Rare. Antique Czech glass fruit basket shade/top. all glass fruit wired to a brass frame. Measures overall 9 1/2” x 5 1/2” x 4. FRAME measures 8” x 4 1/8. Condition- excellent, clean no broken glass. frame is intact with a spot of light surface corrosion and a few dents that can easily bent back into proper form. I believe it is complete. Pair hand painted flower motif white cased glass Czech glass lamps 1930's work! a very pretty pair of circa 1930's stamped"Made in Czechoslovakia" white cased glass lamps. The flower motif is entirely hand painted and as you see the quality is quite nice. I've posted entirely too many pictures to this listing.But I wanted to show all the details that I could. Each lamp measures 11 1/2" total or about 8 3/4" when only measuring the visible part of the glass. There is no damage to make note of and both lamps do work. As you see they have the original wiring but it appears to be in very good condition. I will leave the decision to have them rewired up to the buyers discretion. Fab. Czech Glass Fruit Lamp on Tray w/Candlesticks
Description This is a beautiful antique set consisting of a mirrored tray. A basket with colored glass fruit and two candleholders. The pieces are a spelter metal with original painted finish. The mirrored tray measures 18" including handles and 13-1/3" deep and 4" tall- the piece that holds the fruit measures 15" wide and 6" front to back. The fruit base is 9" x 5" and the fruit itself is 8" x 5" Overall height including the mirrored base is 10" fruit basket with fruit is 8" tall. Candleholders are 13-1/2" tall and the base is 5" The fruit has a wire and a bulb socket so it lights up from inside. Candleholders are not electrified. The fruit is all in good condition with green and red grapes and assorted berries and other fruits. These are getting harder and harder to find. ... moreThere is some small areas of paint loss due to a repair on the bottom- the underside of the tray had been resoldered to hold the mirror in- you can see the solder in the last picture and the picture with the border shows the small areas of paint loss. Magnificent centerpiece for a sideboard or counter. I purchased this set at an estate sale in Manhatten. It is hard to tell if the fruit was original to the piece or modified to fit it but they said the set dated to the 1930's. Either way it is a rare treasure. Hello- This is a gorgeous true French Opaline Lamp. It is double-walled glass. Beautiful clarity and depth. The White Sugar Frosted design is in great shape, with the design repeated on both sides. Really at first glance I thought that they were Cherubs- so this lamp is very subtle. The base and fixture are a little tarnished which is typical for antique lamps. The shade is not included. Antique Boudoir Lamp Czech Reverse Painted Landscape Glass Shade
This is a very nice Antique Boudoir Lamp with a Reverse Painted Landscape Scene on the Glass Shade and Painted Glass Base with Czechoslovakia Stickers. This lamp includes a beautifully hand painted glass shade. Featuring a continuous landscape of trees, farmhouses, lakes and mountains in the distance. It is painted in beautiful tones of a brownish orange, blue, green, brown and white. Appears intended as a winter scene with snow on the roof, ground and trees. The pattern on the shade repeats once but seamlessly. The base is also very fine glass with the same brownish orange background color, and is hand painted on the outside surface with landscape scenes similar to the shade except without houses. The lamp is 12 inches high overall including the shade, the shade is 6-3/4 inch diameter. The lamp is operational with a 15 watt bulb and would ... moremake a beautiful night light. There is one"Czechoslovakia" sticker taped to the bottom of the shade, and another"Czechoslovakia" sticker glued to the base. No company names or signatures are found. Clearly this lamp is from the electric light vintage as there would be no escape for fuel heat or combustion products, or entrance for oxygen. Looks similar to a Ruckl or a Bellova, but an internet search did not turn up any exact matches. Condition: The shade and base are in very good vintage condition having no cracks. Repairs, or repainting. There is one small chip about 1/8 by 1/8 by 1/16 inch deep in the base at the surface hole where the cord exits. Electrically, the socket and cord look original. The cord has been taped at the exit from the base and the fabric is worn from the cord near the tape and near the plug. Consideration should be given to rewiring the lamp from the socket to the plug. Overall. This beautiful lamp is in very good original condition, is in good working order, and displays beautiful natural landscape scenes when lit. Czech Bead Antique Crystal Glass Beaded Lamp Shade Bulb Cover Shade
