ANTIQUE SPELTER SCULPTURE GREYHOUND WHIPPET DOG OIL LAMP EAGLE GLASS SHADE 32"
We are pleased to offer this very special lamp. Dating to the 1880s. This beautiful lamp is truly an art piece. It features a large or ornate cast iron base with either pewter or silver plate hardware just above. Seated in the mid section of the lamp is a wonderful spelter Greyhound or Whippet dog sculpture. This beautiful piece is nicely detailed and the collared dog is gorgeous. He is seated upon a pewter or silver plate piece which is incised and resembles a cobblestone or bricked surface. A lall and slender brass column is positioned behind the dog and attached the lamp base to the brass oil reservoir. The brass reservoir is large. It has a few minor dings but is in good condition. There is a area on the upper section which is opened and does not have a cover(see picture 9) I am not sure what this is. The original font has been replaced, ... moreprobably when the lamp was converted. However, it would be very easy to return the lamp to oil burning if you so desired. The lamp has a beautiful, golden yellow shade with Eagle and Star pattern. It is very nice with some minor wear. This lamp is quite rare and exceptional. It is in overall wonderful condition but it does have some minor signs of age and use. It is a gorgeous piece of 19th century art! The lamp is quite large. It measures 24" to the top of the burner. The dog sculpture is 7" tall. The lamp is 32" tall with the shade attached. The shade is 8" tall with a 10" fitter measurement. The lamp base is 9" in diameter. Antique Brass Hitchcock Lovell and Co 1888 Eagle Oil Lamp
I don't know much about antique brass oil lamps. But from what I can gather from online research, this fits the bill. The embossing says"Hitchcock Lamp Lovell and Company 1888" It also has an eagle between the"18" and the"88" I don't know what kind of condition this lamp is in. The only areas of concern are around the base, some dents or distortions. They are not very noticeable from a distance, and most definitely do not take away from the overall gestalt of the item. There is a small crack near the top around the flame guard about 1/2" long. The embossing is faded. The word"Hitchcock" is somewhat faded, and the"L" in"Lovell" has faded. An original ruby red sleigh and scroll pattern glass oil lamp. With an Eagle burner and the original beaded red tip chimney. The ruby paint was applied to the glass. So there some scratches on the underside. As you can see in the pictures. It is in great condition. It has been used for decorative purposes and has not had oil in it for many years. Antique Clear Glass Oil Lamp with Clear Glass Globe When fully assembled about 13 inches tall. The glass globe is about 8.75 inches tall; it is 12.5 inches around at the widest circumference and tapers to about 6 inches at the narrowest point flaring slightly to finish with a fluted top. Made from molded or pressed glass. The glass base is about 4 inches tall and has a small loop handle. About 14.24 inches wide in circumference at the widest point which is a raised border at about midpoint. The bottom, which is, about 4.25 inches wide has a fancy pattern(which looks like cut glass but is not. The design is like a sunburst or flower. The metal base is about 2.25 tall and appears to be brass. It screws into a brass colored fitting at the top of the glass base. Four prongs of about 1.5 inches tall hold the glass globe in place. Selling a truly Original Americana piece of work. Brass Eagle on Bucket Style Wooden Base Table Lamp. Lamp is functional. Wiring is original, Lamp is turned on and off by pressing down on bucket handle. Measures 23" high overall; bucket is 7.25" high x 9" Diameter; figure of Eagle is 6.5" wide x 6" high. Does not come with shade. Harp or finial. Eagle appears to be Brass. I am sure that it is Metal. The finish on entire lamp is exceptional, no wear, no scratches. This piece comes from my Mothers' Estate. I love it but I have to let some things go on to others that will appreciate this era! It still never ceases to amaze me as far as quality and beauty. Antique style Colonial 5 Lamp Chandelier Ebony Glass Ball Gold Stars Metal Eagle
Estate sale find of a 5 lamp chandelier. I found it in a Sears Antique Lighting Catalog from 1937 on page 12. It said the model of this 5-light drop fixture is called"Stuyvesant" and that it was in the style of old Colonial Lamps before electricity. The color scheme is ebony black and brassy/gold. The center is a large ebony glass black ball with gold stars painted on it and a gold eagle sitting on top. The ad said it could go with any decor not just colonial. 20-1/2 in. to the round circle on top of the eagle and 19-1/12 in. in diameter at the bottom. The ball is 19 in. in circumference and is thick black glass through. The glass ball has at the bottom a 1 in. surface flake type chip that is 1 in. long and 1/4 in. at the middle(see photo) This flake is not obvious unless you are looking for it and would not really be seen when ... morehanging. Selling this chandelier"AS IS" for parts or repair. It does need to be rewired and the paint on the metal parts is chippy. The gold stars on the glass ball are in great condition. The ball is so shiney that it is picking up all kinds of reflections of light that show up on the photos but are not on the ball. This lamp is 77 years old. The least expensive way to Ship the chandelier is by Greyhound express. It would be $34.00. I would take it to the Greyhound office here in Tampa and you would pick it up at your nearest Greyhound office. The box is 24" x 24" x 24" and the weight is 10 lbs.

French Bouillotte Regency Desk Lamp Eagle Adorned VTG Tole Shade High Quality
This lamp is in very good condition for its age. French empire style desk lamp topped with an eagle. The size is 26.5 inches from the base to the top of the shade and 17 inches wide from outside of shade to outside of shade. Beautiful patina on the brass and no dents or dings on the shades. The shades are metal and the tole guild is in excellent condition with very little loss. I recently noticed that there had been a scratch on one shade that was touched up with paint; it does not show up in pictures. I have had the lamp for a long time and only noticed it while dusting. So as it is not very noticeable it is there. There is tarnishing on the brass which gives it an aged patina. The lamps electrical works perfectly. This is most likely 1950-1960 manufacturer most likely E. F.Chapman Co. But not marked. Keep in mind this is a vintage lamp ... morewhich always have some imperfections.
