This Antique Gone With The Wind Handpainted Lamp Base is Embossed around the bottom and has great Floral Design. The colors are very soft and pleasing. The Oil or Kerosene Eagle# 2 Burner does have a wick. The Wick Turner is marked: P& A MFG. CO. WATERBURY. CONN. The Chimney, not an antique, is White and Clear glass, has some wear marks around the bottom and works well with the Base. The Base measures 5 1/2" to top of Brass Collar, 7" at widest part and 14 1/2" tall overall with the Burner& Chimney. Condition is very good with no chips. No cracks. Rare 1890's Gone with the Wind Banquet Lamp. This is a very hard to find shape of Jumbo Parlor Lamp with matching shade& base. It has the double duplex burner turners. This lamp has amazing metal work. The bottom"Bun" Feet are very store and decorative. The glass is all hand painted and finished with beautiful Leaves& stems with little trails of vines. The shade is a full size large piece. The bottom is a wonderful bulbous shape. The lamp stands 27" tall to the top of the chimney. The base is 17" tall on its own. The shade stands 11" tall and is 10" aprox in dia. There are not chips, cracks or repairs to the glass. Some normal flea bits on the edge of the shade, but not seen. We mention for accuracy, but the shade edge is remarkable as well as the rest of the lamp for its odd large size and age. The ... morelamp has been electrified. Long ago someone put a switch off to the side of the tank. We have left the lamp in"As Found" condition. It has not yet been restored. The cord is an old one. And we will wait to see if the lamp sells in this round before we seek out a restoration. That way the new owner can decide weather to update the electric or put it back to full oil use. The stems are marked Duplex( see pictures) The bottom frame is very sturdy and a bit heavy. I bought this lamp from an estate dealer. It came from an estate of a home in upstate New York. It is from the late 1800's- well over 100 years old. It is in very good condition. I have used it a bit and as you can see it lights up very well. I turned down the lights and lit the oil lamp so you can see how much light it throw out in the last three pictures. In the last three pictures I turned the lights out and it really illuminates well. The lamp to the top of it's chimney is 19" and about 6 1/2" at the widest part of the red globe. great lamp!

The top globe has a repair to the bottom rim area, a broken piece was glued. The good thing about this crack is that it cannot go any further, it started at the rim and circled back out to the rim, shown in photo. Beautiful green color, hand painted, was my favorite for years. Also has some chipping to bottom rim. No chimney. A little wear to paint, nothing major. Top light and switch works well. Highlighted with sprays of roses and greenery and roses. The lamp has never been converted although someone thought about it at some point in time. There is a hole drilled in the decorative base just large enough for an on off switch. The oil tank is still un drilled in the lamp and still has it wick. The top lamp shade has a very small hairline crack at the base where it sits in the fitter end, see last picture in description. Very hard to spot unless you are looking for it. Antique Consolidated Lions Head Oil Lamp Safari Gone With The Wind Electrified
This auction is for a nice example of the popular Safari Series lamp by Consolidated Glass. This is a Gone With The Wind style banquet lamp with matching shade and base. As you can see. This one is unusual because the scenes on the top are hand-painted instead of stenciled. The scenes on the base are stenciled, so it is possible that the top shade was originally a blank of the same color and mold that was painted to match. The lamp is altogether in very good condition though it has been electrified. It has good color, the stencil on the base are still crisp and clean, and the underside of the base is stamped 307. The only damage is a few small chips to the rim of the shade where it fits into the brass collar of the base, and these are not visible when the lamp is assembled. Very nice original antique GWTW parlor oil lamp that has an older electric conversion. Beautiful roses painted on the glass base and globe on a green and brown base background. Measures about 22 inches tall to the top of the hand-painted globe. And about 23 1/2 inches tall to the top of the glass chimney. There are no chips or cracks to the base or top globe, with possibly very few very minor chips on the bottom of the top globe. There does not appear to be any paint loss. The chimney is etched with a two-headed bird and the words'CALCIUM FLINT' near the top, as shown in photo# 6. The burner knob is marked'MADE IN U. S. OF AMERICA' as shown in photo# 9. No other exterior markings were found. There is a new power cord attached to the bulb housing inside the bottom glass section of the lamp, and wiring appears to go the main ... morebulb at the top of the lamp, but bulbs did not light up when connected. I do not know what the problem is, but it surely must be easy to fix. All in all, a beautiful original damage-free example with an older electric conversion. BEAUTIFUL UEBERLAND UND MEER ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED OIL LAMP WONDERFUL WORKING CONDITION Note: This beautiful lamp was purchased thru an estate auction and I know very little about the origin of the lamp. I wasn't able to find other Ueberland und Meer lamps and assume they are rare findings. This lamp was beautifully hand painted in a floral design and the Globe. Glass Filler Tank and Base are Original Matching Pieces. There are no cracks, crazing or other damage and in great working condition. The chimney isn't original and isn't the proper chimney for the lamp. The chimney actually sits over the globe holder instead of inside. But functions just as well and by looking you would never know.

