Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The cranberry red glass ball shade is 9" wide.

We are pleased to offer this very special lamp. Dating to the 1880s. This beautiful lamp is truly an art piece. It features a large or ornate cast iron base with either pewter or silver plate hardware just above. Seated in the mid section of the lamp is a wonderful spelter Greyhound or Whippet dog sculpture. This beautiful piece is nicely detailed and the collared dog is gorgeous. He is seated upon a pewter or silver plate piece which is incised and resembles a cobblestone or bricked surface. A lall and slender brass column is positioned behind the dog and attached the lamp base to the brass oil reservoir. The brass reservoir is large. It has a few minor dings but is in good condition. There is a area on the upper section which is opened and does not have a cover(see picture 9) I am not sure what this is. The original font has been replaced, ... moreprobably when the lamp was converted. However, it would be very easy to return the lamp to oil burning if you so desired. The lamp has a beautiful, golden yellow shade with Eagle and Star pattern. It is very nice with some minor wear. This lamp is quite rare and exceptional. It is in overall wonderful condition but it does have some minor signs of age and use. It is a gorgeous piece of 19th century art! The lamp is quite large. It measures 24" to the top of the burner. The dog sculpture is 7" tall. The lamp is 32" tall with the shade attached. The shade is 8" tall with a 10" fitter measurement. The lamp base is 9" in diameter. Large Victorian Frilled Cranberry Glass Oil Lamp Shade Here is a nice example of a late Victorian cranberry glass oil lamp shade which has quilted decoration to the sides and an attractive frilled rim. It stands 8.375 inches high and measures 9.875 inches wide across the frilled rim and 5.5 inches in diameter across the base. For accuracy there are several tiny specks within the glass and one tiny rough speck on the rim. All of which have occurred during manufacture and in no way detract. There are no chips or cracks and the cranberry colour is strong. For your consideration is this Antique Piano Parlor B&H Ornate Table Oil Kerosene Lamp With Fenton Coindot Shade. This Beautiful. Antique Oil Lamp measures approximately 32 3/4" tall and 9 1/4" wide. The Pink Fenton Coindot shade measures approximately 5 1/8" tall and 8 5/8" in diameter. The base of the shade measures approximately a little under 4" in diameter. The shade is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. The only thing I can see is 1 thin flake on the bottom rim of the shade(shown in pic) and the normal minor roughness around the inside rim from being cut away from the mold. The lead glass chimney to the lamp measures approximately 10" tall and about 3 1/4" at it's widest point. The chimney is signed at the top. HIGH GRADE ATLAS LEAD GLASS. It is in very nice condition, EXCEPT for ... morea very small flake around the bottom rim and a couple very small spots of roughness around the bottom rim as well. The ornate. Up for bid is this vintage cased glass lamp shade. It is in good condition. It has a ground rim and the fitter side is ground also. It has a few tiny fleabites. But not bad. It is cased glass with white glass in the middle and pink on the outside and inside. This is thick glass. It measures 5 1/2" in height, about 3 1/4" across the top rim and 3 1/16" across the fitter end. This is a very pretty pink color. Pictures 2& 3 show more of it's true color. Thanks for looking!

Antique glass oil lamp electrified/muslin shade. Gorgeous looking.
This was tagged a antique whale lamp that was electrified. It has a nice muslin shade with a great design in the fabric. The shade is a little soiled in 3 parts of the shade. I would turn that side to the back. Of course you have to look to notice due to the color of the fabric. I would not hesitate from using it just the way it is. It measures 10 1/2" from the bottom of the lamp to the bottom of the brass socket. Like I said the tag said whale lamp but you look it over to make sure that is the style. 1898 Edward Miller Brass Ornate Banquet Converted Oil Lamp with Fenton Shade
This is an Awesome RARE Find! A 1898 E. M. Co. Apollo Dual Burner" Very Ornate Serpent Footed Oil Lamp that has been Converted to Electric and Matched with a Fenton Milk Glass and Blue Ruffle Edged Hobnail Shade. I researched this and only found the burner itself on Treasurenet. com- its authentic but the crown for the wicks has been burrowed out to include the lighting mechanism and the wick turner as shown in picture#11 is only cosmetic right now. The Apollo Dual Burner Brass Body is beyond Spectacular. The craftsmanship is like none other I have seen. It has 3 serpent feet on Crowned Pillars that attached to a heavily patterned Body that can be turned. Etched deep into the pewter colored Burner Body's Bottom Half are leaves and raised swirls( picture 4) Rims of circular star bursts and in its center, on ALL 3 Sides is a LIONS ... moreHEAD( see picture 5) The Top Half has beautiful circles of raised Leaves and then Spades, set off with ornate rims on the top and bottom of this half of the burner. The actual