Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there is some damage to the filigree. I posted nice, large pictures of all the shades. Vintage Large Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. The overall height of the lamp is 29 inches. The base is 9 inches wide. The globe is 19 inches wide and 11 inches high. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Which sits on the top of the glass shade has been broken. The replacement parts are available for this type lamp under $50.00 The coloring is really nice. Great antique art deco/nouveau figural Egyptian Sphinx(made out of what I believe to be bronze) lamp with an exquisite marbled leaded slag glass multi colored shade. The arm holding the shade rotates from side to side. And I believe it is brass. This piece is in excellent condition, the shade is free from any chips or cracks. The lamp weighs over 6 pounds, it's a very solid heavy piece. There is some wear from age to the arm, and some age to the body of the Sphinx, so please look closely at the pictures. I couldn't find any makers mark, the only signature I could find was the"Leviton" which is the company that makes the wiring. I have looked all over. For sale is a classic Unique Company leaded glass lamp. This exact lamp base with the Saturn socket cluster(photos 3-4) and patina is shown in Paul Crists's book"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 47. As you can see in photos 3-7. This base exhibits Unique's varigated green-brown patina. According to Paul Crist, in"Mosaic Shades II" at p. 48, The most attractive examples[of this base] are in a varigrated green-brown patina over copper plate which is virtually identical to Tiffany's famous finish- an achievement that speaks to the experience and professionalism of Unique's manufactory. Photos 3 and 7 are the best representation of the actual color of this lamp base. This Unique lamp base stands 23 inches tall. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter and has Unique's classic counterweight. The base has three ... moresockets with matching 8.5 inch long acorn pulls. Two of the sockets are the early Hubbell sockets with the raised letters"HUBBELL" on the socket shell. These sockets have their original porcelain inserts(photo 6) and mica insulators. At some time in the distant past. The third socket was replaced and the socket shell patinated green and black. I cannot tell the manufacturer of the socket shell as there is a lot of coating on the outside. However. I did replace the interior of that socket with a next generation Hubbell porcelain. All three sockets click crisply and function properly. The lamp has been completely rewired. You can have the old wiring if you want it. The electrical cord has been replaced with a black rayon(cloth) covered cord that is period appropriate. The lamp retains its original black Bakelite plug. see photo 11) The shade is 17 inches in diameter and 9 inches deep. It is unsigned but has has Unique's periwinkle pattern. This belonged to my Mother. As a child growing up in the 1950's I remember this having a large Tiffany style shade about 20"24" in diameter on it. After she passed away lamp shade got separated from base accidentally and got sold. It has a Bryant Electric Company single pull switch that operates each lamp separately and simultaneously, it works fine. Very heavy lamp weighing almost 5 pounds. I am so excited to offer this very rare exceptional Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Favrile Glass lamp Very early piece. Possibly(and probably) one of the first 16" tall. Shade is 12" in diameter Let's start with the signatures. They are everywhere they are supposed to be. Base- Signed Tiffany Studios New York with the pre-1902 5 digit serial number of 10752 Shade- Bronze applied tag signed Tiffany Studios New York Favrile lower shade- Signed L.C.T. I have photographed all of these for your inspection Signatures aren't everything when it comes to Tiffany Studios so let's move on to the other details. Wear and tear- At the top of the shade. There is a panel that has loosened over the years. There is also a crack in one of the lower triangular panels. On the lower favrile shade, someone had very long ago wrapped this ... morein tape to protect it while being secured into place, it is dirty black and crumbles now and it is very hard to read the L.C.T. but it is there. One of the pull switches is stuck in the on position and will not move. The wiring is old on this lamp and the sockets are original. I was attempting to inspect the socket of the side that is stuck on. I stuck my finger in there( and it lit me up. The cord is a cloth covered Leviton and I'm unsure if this is original but it does have significant age. The pull chains are bronze and have the correct early bronze ball pull. Acetone nail polish remover did not affect the color of the glass. The patina is even on all parts of the lamp and the quality of the bronze is wonderful. As it should be. A very nice antique. Circa 1920's, bronze base boudoir lamp with antique leaded slag glass shade. The lamp base is probably made by Handel, although the shape of the base, and the shade cap, are not pictured in either of the two major reference books on Handel. The shade is probably not by Handel. As presented the lamp measures 15" tall by 5" bottom diameter. The shade measures 4" tall by 5" diameter, the top opening 2-1/4" diameter. It is in working order with original socket, new cord, old plug. Excellent condition: bronze base without dents, original even patina without verdigris. The shade is without damage, secure leadings.