VICTORIAN GONE WITH THE WIND OIL KEROSENE PARLOR LAMP CONVERTED TO ELECTRIC in great working condition. I found this lamp at an estate sale near Lexington. Kentucky. This oil lamp has been converted to electric. The socket is where the burner used to be and the electrical cord runs out from it right underneath. They did not disturb the glass bottom part of the lamp when they converted it. The bottom is decorated with pink flowers and is trimmed in light green. The upper shade is not original to the lamp. It is a white frosted shade. The lamp is 18 3/4 inches tall to the top of the chimney. The frosted white shade is 7 1/4 inches high and has a 10 inch fitter base. The clear glass chinmey is 10 inches high and has a 3" fitter base. This would be a nice lamp for your home. Antique Victorian banquet parlor gone with the wind lamp.The lamp is just under 22 inches in height to the top of the chimney. The top shade is approx. 10 inches in width. The bottom shade is approx. 7 1/2 inches in width. The floral design is hand painted. There is some wear to the painted shades. Nothing bad that would distract from the beauty of this lamp. Please check all pics. As they best describe the condition. Nothing was altered in the base when the lamp was electrified. The burner was altered, but it would be a easy fix to convert back to oil. GWTW Bradley Hubbard Gone With The Wind Electrified Converted Oil Kerosene Lamp
Up for auction is a beautiful antique Bradley& Hubbard original Gone with the Wind style Victorian hand painted glass lamp with an ornate brass base and burner. It was originally made as an oil/kerosene lamp. But had since been electrified many years ago. It is a very large lamp with a 14" chimney included, and measuring a full 32" in height. The glass has no chips or damage. The lamp is missing one of the four clips on the burner that holds the chimney snugly in place. This small piece can be easily and inexpensively replaced, if you so choose. I hate to part with this lamp, but I don't have the room to keep all my wonderful estate finds! ANTIQUE Gone With The Wind Oil Lamp Red Satin Glass in the Artichoke Pattern Made by the Pittsburgh Lamp Co. 1895-1910 24" Tall w/Globe Diameter 10" I believe the parts are original. The tank may be a replacement but from the period. Has the heat ring on the top shade. The oil tank has a repair underneath as can be seen in an image it was soldered at some point& painted a matching brass/gold color. Description: Metal base has 4 paw feet w/ golden images of women above them. Above the base is the artichoke pattern red satin glass base shade. The collar that the oil tank fits into has a floral pattern on it. The oil tank is a traditional one and the flame spreader moves freely. Tank is marked"THE MILLER LAMP MADE IN U.S.A. The cap on the oil tank is marked"MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" The Flame spreader is ... morea B&H one. The Shade is a rich red matching the base glass in the artichoke pattern and fits on the ring. The Lamp is well balanced with no wobbling. Condition: Over-all Excellent. I am mentioning the following but it truly is insignificant! A few flea bites on the shade rim that fits on the shade ring nothing major& doesn't show when shade is on the ring. Two 1/32" rubs on the satin glass shade. Probably from being against a wall, both in the same area. Over-all the satin glass on the base and the shade is fantastic with no scratches or lines. Under the collar where the base attaches is a 1/4" nick of glass that I never noticed in the years I've had this, it can't be seen unless the lamp is turned upside down because the collar that holds the tank fits over it. I would suggest the new owner get a new shade ring for the shade as this one does not fit as tight as it should(these naturally wear out over time from being moved) As stated earlier the tank base was repaired at some point. The beauty stand tall at apprx 17 1/2" high and almost 7" at her widest bulbous point. This is all original and just needs a lovely glass flute top. The oil knob displays SUCCESS. The lower and upper necks are brass. The lower and upper bases may be brass over base metal. The lamp may need to be rewired. The hand painted floral globe is gorgeous with a graduating base painting from golden warm sun color to the green ground on the main part of the lamp. The roses are absolutely gorgeous. Lovely condition with some patina on the brass part. Will need some cleaning but should clean up nicely for a beautiful display. This lamp does work. This was an estate sale purchase and I have another one I will be listed that looks to be it's mate but in reality is a bit different in size but just a bit so you may want to check out my other ... morelistings. There are two(2) sockets in this lamp ~ one in the upper section top and one in the bottom as well with a LEVITON switch mounted in the fancy metal base. Obviously it was wired for electricity a long time ago. The font and fittings are brass. The fancy scrollwork base appears to be brass over base metal probably iron and is marked as described. As this item has been stored away for decades. It will need a thorough cleaning and rewiring. The decorative glass globes appear to be all original and matching. It is hard to know ... morethe if the clear glass chimney is original to the piece but it is the one that was packed away with the other pieces so I am assuming it is.