burner of this 1898 Oil Lamp has been converted to electric- I have taken a detailed picture- 8. That shows the former rims for the oil burner and chimney holder. In the conversion process, an owner added a chain pull to switch the light on and off. This does impede the placement of a chimney as it will cover the pull chain. I have placed a 7 1/2 inch clear chimney inside the GORGEOUS FENTON HOBNAIL Shade. It is a Milk Glass Beauty with widely spaced Hobnails and an Ornate sky blue Turned Down Ruffle Edge with a 4 7/8 inch rimmed bottom that fits nicely into the 5 1/8 inch metal burner rim. This lamp stands approximately 15 1/2 inches tall including the shade and it is 9 inches tall from the serpent feet to the top of the lighting mechanism. It is in wonderful condition. Antique Duplex banquet Parlor Piano Brass Lamp oil Cast Iron Floor satin shade
I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. The shade has to small chips to the fitter end that goes into shade holder so it is not visible when on the Lamp.The oil Reservoir is frosted Pressed Glass and the bottom part of the stem with painted Butterfly I Believe is a soft Blue milkglass. The base is footed and chased, etched. The burner is marked and has Patent date on the turn wheel for wick but my eyes are not good enough to make it out. Oil stand lamp. Bloxam" translucent milk glass, 2 burner Plume& Attwood"Banner, and a milk glass petticoat shade, c1880s. For pattern, reference Thuro's book 2"Oil Lamps II" pub. 1983/90, p 101 fig g for a flat hand lamp, and p. 104 fig g for a stand lamp. Not sure who made this lamp. Have seen it in clear, and the minature versions with nbr. 1 burners or smaller burners. This is the only milk glass one I've seen, so I know it is hard to find. The lamp is about 9.125" to the collar, and 19.5" with the chimney and burner. I added the petticoat shade later based on a comment from my wife. The petticoat shade is about 2.56" tall and 8.75" wide. All of the glass is in excellent condition. When I purchased it many years ago, the collar was loose, so I re-plastered it later. You are bidding on a tall converted oil or kerosene lamp with a hand-painted milk glass shade. Lamps like this date from the Victorian period. We are unsure of the exact age of this lamp. But it was in my grandparents' home(they were married in the early 1920's) then in my parents' home. The clear glass bowl is pressed glass and stands on a ceramic and filigreed brass base. 1870's Oil Student Lamp for Parts or Repair-Has been Electrified-Original Shade
We present to you for your bidding consideration this 1870's Oil Student Lamp for Parts or Repair- Has Been Electrified- Original Green and White Cased Glass Shade. The Lamp Shaft stands 19 3/4" tall on a weighted base that is 6 1/8" diameter and is 2" tall. The Oil Reservoir stands 8" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter. The burner is un-marked and incomplete and stands 5 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" in diameter. The shade holder is 7" in diameter at the base and the shade stands 5 3/16" tall. The only mark found is what I believe to be the Shade Holder Patent(see photograph No. 3) The condition is"good" as the lamp has been modified to electric at some point. Beautiful Victorian Hinks & Sons Ceramic Oil Banquet Lamp, Original Glass Shade
Beautiful Victorian Hinks and Sons Ceramic Oil Banquet Lamp with Original Acid Etched Glass Shade This lovely Victorian oil/kerosene lamp by Hicks and Sons is all original from its base to its duplex burners to its acid etched. Floral design, glass shade. This example of a vintage English banquet lamp has a commanding, and yet quietly elegant, presence. The lamp stands over 23.5" tall by over 6" wide at the base; the piece is quite substantial and heavy probably due to the heavy ceramic, weighted metal base. The naturalistic, calming colors of blue, green, ochre and cream in the ceramic portion(Doulton? complement the quiet elegance of the acid etched floral glass shade. The ceramic base almost has an arabesque design look to it with some elements of aesthetic(nature) movement. As you can see from the photos, some of the ceramic ... moredesign is raised in certain portions of the motif giving it an embossed, three dimensional look. The middle ceramic component is seated on a footed brass base; the oil font sits down in a brass holder seated in the ceramic portion. The lamp is marked by the makers in the following places: on the brass neck near the two wick turners(Hinks and Son's Patent" on the end of the wick turners(Best British Maker F" with what looks like a sun logo in the middle) on the very bottom of the metal base(Hinks and Son's.468" This lamp is in what I consider excellent to very good condition, especially considering its age and utilitarian purpose. The brass footed base has some indications of age such as darkening and pitting; I could find no cracks, no chips and no imperfect areas in the ceramic portion. The only imperfections in this over 100 year old lamp can be attributed to age and use and are the following: several flakes, tiny chips in the glass in the bottom rim of the glass shade; these flakes cannot be seen while the shade is resting in its brass holder.
