has 6 reverse painted curved glass panels. The shade is 8 1/2" tall and measures 57" around the widest part. Lamp base also lights up and has 4 reverse painted glass panels. All 3 lights are in working order. This lamp is very heavy due to the framework being made of metal. There is some chipping in the paint on the top. All sales are final. See photos. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Early Bradley and Hubbard B & H B&H 8 Panel Green Fern Slag Glass Bronze Lamp
A Lovely Example of Bradley and Hubbard's work during America's gas era; appears it have been adapted from gas. Which would date this as one of it's transition works before the switch to electric. The Shade is graciously understated with the glow of the bronze fern motif through the green slag glass panels. The Bronze base is stamped"B& H' underneath to indicate Bradley and Hubbard, and has an orchid floral motif around the top. Everything appears to be original, except where it was adapted to electricity. Great Piece! Here's a little History from the Smithsonian's website on the Bradley and Hubbard Company: The partnership of Nathaniel and William L. Bradley, Walter Hubbard, and Orson and Chitten Hatch began in Meriden, Connecticut in 1852 as Bradley, Hatch& Company. Clocks were the sole product of the ... morenewly formed company. When the Hatch brothers sold their interests in the firm two years later, Nathaniel Bradley, William Bradley and Walter Hubbard formed a company which they named simply Bradley and Hubbard.