Tiffany lamp "Cherry Blossom" museum quality reproduction leaded glass Bronze
LT1810-LB1301. This is a wonderful new museum quality reproduction of a Tiffany Cherry Blossom Stained Leaded Glass Lamp. This lamp along with the Wisteria Lamps became one of the most popular vines lamps in the late 1800's. Tiffany seems to have designed this lamp and started producing it about 1902. In 1910 it was officially discontinued and removed from the catalog. It was a popular lamp and now they are over 100 years old. Dr. Neustadt in his book"The Lamps of Tiffany" classifies these Lamps under the"Irregular upper and Lower Borders" as"the final. Incomparable, catagory.which) adopt the outlines dictated by Nature. It is a beautiful lamp, standing about 27 in tall, 18 in wide at the shade on a base about 13 in. at the bottom of the tree. It weighs about 30 lbs. There are 1550 pieces of cut and ground glass ... moreof various colors and textures used in this magnificent lamp with each piece leaded into place. The leading is well done and nicely rounded on both sides. Check out the pictures. Notice the bronze cast branches openwork that supports the lamp shade at the top. It is open to let any heat from the lamps escape while keeping to the nature of the grape vine itself. There are bronze support"branches" that extend down the sides of the shade and are leaded to the glass flowers to add support to the shade. The large tree shaped base is cast bronze with 4 lamp sockets. The shade bronze top socket sets on the top of the tree base to complete the lamp. Both the shade and base are beautifully patinated. It is just a beautiful lamp. Now you can have your own for but a fraction of the cost of an original without sacrificing quality. HUGE Circa 1910 Chicago Mosaic Stained Leaded Glass Lamp Floral Pink Rose Green
Huge. Rare, Chicago Mosaic Stained Leaded Glass Table Lamp. Beautiful colors! PLEASE NOTE the last three pictures are similar Chicago Mosaic shades I found on the web. The lamp base is entirely different. c. 1910 Shade measurements: Roughly 9-1/4" tall x 18-1/2" across. Base measurement with Shade: Double socket lamp has adjustable height and makes lamp between 28" and 32" tall. In the picture it is in it's highest position; I think it looks better lowered. There are some cracks to some of the glass panes. Roughly 11(give or take) possibly heat cracks, but as one might expect from a lamp of this age. Under the magnification feature you should be able to easily see them though they are not so visible under normal use. There have been no restorations done. Acorn finial. May or may not be original to lamp. Cast metal ... morebase. Possibly spelter. This lamp, overall, is extremely heavy. NO international shipping. Lamp is being sold as found. The identical ceiling mounted version. Albeit with a ribbed edge for heat control, is shown in Paul Crist's book, Mosaic Shades II, at page 241, top right. A copy of the photo from p. 241 of the book is shown as the last photo in this listing. The shade is 20 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches deep. The inside cup diameter for the shade is 3 3/16 inches. The shade is rare in that it's bottom edge has an attractive 3/8 inch wide ring of patinated copper or ... morebrass folded along the bottom. This same heavy edge is shown on the corresponding ceiling mounted shade in the Paul Crist's book. The bluish glass in the shade is a beautiful vaseline glass. All the glass in this lamp shade is thick and heavy. However. There are numerous(about 31) hairline cracks to the glass. Some panels have two. At one time, someone used glue on the inside to stabilize the cracks. I did not try to remove it. Nevertheless, the lamp and glass is still stunning, particularly when lit. Bradley & Hubbard 3 Socket Table Lamp For Slag Leaded Stained Glass Shade.
