This is a rarer item as it ... morefeatures a double shelf to hold two oil lamps. It appears to be in original cast iron surface with no visible paint. There are two round bases or shelf's. The larger one measures approximately 5 1/2" so it will hold a 5" lamp and the smaller holder is 5" so it will hold a 4" lamp. From where it would mount against your wall to the outter edge it measures 15" It is missing the wall mount but you can find them easy replacement. You could paint this white or black to add a newer look. I personally like it the way it is gives it a antique charm. I see no damage other than the wall bracket. It is approximately 7" tall. Very nice detail in the cast iron. There is a little rust in both of the holder cups steel wool will remove it but I will leave that up to you as some prefer an old patina look. These double holders are getting very hard to find. Email me with your questions.

This auction is for an electric lamp with a slag glass shade. The base is marked 831 on the underside. The base is cast iron with a finish over it. The other parts are not iron. Some wear and/or small chips to the finish. Measures 16 1/2" assembled. The shade itself is 6 1/2" tall and the opening is 7" across. Some rough areas and chips on the edges of the glass pieces but nothing that shows from the outside and no cracks, some scratches or scuffs on the outside, the metal hides any edge damage. Small Boudoir Table Lamp Vtg Cast Iron RMR Arts & Crafts Era Needs Cord & Socket
For sale today I have this small boudoir/ nightstand/ table lamp. The listing is for the parts shown. The shade. Finial and cord are not present. The socket interior(switch& bulb holder) the paper insulator are worn out and will need to be replaced if the the lamp is to be used. The lamp has an overall height of 13-3/8" as measured from bottom of base to the top of harp. The base and harp are made of cast iron and finished with a gold-tone color paint that looks like the original finish to me and it shows age. Wear and grime. The socket shell and base cap are brass and they have natural age/use aquired"patina" and surface wear. The bottom of the lamp is marked with the cast-in raised letters"R.M.R. above"305" and the letter"A" to the left of the"R.M.R. marking. And extremely heavy. the base and shaft are made from solid cast iron with stunning detailing in high relief. it has a very long solid shaft with intricate finishing pieces. it has two wonderfully swirled bronze arms. Each holding a single generic size bulb, with dripping candle socket covers. the shade is handmade from real shell and has a nice gold gilt skeleton, it is a very nice shape for this style shade. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. Antique Wood Brass Cast Iron Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp
This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with brass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure ... moreof maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. This auction is for a Antique industrial cast iron& brass gooseneck table lamp machine age. This lamp is in working condition. It is 13" tall when in the up position. The shade is 4.25" x 3.75" in size. The shade is metal. Some surface discoloration on the underside. Some paint wear on the base. There is a square brass neck& brass shade fitter. Great looking lamp. And seems to be original and very old. It stands about 13- 14 inches tall. The electrical was very old and needed to be replaced.

Antique Original Cast Iron Painted Oscar Bach Style Table Lamp c. 1900-1940
This is an exceptional table lamp in the style of Oscar Bach(1884-1957) He was a master of metalwork who came to Germany in 1911 to New York. He was one of the most noted figures in the field of decorative arts in the first half of the 20th century. Oscar Bach was commissioned by many wealthy individuals. And also did custom work for the Empire State Building, Yale University and the Procurement Division of the U.S. Treasury Division, among others. This lamp has no known makers marks on it. It is made primarily of cast iron and has a possible faux mica type finish on the enclosed shade. It appears to be all original( the underside of the lamp shade may have been painted or it may be the original paint) There appears to be no repairs, damage or missing parts. The lamp is in very good working condition. It could have been used in many different ... moreplaces such as a bank or in a hotel/ motel setting. I believe it to be from the early 1900s to the 1940s. The base has eight mother of pearl call buttons on it. The approx. measurements are: 16 1/2" L x 9" W x 19" H(to the end of the finial) The lamp weighs about 20 lbs. Antique Lyhne industrial shaded table lamp was patented in 1910 by Anker S. Lyhne amd sold by Beers Sales Company. Bridgeport, Conn. Made for home, office or workshop with a revolving reflector/shade to prevent glare. The lamp itself can be put in pretty much any angle from side to side or straight up according to the users need since the arm can be articulated with the dial. The shade can be moved from side to side or down also according to the users needs. The base is 6-1/2" in diameter. The arm is 8" long and the shade is 6-3/4" x 5-1/2" It has a brass finish with a cast iron base. It has at one time been rewired and the wire and cord are in fine condition. The base is marked Lyhne Lamp Patd July 12 10, Dec 19 11 USA. Of, course, it has been used and does show some wear on the brass finish.The reflector on the inside ... morealso shows some wear and the arm has a few surface rust spots on one side all consistent with its age and use. It works fine and the industrial design blends well with both modern and antique decor.

Its all antique but the finish has been redone. The slag glass color is a rich caramel. Also rewired with a new rayon cord so its safe to use.

LYHNE INDUSTRIAL AGE SHADED TALE LAMP Antique 1911 table lamp designed by Anker Lyhne and sold by the Beers Sales Company. Bridgeport, Conn. Stamped on the case iron base USA Lyhne Lamp. Pat. D July 12'10, Dec 10'11. This lamp moves up and down. As well as forward and backware using the tube and knob adjustments. The lamp has a shade that also is moveable. Solid/plated brass with a weighted cast iron base. This lamp has the original cord and actually works. However it would be advisable to rewire as the cording is quite old and is fraying. Please see the additional photographs for details and close-up views. This lamp needs a clean-up and some TLC but all parts are intact and functioning. Appears to perhaps have had some paint over the brass but removes easily. Could clean up as is and re-wire or take back to it's original gleaming ... morebrass state. Up for bid is this early 1900's table lamp base. It is cast iron. Heavy and ornate. 23 inches tall without finial. Finish appears original and needs restored. Finial is not original. 3 1/8 shade fitter plus 1/8 inch lip. Sockets with pulls appear original but I do not know if they work but they work freely. There is no cord on the lamp. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with ... morebrass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure of maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older. It would look great in a foyer hall or side table in an office. The bulb shown has an amber tint- this bulb will be included. Up for auction is a very Unique Vintage One-of-a-Kind Slag Glass Cheetah Table Lamp. I believe the black is cast iron as it is very heavy. The Slag glass is beautiful Caramel. Orange and White and when it is all lit up, it glows. The maker is unknown as I do not see any markings. There is one area of the Cheetah's spot missing on the Cheetah's Hindquarter, but since it is at the back of the lamp, it is not noticeable. It can be fixed very easily. Cast iron lamp& shade I am offering a pairing that is unlikely an original one. The cast iron lamp is period- showing original cloth wiring under the base. An old rewire job that looks in need of yet another. I did not test this lamp as such- we will call it for repair- likely needs a rewire. That being said it looks to possibly have original parts on it- the brass lamp socket is marked Benjamin. Typical finish wear and patina. The shade may be a 70s reproduction- it is not signed(unless I am missing it) however it is a very stunning example of reverse painting. Some scratches inside top, but for the most part the paint is excellent on this thing.
