Vintage industrial desk lamp. Features metal articulating arms. Cast iron joints, a vintage cast base, an aged brass lamp shade, and three antique cast iron valve handles. The shade, base and handles have a wonderful patina. Wiring is brand new reproduction brown twisted cloth cord and a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. The brass socket and turn key have an oil-rubbed bronze finish. The base is a heavy cast iron. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The handles at all three joints make re-positioning easier. The valve handles can easily be switched to the opposite side if preferred. I can do that for the winning bidder if requested. This is an original ca. 1920s-1930s Art Deco industrial style desk lamp. Made of chrome and milk glass with a toggle-type switch. The lamp stands approximately 11 ½” high and the base is 5” across. The antique milk glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do have straw marks from the manufacturing process. For your consideration is a signed brass FARIES flexible shaft bench lamp. The signed Faries weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 25" tall. The lamp retains an old chippy silver painted base that the brass shows through and looks great. The bare steel parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has the Faries name embossed. 1930S-1940S ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL STEAMPUNK FACTORY-OFFICE DESK LAMP WITH DOUBLE-ARMS& NOTE-PAD PLATFORM& ANTIQUE GLASS ART DECO DESIGNED SHADES. This lamp is circa 1930s1940s and has a thick square plug-see pic provided. the double-arm frame is nice with Industrial Machine-age Steampunk sockets marked"Leviton" and sockets holders with circles in them-the socket metal holders have the three original screws in each which are used to hold the shades in place(see close-up pics provided) This is a sort of factory office desk lamp as it has a platform for notepad. Pen, and paper-etc. to be placed on(see pics) with original green felt on it-the felt could be replaced by buyer to freshen up the platform/lamp with a nice navy blue felt pad-it would look lovely-I have left it as it is in original undisturbed condition for the integrity ... moreof the piece so you see that the felt is worn and aged and dusty but is very easy to place a new piece of felt of your choosing(see pics of this feature) The switch to the lamp is located on the front of the platform/base-it is slightly askew and turns on and off well, I have not tried to straighten it. The double-curved-arms and the sockets/holders have some tarnishing/wear/and oxidation to the surfaces and to the finish-the socket holders have some rusting-please see pics-some parts are metal and some parts may be brass-the rod and/or arms may be brass or metal I am unsure-please view pics. Lamp works well and takes standard bulbs or candelabra bulbs like the ones which I used in the lamp in pics-see pics. As well as at the neck and the socket. It stands 21 inches tall when fully upright. The faux marble base is 7 inches square. The base looks to have been restored at some point. All parts of this lamp are in excellent condition. The early Bryant switch works. The lamp has been rewired with a roll switch on the cord to save wear and tear on the original Bryant. This is a mid century green industrial style UFO Flying saucer desk lamp with pivoting shade. I have not seen another one exactly like it anywhere. I could not find a maker's mark anywhere but there is an"F" on the ON/OFF switch. From what I can tell it is made out of steel but I am not exactly sure of the material or the exact age. I found this in an estate sale on a workbench in an old barn along with other vintage tools and equipment. The lamp is in great condition and works as it did many years ago. Vintage Antique Industrial Machine Age Lamp Adjustable Brass Desk Piano Light
For your consideration is an antique piano lamp with a heavy slate base. The base is 6" square and the lamp is 10" wide and adjust to a total height of 17" The vintage paddle switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb is included) The lamp has cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The lamp has a loose arm on one side of the shade and therefore doesn't adjust properly. When you move it you have to reset the shade position.a little goofy but I have priced it accordingly. Offered is a Dazor articulating drafting type lamp. Model 2124. The bronze tone surface is in fair condition for its age and exhibits the great"patina" that is accepted in vintage industrial goods. There are some slight areas of surface rust that can be cleaned up a bit if you are bothered by them. This lamp simply exhibits all that you expect from an item used for decades in an industrial environment. The lamp works well and is ready to mount and use. Vintage mid century art deco industrial metal bakelite bankers desk light lamp
For sale is a metal and bakelite industrial Atlas art deco bankers desk lamp that was made sometime during the mid century or a little earlier. It is in excellent condition and measures about 11 inches high. 13 inches wide, and about 7 inches along the side. The whole light is a very dark brown(almost appearing black) color with the shade and neck of light being metal and the base being bakelite. As o can see from the pictures the shade and neck are in great shape without any dents that I could find and only very minor scratches and discolorations expected of something of this vintage. The bakelite base is free of any chips or cracks and has a place for resting pens and pencils and sections for putting clips and other office things. Incredible! Wonderful old Arts and Crafts Industrial style articulated work or desk lamp. Made from copper with two impressed decorative bands circling the shade and the base. Unsigned. I do not know who made this beauty! Good working order. I took it apart to inspect the wiring and all is fine. The switch is in working order but used. It still has some life left in it. The bulb socket is ceramic so everything should be original. The felt from the base had been removed long ago. The power cord is 40 inches long. It retains all of the original patina suited to a copper product of this age. I really want to polish this lamp but will wait and see if it sells first. This was a difficult one to explain the measurements for so I will reference the photographs. I hope you find it helpful. Vintage mid century art deco industrial metal brown bankers desk light lamp A+++
For sale is a metal brown industrial art deco bankers desk lamp that was made sometime during the mid century or a little earlier. It is in excellent condition and measures about 13 inches high(but is bendable- could be higher or lower, lamp shade is 18 inches wide. And base is 7 inches X 5-1/2 inches. The whole light is a chocolate brown color- all metal. As one can see from the pictures the shade and neck are in great shape without any dents that I could find and only very minor scratches and discolorations expected of something of this vintage. The lamp has two bulbs and works great! The shade swivels up and down. This is an excellent vintage bankers lamp. The parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and wears a newly distressed painted finish.
