Gothic or Victorian Glass Lamp Shades You are bidding on two beautiful Gothic or Victorian looking lamp shades. These are authentic antique shades(not reproductions) that are in excellent condition. They are hand painted in brown on the unique design. The inside top of the shade is rough with what seem like chips but it is the craftsmansh i p of these old shades. They a re heavy and solid but delicate at the same time. They stand 5 1/2" high and the base diameter is 4 3/4" at the widest edge and approx 4" at the very bottom base of the shade. Pair hand painted flower motif white cased glass Czech glass lamps 1930's work! a very pretty pair of circa 1930's stamped"Made in Czechoslovakia" white cased glass lamps. The flower motif is entirely hand painted and as you see the quality is quite nice. I've posted entirely too many pictures to this listing.But I wanted to show all the details that I could. Each lamp measures 11 1/2" total or about 8 3/4" when only measuring the visible part of the glass. There is no damage to make note of and both lamps do work. As you see they have the original wiring but it appears to be in very good condition. I will leave the decision to have them rewired up to the buyers discretion. The slag glass paint has not faded. The base has 3 slag glass panels. All of the panels fit securely on the lamp. The gold coloring cast iron(I believe is cast iron) has started to fade in some places. We believe the lamp was made by Pittsburgh. The lamp shade measure's 18" in width and 7" in height. The base measure's 7-1/2" The total height of the lamp is 23" One of the clips that hold a slag panel in on the shade is missing. I believe hand painted flower table lamp in great shape with no damage noticed! this lamp is unmarked as jefferson used paper labels and most fell off or were removed when purchased as jefferson put them on the side of lamps instead of bottoms as most other companies did. Jefferson glass went out of business i believe in 1933. So this lamp could be 80 yrs old! The lamp stands 14 3/4" tall to top of socket. and base is 4" wide. A very pretty lamp. 1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. Vintage BRISTOL Glass Oil Lamp LEIPZIG H.S. Hand Painted Flowers This is an older tall oil lamp that was bought in an antique shop in the early 1970's. It is mostly glass with a brass burner. It is a very light jade green opaque white with hand painted flowers in orange and blues with green leaves. The maker's name is imprinted on the flame adjustment knob. The lamp was made in two parts and fused together. The top part is the fuel cell and the base is hollow. The bottom has a hole from the manufacturing process. The lamp appears to work and the adjustment knob is difficult to turn. But works fine when the wick is removed, so may not be the right sized wick. The chimney is missing, other wise is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or breaks. A very nice older piece that would look great on any mantle or in any collection. Lamp comes complete with the chimney and octagon shaped upper globe as pictured. The Model 23 burner has been electrified. Burner was altered for the conversion but font tank remains unchanged. With a new burner this lamp could easily be changed back to oil if desired. Glass parts are in great condition with no chips or cracks. The shade ends are rough cut. Exquisite Antique Hanging Glass Lamp w/Hand-Painted Violets, Robin's Egg Blue
This listing is for the most beautiful little hanging lamp made of frosted satin glass. White with 2 hand-painted bands of robin's egg blue and a central motif of deep blue violets with little peach-colored flowers and green leaves. The turnkey is in an Art Deco style, and this lamp dates from probably the 1920s to early 1940s. The central floral motif is repeated on 3 sides, and each side has just a tad of wear as on the side shown. The twisted rayon cord and plug are in excellent shape. The lamp is shown turned on with a 40-watt bulb, and it's absolutely exquisite with the soft light shining through the frosted glass. It measures 6-1/2" tall to the top of the hardware where the cord comes out and 4-1/4" diameter at the bell of the shade, perfect for hanging in a corner or above a dressing table. The turnkey has a good"snap" ... moreto it. It's in very good condition, having only several tiny nicks on the inner edges of the glass rims but nothing that shows. This is a very pretty vintage lamp that I bought at an Estate Auction so I don't know the history of it. It is hand painted with a violet design. It works! I've never seen an electrical cord like this before. It seems to have a cloth over rubber cord that is in 2 different cords. It's attached at the socket section. I believe the base is made of iron( The base is numbered either 19(or 61 upside down) See pictures. It measures 11 1/2" tall to where the light bulb goes in and 6" at the widest glass section. Up for auction is a pair of antique. Hand-painted, opal glass lamps, signed Peerl, that I recently purchased from an estate. The opal glass and painted images are in excellent condition. They stand approximately 23 inches from the base to the top of the bulb socket, and 31 inches from the base to the top of the harp. The base is approximately 7 inches across and the collar 2-1/2 inches across. I don't know their actual age or if either of the finials are original to the lamps. I also don't know the age of the wiring, but both lamps work(bulbs not included) As shown in the photos the metal base and metal rings/collars are tarnished with some pitting. This auction is for a GWTW style oil lamp shade globe with a 6-3/4 inch fitter. The lamp is milk glass painted a irridescent green on top and below a floral design with the natural milk glass white as the background for the flowers. It is approximately 9 inches in diameter with a ruffled top measuring 5-1/2 inches in diameter. See photos for dark stain or spot. It may come off. But I have not attempted to clean it with anything other than water. The shade will be double boxed to ensure safe arrival which adds a bit to the weight and size for shipping costs. GWTW Antique Glass Lamp Shade Globe Hand Painted signed Ruffled Top
Beautiful. Impressive, hand-painted and signed large 10” diameter globe for an antique lamp you want to restore to former glory. Big enough for a parlor lamp. This globe glass lamp shade stands 10 inches tall to the top of the ruffled edge, has a 4 1/8 outside diameter opening at the base and a 4 inch ruffled opening at the top where the glass chimney would come through. The hand-painted design boasts a beautiful salmon colored rose(with rose bud) and a beautiful yellow rose(with rose buds) on the front and a lovely red rose bud on the back.
