NO RESERVE! Very fine and very well made hanging light fixture circa 1930s and possibly French in origin. Unmarked that we could find. We have also been told that the lamp could be Italian or even Spanish. What is certain is that the lamp is one beautiful piece of functional art! It is comprised of bronze, painted white cast metal, brass and a woven basket of wire forming the inner portion. Attached to the wire frame are numerous mold-blown multi-colored glass flowers and all are accounted for. They each glow nicely once illuminated and you can add a dimmer switch for a softer mood lighting effect. The overall condition is very good and the lamp is ready for use. The long ceiling chain is not included but a brass ceiling cap will be included with the lamp. The lamp accepts 3 standard size bulbs up to 150 watts each. Rare Vintage 5 Arm Hobnail Milk Glass Chandelier
Rare vintage 5 arm hobnail milk glass chandelier. This is a beautiful peice to add to anyone's home. This peice is from the 1930's. All of the shades are in good condition. There are rough spots where the shades sit on the chadelier but nothing that is visible when assembled. The chandelier is complete with a brass chain that could use a little attention due to the age. The plastic peice around where the bulb is screwed in on one of the arms is broken off a little. Not visable with shade in place and it will not interfere with function. I am unsure if the wiring is still good but it would be a reletively easy and uncostly project. I have tried to photograph all flaws. Please refer to the photo's above. If more photos are needed. OLD VINTAGE ITALIAN FRENCH MISSION BENT STAINED GLASS LANTERN CHANDELIER LAMP
We are pleased to offer this exquisite. AUTHENTIC, Mid Century, older vintage Italian chandelier lamp. This stunning lantern fixture features an ornate, heavily gilded iron and brass frame which is paired with frosted, bent and stained glass. The lamp in unique and has characteristics of French, Italian and Spanish Mission. The frame has 4 opened panels with a Mission style, scrolled iron design. These panels alternate with 4 glass panels(total of 8 panels) The glass is frosted. It is bent and curves inward at the center(concave) Each glass panel is highlighted with a delicate and intricate stained pattern. The stained pattern is an ornately scrolled design and pairs beautifully with the scrolled iron, open panels. Each stained glass panel is framed with a gilded acanthus leaf border on the top and bottom and faux twist"rope" on ... moreeach side. The top and bottom of the fixture continue with the same design of the opened panels. The iron scrolls and curves at each section. Inside, the fixture houses 4 candelabra lights(25 watt each) These, too, are ornate with gilded bobeches and white to gold drip wax style candle sleeves. The fixture retains the original metal"Made in Italy" tag on the upper section of the frame. This was(is) originally a hanging lamp but the fixture could very easily be converted to a chandelier. There is an on/off switch located on the bottom of the fixture. The lamp is in very good condition with very little signs of age or use. The glass is good, no chips, cracks, etc. The wiring is vintage but in very good condition. There are several feet of chain and wire included with the lamp. BEAUTIFUL LAMP AND EXTREMELY NICE QUALITY. Amazing lamp. Works great. Recently taken down. One minor repair needs to be done. I took a picture of it. One little part on the edge trim needs to be either glued or soldered again. I was thinking JB Weld from the hardware store would work as well. Its just a little spot that some epoxy and a small clamp would fix it in no time. The colors of the of the flowers and leaves are NOT faded and the lamp is beautiful. It stands 16 inches tall and measures 22 1/2 inches across at the bottom. The lamp has two sockets and it works great. It is sometimes described as a slag lamp. You are bidding on a very beautiful hanging light fixture. I bought this fixture in an Estate sale.This is all glass and some kind of metal but the very top of it is ceramic or porcelain. It has No rust or tarnish places on it. The glass is still in GREAT condition.The glass is beveled. There is a hair line crack in one of the panes which can easily be replaced. This lamp has 6 candle style holders and then the one in the middle to hold a large light bulb.So it has all together 7 places to put a light bulb.It comes with the original chain that holds from the ceiling. It can be refinished but the finish on it is very beautiful already. Its white with the shabby chic look to it. From the top to the bottom hanging part it is about 25" tall. And if you measure the round part it is 70" round. It has no markings that I can find so I do ... morenot know the maker. The pictures does this piece no justice. Up for bid a beautiful Antique Chandelier/Fixture Arts& Crafts/Mission Style it is 23in D and 19.5 to the upper part of the petals the rim on top is 6.5in it comes with a plate and chain. The fixture has very rich colors like green. Aqua, yellow, dark blue and it has embedded embossed look like parts of glass or it could be rocks very rare and it is very heavy works great and it does have very fine cracks in two or three panels some can't be seen from outside only inside or could be scratches it's very heavy if I find any marks I will let you know.
