Very a ppealing Barsony black lady lamp.Marked on the base F L41.Depicted play ing her drum.And extensively decorated with bright painted colours.And in excellent working and cosmetic condition.Stands approx 360mm tall, the light socket is fitted to the rear which casts a nice glow at night.Has no cracks or chips- the only flaw being a few tiny areas of missing green paint on the very edge of the left side( last photo) which is almost impossible to notice.All other painted decoration is near perfect.The paste pearl teardrop ear rings have decomposed and been replaced with vintage crystal teardrops which are the same si ze and shape. Antique Chinese Mudman Hand Made Pottery Figurine LAMP: Old Man w Hat& Basket Up for sale is a handsome. Antique Chinese mudman/ mud man hand made pottery figurine lamp. The lamp as shown is 11.75" tall. The figurine is 6.75" tall. The only missing piece is the tip of his thumb. There's a good repair to his ankle that is planted and the side of his hat in the photos. I did a temporary glue repair to his the calf of his crossed leg as in the photo I just used Elmer's glue that can easily be cleaned off and repaired correctly. Because of the pressure point this will have in bubble wrapping for mailing I may unattach the leg and wrap it separately for protection. Otherwise there's just a little nick in the glaze on the collar. He's got a basket by his side. His clothing and hair are glazed-his skin is bisque. The ... morewood base of the lamp has a missing leg so it needs a piece added there to balance the base. The lamp looks like it might work but to be honest I'd repair it as I have a fear of old wiring and I do not want to plug it in to try it. So this piece needs a little work but the pay off would be a really lovely piece. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be many decades old-likely early 20th century. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. Up for auction is a Vintage Pre-40s Art Nouveau Nude Woman Figurine Bronze Lamp with Globe Shade. This is a beautiful piece. There is no damage whatsoever to this lamp. I have tested it and it works with no issue. The Globe Shade is not damaged as well. There is some discoloration around the base of the globe but I think it is from it setting on the bronze. A little rubbing compound should remove the staining. It is slight. I was unable to establish the origin of this lamp, and I am a very good researcher. At the base of the lamp there is the word Moonlight. I have found another lamp with an identical globe and words written at the base similar to this lamp. However, the origin of the lamps eludes the other seller as well. What is a fact is that it is pre-1940. The cord is an easy indicator as well as the design of the lamp. Antique French Art Nouveau lady figurine lamp and mirror vintage old
Up for auction is an absolute beautiful Art Nouveau cast lady lamp with mirror. Does not have the original shade and electrical cord. I am a collector of the arts and crafts movement and picked up this piece about 20 years ago at an estate sale and am ready to depart from her. The cord has a break in it(see photo) but it worked up until the break just recently. The glass shade looks like it was replaced at one time but it is the original shade when I purchased it 20 yrs ago. The lamp has a wonderful patina to her and she might be bronze but more than likley a casted piece. She does weight over 15 lbs. I really don't know if she is caste bronze. The skirt part of her dress is also caught in motion. With the porcelain piece shaped to look as though it is raised on both sides, revealing a peach colored lining/slip. She is also sporting black shoes. The skirt has a textured white flower garland like design on the front with an oversized tied bow on the upper left side. The handpainted pink skirt also has gold leaf painted details. Vintage France Pewter Lady Figurine Lamp Base
Here is a vintage figural lamp base. I believe the figural woman piece is pewter but am not certain. The woman alone stands about 13" high and has scant remnants of old paint. She looks pewter. But this piece is not very heavy, and it appears she may be hollow. The lamp weighs about 3 lbs. The very base of the lamp is some type of light iron and is magnetic. The figural piece is separated from the base but I can clearly see they go together because they fit perfectly. This piece is clearly marked FRANCE on the back bottom portion of the women. There is one section on the back, above the France mark, that appears to be patched in some way- just not sure if that would be by design or not. I can send any additional photos that you request. It has a pedestal on the side that would have held some kind of shade and I believe it would have been a Millefiori style, but that has since gone missing. I am guessing this Lamp to be from the 1930's. This gorgeous Lamp has a pink shade and stands approximately 17 1/2" tall. It is approximately 11" deep from the outer edge of the arm to the far edge of the shade. This Lamp features a lovely Dancing Lady Figurine with a long. Flowing dress and a wide-brimmed Victorian hat! She has what I'm pretty certain is a delicate hand painted celluloid face and flowing blonde hair in ringlets. Her face needs a little cleaning, but I do not know what to use and do not wish to damage it. No cracks or breaks anywhere on the Lamp, but it does have a few white specks and is dusty and needs cleaning. The figurine is a little bit loose ... moreand need to be tightened on the bottom. The pink shade is also nice, but does have some scratches, light marks and needs cleaning. The bottom inner rim of the shade has roughness around the edge. The cord is marked"GILBERT/ NEW YORK CITY/ MADE IN U.S.A" on the little brown piece that encases the off/on turning wheel. This Lamp lights up and is working all the way!
