I have researched the mark and I do believe it is from Sevres or Vincennes. See photos of the bottom of lamp to see the deep cobalt blue mark plus the words"modele et de'coration exclive a'la main" Which is difficult to see clearly because of the base of the lamp support. The floral design is perfect, it was fired on and then I believe glazed so it has maintained its quality. The gold is very strong on both the metal fret work at the top, the embossed gold floral vines and blossoms on the ring that the round shade rests upon is very nice, all the gold trim on the lamp base is perfect, and the scroll base remains rich with gold. I believe the lamp was made in the 1930-40 Era because of the cord with a on/off switch. One side reads"und. lab inc. list" other side reads"Levitron 6A 125 v. 3A.250 v. 3A.125 VT and works. Cord is in very good condition. Is not dry nor cracking. The bulb housing however is made for a thin base or candelabra base bulb and that area or the pit the bulb base come out of is the only part of the lamp that is discolored with dark marks and looks like there is some wear from the round shade which is held in place by a tongue dispenser like thin metal on each side that must be pinched together to get the shade in place and the reverse to remove the glass shade so the shade sets very secure on the lamp. Antique Vintage Italian Porcelain Winged Dragon Bust Hand Painted Lamp + Shade
This is an Absolutely Stunning Antique Porcelain Italian Hand-Painted Table Lamp. The lamp has two handles with winged gold gilded dragon bust figurines on it. The lamp has a capodimonte raised floral pattern on the lamp. Basic colors are green and white with gold trim. The original tag is still on the lamp and it says it was made in Italy. The lamp shade is very different and very large measuring 19" tall by 21" by across at the bottom by 11 1/2" across at the top. It is a gold filigree type lace over a metal type frame. The shade has some water stains on it. The lamp with shade stands 37" tall with shade on it. There is a fabric type rose which is pinned to the shade. This is the history that I know about the lamp. It belonged by my girl friend's great grandmother so she is guessing it is over 100 years old. This ... moreis all original. The Table Lamp measures 32" tall to the top of the finial. 12" wide across the dragons busts, with the metal base being 7" across. There are shaped openings around the neck and middle of the lamp which go completely around the lamp and are painted in gold. There is one small chip to one of the flowers but other than that I don't see any problems. The lamp is in excellent working condition. This is a True masterpiece to place in the center of Your Home Decor. These two pieces cannot be shipped in the same box as I believe the shade would be crushed in shipping. Transitional style of the upper porcelain section is reminiscent of the oil tank on a Victorian oil lamp which was common with very early electric lamps. There are a couple of scratches to the floral paint, but overall the lamp is in very good condition and the roses are still very beautiful. 1800's Oil Lamp Hand Painted Floral Design Porcelain with Duplex Oil Lamp
1800's unsure of the maker of this beautiful lamp. It has hand painted floral design like those of Germany Dresden style. It has a Duplex oil lamp fittings. It was made without a factory mark. It does have numbers on one foot of the base and it appears to be 41 with a slash after the numbers. This is a striking piece of art. 30 1/4" tall with shade. This lamp is unmarked or the mark is covered up where the pieces are attached. It was converted to electrical even though the oil container does not have leaks or damage. It does have damage. It has chipped petals on some of the flowers and some may be missing. Both of the babies have damage as well. One is missing a thumb& the fingers were glued back on. But this hand is hidden on the shoulder of the other baby. The other one was repaired on the right side. The arm& hand was ... moreglued back on. This beautiful piece can be professionally repaired. Please refer to the photos for more details. It was converted to electric many years ago. It still has all of the old electrical wiring. Plug& socket with push button switch. The oil lamp part is 16" tall and could be converted back to oil. It is a Duplex. Double wick brass oil lamp top. We filled it with water and it does not leak. It has green powder green background with a garland of hand painted flowers and beautiful hand gilded decoration. This is a wonderful unique piece. The porcelain is in good condition with only 2 crazing crack lines to the underneath running outwards from the centre and is not visible from the outside at all. The underneath is hand written Made in France with a mark which was the Samson factory and the artist gilded mark. The original wiring is in good condition with no damage. Offered is a vintage hand-painted porcelain Rosenthal table lamp. Circa 1958, in good working condition. It is marked Rosenthal Germany Kunstabteilung Selb near the base. The lamp stands 16" high, excluding the socket and harp. The painted details of a flowering tree and snowy mountains are a soft blue, grey and white. There is some gilt trim. The porcelain surface is excellent, with no chips or cracks. The metal base is in good condition. Showing some wear from polishing. The felt on the bottom is torn but present. The lamp does work, but you might consider having it rewired by a professional. A lovely hand-crafted lamp.

