Circa first quarter of the 20th century, though it looks like it was rewired since its creation. The base is cast iron gilt and bronzed, paw footed. It has six bent/bowed glass panels held in place with bronze open relief dividers and ring. We did not see a signature on it though it has many of the attributes of Miller slag glass lamps. Only one of the two sockets works, but oh so gorgeous! It measures approx. 25" tall, the shade is 16" across and 8" tall. WONDERFUL! Pair original Antique leaded slag glass lamps ornate base victorian Art Nouveau
This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall. Offered is a 35 years plus vintage early bent slag glass lamp shade and brass end table lamp. The shade is comprised of four panels of caramel colored bent slag glass. Mounted within a metal filigree shade. The shade sits on a solid brass base. The base is weighted with cast iron. The original glass panels are in good. Un-chipped condition.The meal filigree shade is in good, un-bent condition.The brass base is in good condition see photos. Up for Sale is a Vintage hand painted porcelain lamp with brass base& green ornate glass. There is a signature on the porcelain section. But it is hard to tell the spelling. The best I can make out is Plux. You can tell the light socket part is new& the plug at the end of the cord is new. It is in excellent shape and a beautiful lamp. Only the felt on the base is ripped and has a 1-¼ x 2-¼ piece tore out. Thought about keep it for myself. I will not ship with a light. All descriptions given are our honest opinion. Antique Ornate LARGE 12 Panel Slag Glass Lamp Miller/Royal/B&H/Pittsburg ERA
This is for a Beautiful Ornate Antique 12 Panel Slag Glass Lamp. The lamp has been professionally restored and rewired. The cord is period cloth covered. The sockets are original Arrow Sockets and work well. The 12 original glass panels are all without chips. cracks or repairs. The side curved panels are a combination of tones from blue to lavender. The"tree trunk" type base appears to be spelter or a bronze/brass type metal. As a magnet will not stick anywhere. The unsigned base is numbered, without name, but looks just like several Miller bases I have had in the past. All tabs are present. The frame is solid without splits(there are some solid repairs to the frame) The ornate fillagree is all present. This LARGE lamp stands just under 24 inches tall, the shade is 18 1/2 inches in diameter and 7 inches deep. This is a VERY HEAVY ... morelamp at almost 20 pounds! Overall. a beautiful. There are glass prisms around each. They still have the wires in them but were not in use when we got them. Not sure the exact age. Antique Handel Era Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Ornate Floral Base & Original Shade
Here's an extremely ornate and beautiful circa early 1920s floral base and slag shade lamp. This is absolutely stunning and is all original as I purchased the lamp 25+ years ago. The original lamp hardware was made by Beaver and patented oct 11 1921. The lamp is unmarked other than a stamped G on the bottom of the base. I believe the shade and base used to be painted as there's some beautiful yellow. Green and blue paint still adorning some of the flowers throughout the base and shade. The top acorn like finial also has some original greenish-blue paint. This is one of the heaviest lamps I've ever owned and weighs roughly 20.5 lbs. The fire slag has beautiful reds, oranges and amber color and is absolutely stunning in the natural light. The solid base is wondrous and has some extremely ornate detail. The base itself is not magnetic. ... moreI am not sure if its painted brass or bronze, but it's gold gilt in color. It could even be pot metal, however it is way to heavy in my opinion to be pot metal. The base is covered in leaves and flowers, that still have some of the original green and blue paint and is just easy on the eyes. Lamp measures roughly 24" tall from bottom of base to top of ornate finial. The shade itself measures roughly 18" wide and the base of lamp is roughly 7.5" wide. There's one small break in the ornate floral design adorning the shade as seen in the last picture. Overall this lamp is absolutely superb and in excellent working condition. HELLO and thanks for looking. Here is a very old CARRIAGE style light. This is an electric light and I'm not sure if it was converted from kerosene or not. By the age of it it may well have been gas operated but I'll leave that up to you professionals to decide. Pretty sure it is copper or copper with something else. GLASS: Etched pieces. BLUE GREEN RED YELLOW. I think the slender YELLOW piece may be a replacement as it has a rough texture and all the other glass is smooth. The top is made to have an additional piece screwed on to it it appears and a very crude opening has been made in it as shows in the picture. Stands about 12 1/2" high. The top part is about 6 1/4" square and tapers down to about 5 1/2" The smaller glass pieces are surrounded by VERY ornate metalwork! I can't explain how nice this must have been ... morein its day and probably can't make the pictures show how spectacular this light is. Someone is going to