13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some etching on it. There are 2 cracks in the glass font. Her lamp remains ready to be used. It has bubbles and seams in the glass indicating that it was blown into a mold. Above the glass foot are many stars and ovals impressed into the glass in a wonderful design to the round body of the piece. This beautiful lamp measures almost 5 inches in diameter and stands 13 ½ inches tall. Beautiful art glass oil lamp. Unsigned. Believed to be french from 1910-1920's. I found a picture of a piece of Legras in one of my books that is very similar but I can't say for sure. Wide& heavy base measures 9 1/2" wide by x 5 3/4" tall to threads. With burner it measures 8" tall.The burner was converted to electric. Knob is missing. Burner probably need to be replaced. I bought it because of the glass. Glass is a beautiful sea foam or bluish-green color. Gold enameling accents the the top& bottom of the base. No chips or cracks. The glass does has a dark mark that measures 2" long at the base(see last 2 pics) I have made no attempt to remove it. Not noticeable from the front. No chips or cracks. Victorian Duplex Burner Kerosene Oil Lamp C. 1880-90 ORIGINAL PERIOD LAMP. NOT A REPRODUCTION. The font is mold blown cased glass. Clear over blue. The clear surface is delicately wheel cut in a lace like pattern. The third photo shows the truest color) The font is mounted with a brass collar and tapered support that are cemented on. The lamp's base is brass with a iron under plate. The duplex burner's knobs are embossed with a globe emblem. The Fenton blown opaline coin dot glass shade is old, whether it is original to the base is unknowable but they have been together for some time. I have worked on antique lamps for over thirty years. I have not seen a similar font before. CONDITION: Surprisingly good. The font has not been drilled and has no problems. The brass elements have darkened with age and can be polished as brightly as ... moreyou desire. There is surface rust on the iron under plate. The burner was gutted when it was electrified. The rowels that move the wicks are still in place. A section of the gallery that holds the chimney in place is missing. The chimney still fits tightly. The chimney is not as old as the lamp(few are) and has chips on its bottom and top edges. The shade, no cracks, it has chips on the inner surface of its fitter opening, these may have occurred when the shade was made and the fitter lip was ground, and again, chips on the inner edge of its top opening, these are from use. Such chips are typical on old shades. Dimensions: 24 1/2" tall with the chimney in place. The lamp. To the font collar, 11 1/4" tall. Font, 6" maximum diameter. Foot, 7" diameter. Shade, 4" fitter, 7" maximum diameter. The entire lamp weighs, 8 pounds, 6 ounces. It will be disassembled when packed. An early and very handsome kerosene lamp with a most unusual cased& cut glass font. Take a good look at the photos. They constitute the remainder of our description. This is an antique. Victorian, red,art glass lamp produced by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. The lamp is a reconverted kerosene/ oil lamp that has been electrified. The lamp's pattern is Imperial and also can be called Diamondrape or Victoria.The red(cerise) satin finished lamp was produced in the 1890's through the early 1900's.The lamp is about 15" tall(glass and base) with a footedbase that is brass plated with the splter(zinc) finish. The base is a 7" square. If you want the shade I have used with the lamp, I would send that also but in another box. This lamp belonged to my mother's best friends's mother. My mother and her friend would be close to 100 if they were alive today. I was given this lamp about 40 years ago. 1800's Antique Cranberry BUBBLE Blown Glass Miniature Mini Oil Kerosene Lamp c.
Greetings. We are very pleased to offer this STUNNING antique glass mini oil lamp in amazing near mint condition. I am unsure of the maker. But it came from an antique store storage, and still had a $295 price tag on it from over 35 years ago. The tag said"Antique Blown Molded glass oil lamp- Nailsea? with the question mark, so I leave it up to better eyes than myself to decide if the antique store was correct. I will however be asking close to the same price they asked in 1978. Please see the detailed pics- I hope they do the color and condition justice. The lamp. Burner and glass shade/hurricane are all included as shown in pics. The lamp and burner appear to be original, but it is unknown if the hurricane shade is original. As shown from the bottom of the lamp. The colors swirl in"bubble swirls" around the lamp. The glass ... morethickness varies, and is embossed with swirls on the outer surface and molded leaf crown around the bottom. the colors range from almost white, to almost dark cranberry. The effect of the color is almost like veins. I hope the pics do it justice. It is quite beautiful, and almost perfect in every way. Definitely a prized collectors piece. And most likely from the Art Nouveau or aesthetics movement era due to the floral leafy swirly decor. Decoration: the glass color and design is exquisite. It was much quicker and less expensive for retailers to supply these lamps with domestically made glass shades. This shade is in an excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. RARE Antique Glass Brass & Cast Iron Oil Kerosene Lamp. Wavy Blue Art Glass
Hi. Up for grabs here is a stunning oil Kerosene lamp base. This is a deep blue glass(darker than the pic shows) Brass and cast iron base. The condition is superb, the only issues are a mild bruise on the top lip of the glass on the inside of the brass ring(see pic)some surface rust on the cast iron base and some spotting on the lower brass ring. Everything else is beautiful. This is about 8 1/4 inches tall, the base is 6 1/2 inches in diameter and the glass is about 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Very beautiful piece and much potential.