This is a smaller shade made of clear glass beads with matching glass fringe. The condition is good. But it needs some replacement to the fringe and reinforcement to the little loops on the very top. There are three beaded loops with breaks in the wires. I see no problems with the beaded crown or cap. This shade is stable and displayable as is, but not perfect. The fringe is not perfectly spaced, but I would say there are three strands missing. The fringe has also dropped a bit showing the string. The shade works well with candelabra bulbs or round bulbs. Pair Czech Glass Flower Beaded Shades Candlesticks with Candleholders
This is a beautiful pair of flower beaded shades with candle holders and matching candlesticks. These are all original and not a marriage. Here is the description of each component: The candles sticks are made of molded solid colored glass. There are no chips. But there are bubbles that occurred in the making. There are also lines in the glass. One line is in the candle cup area and I can not be 100% sure it is not a crack and just a factory flaw. Either way, these are not fine glass and meant to be pretty and useful. The candlesticks are 7 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches wide at the base. The silver metal candle holders are missing the inner springs. These normally would work by the force of the spring pushing the candle up as it burns. I think replacement springs could be found. But I used them with electric candles. Theses holders fit ... moreinto the candlesticks fine, but are very wobbly. Including the pronged bottom, they are 8 1/2 inches long. The shades need some repair. One shade is better than the other. One requires reinforcement to the top beads and has missing fringe. The other is missing a little fringe only. The fringe is tiny glass seed beads with silver beads at the end. Including the fringe. The shades are 6 1/2 inches long. I do not think there are flowers beads missing. For those of you that are familiar with these shades, some could be missing around the base, however, I do not see any gaps on the mid to upper portion. Please look over the photos for condition and feel free to ask questions. It was my intent to fix these. But I never found the time. I have displayed them as they are. Large Czech Crystal Glass Bead Beaded Lampshade Shade Purple & Golden Tubes
This is a beautiful crystal and glass beaded shade. It is being sold as I purchased it several years ago. This is a large shade measuring over 7 inches in diameter. It is very attractive with long purple and pale gold glass tubes. There are a total of 29 gold tubes. 26 purple tubes, along with 4 multicolored beaded strands. One purple tube is broken at the very end, but I am including it because it can still be used. I do not know if any tubes are missing, but there are so many, I do not see this as a problem. There may be two small crystals missing, but there are a few strays at the top that can be used in place of these. This shade was probably meant to hang, but I think it could be used on a table or floor lamp with a little work to the top. It is really a gorgeous shade with great potential. The fancy beaded top with the alternating purple ... moreand gold crystals has some loose seed beads. Also. A few large crystals will need securing. Overall, this is in really nice condition. After photographing this shade, I removed all the glass tubes for shipping. It is going to take a little patience to reattach all of the tubes, but it will save on shipping and prevent damage. Please note, this is an old shade and some of the wires to hang the tubes may need replacing. None of the wires broke as I removed the crystals, but I thought I should mention this. The top layer is 10" long and inner is 6" long. It is made with amythest and clear English Old cut beads and amethyst tubes. It is in two layers with the lower inner circle hanging fron clear seed bead chain as shown. It has hematite sown seed beads around the scalloped top, with three sections at the top with bead hangers. I put it on the chain for the picture. The whole shade is only missing, one long strand with large clear bead at end and one of the regular long strands and two partial strands on the small inner circle. For your consideration are a beautiful faceted and molded glass and brass lamp finial marked'made in Czechoslovakia' and a matching pair of glass lamp pulls. This trio dates from the 1920's- 1930's and are all in very good condition. Any flaws are commensurate with/to their age. I have tried to capture all three pieces accurately with photographs. All of the brass filigree is in tact. This set would be a beautiful and timeless addition to a floor or table lamp. The finial measures 4.5" tall by 1 3/8" wide. Vintage Czech Bohemian White Cut To Green Glass Lamp With Hand-painted Flowers