have a very nice display lamp. The little door is spring loaded and works great. I cleaned it up some but there is much more cleaning needed to get into top condition. This is a very nice antique/vintage brass desl lamp.The lantern is a lovely art noveau design. the sculptured brass has openings for the light bulb to shine through the textured glass.The top of the lantern is about 7 inches square.The lantern is 14 inches from top to bottom. The gooseneck is 36 inches from the lantern to the top ofr te base.Their is a well just before the base which appears to be missing something. I had a brass bowl that I inserted ad it looks like it belngs there.This is a rare vintage/antique desk lamp.The off and on switch is on the base which has an art nouvea design.he base is35 inches in diameter ande the electrical cord is about 40 inches long. It has stood for over a hundred years in a Minneapolis mansion as a newel post lamp at the foot of the main staircase. It truly is from the gas light era and is indeed a gas lamp. Bradley Hubbard H&B Ornate Trophy Parlor Lamp Electrified Slag Glass Shade
We found this old lamp at an estate sale. The base has been electrified and is in working condition. The H&B mark is on the cap of the oil tank. The base stands 13 ¼” high to the top of the socket. Light bulb is NOT included. With the shade on. The lamp is 19” high. The shade alone measures approximately 7 ½” wide x 17” wide. I really don’t know anything about lamps of this type but here is what I can tell you: The bottom base of the lamp is not brass. The rest of the metal. Including the handles appears to be brass(a magnet does not stick to it) There are some finish issues to the metal. The reddish brown part of the base is a little‘dull’ looking but other than that. It is in very good vintage condition. There are 3 cracks in the long green slag glass pieces– 2 are near the top. Close to the crown. 1 is just a tiny corner ... morecrack and the other goes all the way across. The other is at the bottom point. None are very noticeable and they are just a couple panels apart so could be put towards the back. Other than that. The shade is in very good vintage condition. The shade is adorned with roses. Bows, flowers and other designs. The base is cast spelter metal. Equally ornate. This lamp has been rewired with reproduction cloth cord. 18 guage black twisted pair. The original cloth cord was trashed. The original plug has been retained. I think this lamp is from the late 1930's or 1940's. Very good condition. One crack in the slag glass which is on the croen of the shade. I made a picture but it's really difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. The lamp stands 27 inches tall. Antique Table Lamp 1920's Slag Glass Amber Cream Ornate Metal Frame
For your consideration. This absolutely stunning slag glass antique lamp is circa 1920's and stands 24" tall to the top of the finial. The shade diameter at the bottom is 20.5" The lamp body is a very ornate metal with hand-painted color details on gold. The base is 8.25" in diameter. I'm sure this was rewired at some time in the past, as this is obviously not a 20's cord and plug. None of the slag glass is cracked or repaired. The inside surface of two panels(next to each other) have some dried residue like old adhesive on them. This is not visible from the outside when the light is on or off. I did successfully pick a piece of it off with my fingernail. So I'm sure it can be carefully removed. The pattern of the lamp shade frame is exquisitely detailed, and the glass has such a beautiful comforting glow. This ... moreis a two-bulb lamp. Each on its own pull chain. It is shown illuminated with 100- and a 60-watt bulbs in it. I could find no marking on this lamp anywhere. Total weight is just over 17 lbs. I have more pictures if needed. WOW!! Antique Ornate Chrome Torchiere Floor Lamp w/ Onyx Base & Glass over Stem
This is a fantastic antique torchiere floor lamp with many hard-to-find details; ornate baroque cut-out design top and base. Chip and crack-free beautifully marbled onyx over base, a full 3 feet of ribbed crystal clear fluted glass over the stem, and original chrome finish on metal pieces. The original large mogul(three-way) socket is intact and needs re-wiring, but I will leave that to the buyer because the lamp will be completely disassembled for shipping and the old wire will need to be removed to separate all the lamp pieces. I will label each piece in order of position on the stem for easy reassembly. The condition is very good. But there are a few minor flaws; the chrome finish on the base is worn and has some shallow pitting(shown in the photos) but the finish on rest of the pieces looks good with light spottiness. The glass pieces ... moreare all in very good condition with some possible shallow chipping and staining on tops and bottoms where they fit into brass caps. There are no cracks or other damage. The onyx on the base looks excellent. The lamp measures 60" H x 12" W at the base. And the opening in the top of the lamp for the bottom of a shade to fit into measures 3" W. A shade is not included. All pieces will be wrapped well and insured during shipping.