This is a beautiful lamp that needs to be restored. It has 3 sockets but only 2 of them have chains. One socket looks like a replacement with no chain. The base has paint loss. The mid section looks good. It has a nice patina. This lamp is 22 inches tall. It would make quite a show piece once restored. It is a heave lamp and very well made. No reserve past opening bid for this gorgeous high quality guaranteed antique(circa 1915) leaded glass table lamp. Numbered"9" under base but otherwise mark appears illegible, see photo. Lamp has 16" diameter shade and stands 22" high, looks nice on or off, see pictures. Beautiful leaded art glass shade features graduating size light caramel colored segments over a band of darker caramel rectangles, with an apron consisting of 2 rows of colorful turquoise and blended color segments separated by light caramel segments and connected by alternating jewel-like green and red tapered oval pieces. Glass is all original. No replaced pieces. The leading has a gold tone finish, some minor wear. Metal base has color, shape and design that compliments the shade nicely. Original finish, minor wear only, see photos. The two sockets ... moreand pull chains work smoothly. The shade rests on a brass disc, which is unseen but is probably a replacement, looks newer. The cap/finial are definitely old but look to have been repainted, good match to base though. Lamp has been rewired at one time. Works fine. Overall the lamp is in very nice condition: there is just one little red piece that is cracked.very stable, and virtually unnoticeable since the little red and green pieces have a light-reflecting granite texture. UNIQUE LEADED LAMP NOT HANDEL DUFFNER OR TIFFANY STUDIOS
You are viewing an early 1900's leaded lamp made by the Unique Lamp Company in NY. The shade is about 20 1/2" diameter and about 10" deep. The flowers go from pink when it's turned off. Then. To red when they are back-lit. I'm not sure of he pattern, but I've heard the flowers referred to as cabbage roses. One of the flowers has two pieces that are chipped. They should be visible in the close-up photos. The flower next to it to the right has two tight hairline cracks. I didn't notice until a few minutes ago. But the next to last photo shows a close-up of an area which has been repaired. I count around 10 pieces which have been re-soldered. I'm not sure if any glass was changed or not. A lot of these old big lamps pull apart at some of the solder joints. The base is very heavy and stands about 27 1/2" ... moretall to the top of the finial. I put a magnet on the bottom of the base and it would not stick. I scratched the bottom and the scratched area was silver. So, I'm guessing it's spelter. If you have questions feel free to ask. We have here a rare and hard to find authentic, WILKINSON LEADED STAINED GLASS LAMP on a Wilkinson base, which is signed with a number on the bottom. The number is a little hard to make out and might be 308, 309. Wilkinson uses 5 normally so it might be 508 or 509. This BEAUTIFUL Lamp is a stunner, BOTH ON and OFF as with leaded glass lamps, it's all about the color and this has GREAT COLORS& TEXTURE! I have seen this shade with this same floral pattern but not with these colors; and if you like BLUES& GREENS, PINKS& GOLDEN YELLOW ORANGE, this is for you. The choice of glass is OUTSTANDING. There is great coloration and excellent use of glass selected for TEXTURE, such as RIPPLE, slag, striated, swirling, marble& mottled glass, all expertly selected in the making ... moreof this shade. The shade is about 18.5 inches across x 8 3/8' tall. This is the known factory size, and it goes to show that this was never repaired. The height of the HEAVY library base is about 27' to the top of the ball finial. The shade is unsigned, which is normal and to be expected; but this is a known, fully DOCUMENTED LAMP made by Wilkinson Company in Brooklyn, New York, between 1907 and 1915. You can see a similar lamp that sold on RUBYLANE by following this link. Wilkinson lamp from antiquevintagelamps on Ruby Lane We think the Ruby Lane lamp was not as nice looking. As the glass choice for the background is basically green and there is not a nice mix of colors. It sold for more than our opening price. This EXACT shade design can be found on page 268 and the base can be found on page 266 in the book: Mosaic Shades Volume II by Paul Crist I will describe the lamp in several ways. First the glass shade. In a nut shell it is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION. The lead work is tight and the greenish gray patina is all original and its beautiful. Fresh from Maryland Estate sale is this original Unique Lamp Art Glass& Metal Co. lamp base.VERY Very nice old lamp. The base is unsigned on the underside. Rich patina with green lines in body. The base is large and stands 23.25 inches in height. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter. The base has wonderful patina, the sockets, the heat cap, the finial and the acorns match perfectly. Circa 1910? The base has it's three original Hubbell neckless sockets. Each socket is heavily embossed with Hubbell. Sockets have matching Hubbell interior and mica insulators. All three sockets work and click crisply. The base has an old silk electrical cord but do not know if this is original. Cord has two original stickers"R. W. Ritters Laboratories. Insulated cord#C972, Belden. Also has a Bakelite plug. Lovely unsigned Handel overlay or Teroca Lamp shade. Shade is 24" diameter. Fitter opening is 5" Shade seems to have all original glass. One green panel has a repaired crack, it's hard to tell, with the overlay you don't see it at all. The last two photo's show the crack, inside& outside view. T his is a large and elegant original Bigelow Kinnard of Boston leaded glass and bronze table lamp with all its original signature parts. It dates from around 1906. This lamp has been in my immediate family since the fall of 1975 when it was purchased from a Fine Art antique shop in Chicago. About the company: The Bigelow Kennard& Co. of Boston was one of the leading merchants of Boston in the 19th and early 20th century. Selling very high-quality domestic and imported glass, silver and clocks. John Bigelow founded the firm around 1824 and was soon joined by his brothers, Alanson and Abraham Bigelow. In 1830, they were known as Bigelow Brothers. But when Martin Parry Kennard of Brookline joined the firm around 1846 the company became known as Bigelow Brothers& Kennard until 1863. Then from 1863 to 1972 it was Bigelow Kennard& ... moreCo. This Bigelow Kinnard lamp has a domical shade composed of four overlapping tiers of heart and petal-shaped. Striated and textured glass leafage shading in hue down through the four tiers. It starts at the top in emerald and ivory bands, grading into deeper emeralds, olives, ecrus, then with caramels, and ending in the last tier with touches of swirling ambers and tangerines. These tiers are above the iridescent pearly-white, elongated and relatively smooth petal-shaped glass panels which form the outer and lower edge of the"flower" it was impossible to photograph the fiery"iridescence" seen in these"petals" when the bulbs are turned on) The shade takes on ever differing hues. As you can see by the changing colors in the photographs of the shade depending upon the light source. Note. The glass used in this shade had to be precisely hand cut in order to achieve the eye-catching symmetry—unlike the florals so often seen in this genre. Which for the most part are more randomly cut. She paid a significant amount of money for it back then(more than $2000) and referred to it as a“Tiffany Type” lamp. Since I knew nothing about this lamp's origin. Tiffany Era Antique Geometric Leaded Stained Glass Floor Lamp
Local Pick-Up only in Lakewood. Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio This is an Antique Stained Glass Floor Lamp. It measures about 53 1/2 inches tall. The original shade measures 7 7/8 inches tall and is 18 3/4 inches in diameter. The lamp is for sale local pick-up only and cash upon pick-up. The Shade: The shade consists of 7 panels. Each with 71 pieces of glass, that's if I did the math correctly, there are no chips, breaks or problems with the glass. There is a small split that is shown in the photos, and that should be eventually attended to. The shade weighs a hefty 10 lbs. The Lamp: The lamp measures 53 1/2 inches tall. And retains it's original Bryant sockets, all 3 are marked"Bryant, 250W, 250V, Pat'd Nov. 25, 1907. I did rewire the base about 25 years ago and used reproduction cloth covered cord, the plug is modern. ... moreAll three lights work as does their pull chains. The bottom of the base measures about 1/2 inch thick and is about 16 inches across, and like the shade is unsigned, it appears to be bronze with an applied patina, I don't know for sure, but suspect that the base is filled with lead or someother metal to add weight, a photo is posted of the bottom. The lamp without the shade weighs about 30 Lbs. I purchased the lamp about 25 years ago from an 86 year old gentleman who was moving into an assisted living facility. He purchased a house with all its contents in 1933, and the lamp came with the house. The lamp's cord went bad in the 1960's according to Hugh, he then removed the shade and stored it, and then placed the base in a closet. The lamp does have a slight tilt to it due to laying in a closet for over 25 years, I've never attempted to straighten it out, as it never bothered me. The manufacturer is unknown to me. I assume it was a new player in the leaded stained glass business in the early part of the last century(1907- 1910) as the shade, to me anyway, looks to be over-engineered.