A fine example of Bohemian style cut-to-clear lamps. This beautiful pair of lamps features a clear green body. Cased on opaque white, with cut-to-clear accents all around the lamp. The cut-to-clear shapes includes circles, ovals, cross-hatches and even stylized pineapple-like shapes. The white portion of the lamp is further decorated with beautiful hand-painted floral designs. Gold rings and dots finish off the overall design. Each lamp measures 31" total from the base to the top of the harp. 24" from the base to the top of the light socket, and 8" wide. VINTAGE 20s/30s CZECH GLASS FRUIT BASKET LAMP RARE HTF Ram Head Handles
Beautiful glass fruit bead lamp made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s till late 1930s. Base is made of heavy metal. Possibly aluminum and then painted. Small amounts of paint are missing in a few places but nothing major. Wiring looks to be original and in good working order. The shade is marked Made in Czechoslovakia, but I could not get it show up in photos. It's very faint and hard to see, but it is there. There are 6 loose beads that I will include. They can easily be rewired onto the frame, or just lay them in spots as I do. The wire used to hold all of the glass beads is original and very fragile. Double handles on the base are in the shape of ram's heads. Look at photos. Side medallions look like open mouthed lions. Really neat and hard to find basket pattern. Metal has no cracks throughout. Includes bulb which is one of the ... morenewer low wattage ones. I suggest that you use these low heat bulbs as the basket will heat up and get very hot using a regular bulb which can cause it to crack and split. Everything is original and works perfectly on this fabulously beautiful lamp. The two piece set includes the basket lamp and the mirrored plateau tray upon which the basket rests. Every detail is considered including having a lovely design on the bottom of the basket to be reflected down into the mirror. A classical design of swags. Flower, crossed torches and arrows, and grape vines adorns the handsome basket and tray, finished in an aged gold tone. The metal shows some to be expected wear, and has not been cleaned. The exuberantly colored fruit is shaped and colored as grapes, pears, apples, cherries in saturated shades of blues, oranges, greens and reds. The tray measures 17"W x 8"D x 3 1/2"H. Vintage 1940's Czech ? Shabby Chic Floral Aladdin Satin Glass Lamp
Coupled with the right shade this lamp will sing! SHADE NOT INCLUDED. USED A COUPLE OF MY OWN LAMP SHADES TO HELP YOU VISUALIZE WITH VARIOUS SHADES/looks. So pretty and feminine. It is satin glass and so soft and smooth to the touch. Bright gilding has faded to a muted gold. The flowers are bursting with life and gorgeous. I believe this is from the forties. I have cleaned the metal base to reveal a bronze-ish top plate and an intricate design scalloped base with remnants of gold tinge. Quite lovely. Metal neck on top appear to be copper w gold left in spots. Original felt base is missing. And easily replaced. I have seen these lamps described as bohemian, west germany, murano, Victorian, shabby chic, satin glass cased, 1940's. Lamp is a fine quality, well made and lovely, whatever the origins. Lamp base and metal neck were cleaned with ... more0000 steel wool so are nice and clean. If a gold finish is desired it will be easy to put a rubbed gold finish. I have taken lots of closeup photos, look at them and read description. Base is metal and needs felt/ padding to base if it is on fine furniture or glass as metal will scratch surface it is on. If I have time, I will attend to, easy fix, just do not have proper adhesive. Item boxed and packed weighs 9 pounds! Antique ca 1920 Art Deco Glass Nude Beaded Lamp Nymph Fairy Statue French Czech
A rare and beautiful circa 1920 French or Czechoslovakian glass nude fairy lamp with exceptional crystal glass beaded wing decoration. The lamp retains the original early 20th century fixtures and silk cord. The base is black glass. There is a small tight crack in the bottom of the base(see pics. The base of the frosted glass figure has a 1cm edge chip on the back behind the left foot(see pics. This chip is only seen from the back and is not distracting or unsightly. There appear to be five tiny red beads missing from her belt buckle. I have plugged in the lamp and it does function properly. The new owner may want to have it rewired as it is nearly 100 year old wiring. The bulb is not included in the sale and will be removed before shipping.
