This old industrial light was made by Appleton Electric Company. I think it's mad e mainly of aluminum with a glass dome lens. I really don't know much about it. But it seems like it would be a good one to convert into a regular 110 table lamp, ceiling, or wall fixture. It's pictured sitting on a roll of tape. There's a little piece on the side at the bottom that sticks down just enough to be in the way. It has 2 rivets that could be drilled out if you want to remove it. Not including that piece it measures about 12 1/2" tall. About 4 1/2" across at the bottom and nearly 9" across at it's widest point. It has scuffs. Scraches, use-wear, and some speckles of spray paint on and around the red tag. I have another one. If this one does well I may offer it to the highest bidder at the same price(high bid each) if that buyer wants a pair. It weighs around 10 lbs. unpacked. Gothic or Victorian Glass Lamp Shades You are bidding on two beautiful Gothic or Victorian looking lamp shades. These are authentic antique shades(not reproductions) that are in excellent condition. They are hand painted in brown on the unique design. The inside top of the shade is rough with what seem like chips but it is the craftsmansh i p of these old shades. They a re heavy and solid but delicate at the same time. They stand 5 1/2" high and the base diameter is 4 3/4" at the widest edge and approx 4" at the very bottom base of the shade. Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The Hall Lamp would have originally had a glass Oil Lamp font inside. That is missing but the Estate had it wired for electricity many years ago. I was told they had it hanging and working in a past home but it is has been stored away for many years. The Lamp is very much more beautiful than my photos show, the Glass Shade goes from a deep Pink color at the top to a light blush Pink color at the bottom and features a unique Polk a dot pattern that I have not seen before. The Lamp is overall in very good condition, there is some minor rim chips that are covered by the fixture but no large chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The bottom cap also shows a loss as seen in the photo but overall it displays beautifully. I have not tried it to see if it works but I am sure you would want to rewire it when you hang it in your home anyway. MASSIVE Vintage MURANO Cased Glass Hanging Lamp/Light Fixture, Billiard. Prisms
Amazing vintage Murano glass hanging light/lamp. I believe the frame is wrought iron. 3 cased glass Murano shades. 3 glass chimneys. The larger middle chimney has a Murano label on it. The frame measures 26 1/4" high and 38" wide and is quite heavy. The smaller shades measure 6 1/4" high and the bottom opening is almost 7 3/4" across. The larger middle shade is 8 1/2" high and the bottom opening is 12 1/2" across. The shades have only minor nicks along the top and bottom rims. There are also many. Many prisms that appear to be glass. Not all of them are shown hanging on the lamp. From moving the lamp around a lot of them have come off and I have them separate. If I had to guess I would say there are probably over 100 of them.