Antique Old Paris Porcelain Vase made into lamp blue w/hand-painted flowers, bow
True to its period of making when Neo-classical revival(end of the 18th. Beginning of the 19th centuries) was enjoyed in France, the urn shape features Etruscan goddesses, blue bow-knots, pink roses, 24kt gold leaf transfer decorations and gold leaf accents on the goddesses and as rings separating the various design sections. The blue of the solid areas is more periwinkle than cerulean of the bow-knots. The body of the lamp measures 12 3/4" in height. And 4 3/4" wide(from bustline to bustline of the goddesses) The shade is 9 1/2" tall- with an overall height of 22 1/2" from the top of the finial to the tabletop. One small smudge on the silk(shown in photo) otherwise perfect and ready to add a light bulb of your choice, plug in and adorn your night stand, bedroom dresser or dressing room. This hasn't been used in 7 ... moreyears(taken out of box for pictures, now back in box to ship) so it needs a good home! Background: I moved to Boston in 1998. And found the components of the vase in an antique shop on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. I took the part to Laura Joseph's in Ridgefield CT and had them fit it with appropriate brass mounts and wire it(more cha-ching) A lamp so pretty deserved an equally special lampshade- enter Naomi de Gavriel(then living in New Caanan CT) whose bespoke silk lampshades are eye candy! Naomi picked up the shades of blue, pink and green with ribbons and beading(each one hand sewn in place) And, the piece de resistance- a rose quartz finial. Roller switch on cord. Please use a small wattage bulbs to ensure the longevity of the silk. Over the top GIRL-Y GIRL and French designer/decorator gorgeousness! Happy to answer any questions. It is offered in as found condition with a chunk taken out of the pedestal form base, best seen in photo#6. It is signed on the base, but I cannot make it out. It has a Meissen style quality. This oil lamp measures approximately 4 1/2" tall with a base measuring approximately 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" in size. One side has a woman in a garden setting with houses in the background. The cherry red roses are line with a touch of white to make the roses stand out from the lamp. This lamp is embossed in gold in certain places. There are green, brown and purple leaves at the top of this porcelain lamp. This is a very heavy lamp. There is a handle on both sides of the lamp for secure handling. The lamp shade is white and it is not in good shape it is torn around the edge and some splits at the seam. Antique Bronze Mounted Sevres Blue Hand Painted Porcelain Banquet Lamp Gilt
This extraordinarily well painted lamp in the Sevres manner is unmarked and dates from the middle 1800s. Every freckle of the decoration is hand painted with no transfers and the genuine gold rococo-inspired borders are slightly raised. It measures 28” tall overall on its 6” square embossed brass base; 12” tall x 6” the original bronze mounted porcelain portion alone. The main portion dates from middle 1800s and formed the main portion of a banquet lamp with removable font. The cast metal has beautifully finished roses and open work with scant traces of original fire gilding and the porcelain is free of cracks and chips and undue wear to the gorgeous designs. The embossed base(with roses) and the all brass double socket array date to the 1920s when the lamp was converted to electricity. Vintage A. Beck, NY, Boudoir Lamp Floral Porcelain & Brass Hand Painted
This porcelain boudoir lamp reminds me of chintz and would look fabulous in a Shabby Chic or French Country room. It was manufactured by A. Beck. NY, probably circa 1920s-1930s, and the company name is stamped on the bottom of the brass footed base. It measures 10-1/8" to the top of the receptacle and is about 3" wide at the middle of the lamp. It is petite so would be best on a nightstand, vanity or desk. It is ivory colored with a hand painted pink. Purple, coral and green floral design with gilded accents. There is very, very slight fading to some of the flowers near the top and some of the gilding on the edging is quite worn which is common on these very old pieces. The brass has developed a heavy patina. The lamp has its original cloth cord which is completely frayed and needs to be replaced. You will most likely want to replace ... morethe receptacle as well. Antique or Vintage Capodimonte lamp. Hand painted porcelain and gilt with beautiful gold trims and embellishments. There are no cracks, chips,or damage in the porcelain! Notice the dolphin signature feet used in so many works of Italian art. This piece is reticulated and has new cord and fixture. The shade needs to be replaced by new owner. It is hallmarked inside the base(Capodimonte Italy in green) I could not get a picture of this,didn't want to take the lamp apart to do it. This was my Grandmother's lamp and I always remember her having it when visiting her as a young kid and I am 54 now, so I know it is vintage!
