Lamp measures 42" high. Base is 6" wide, lady is 12" tall. Has four porcelain candlestick style arms(which currently do not tighten properly and lean inward. This looks like a banquet lamp. This wonderful antique solid brass/ bronze small table lamp had been in my grandparents home for my whole life(over 65 years) It at one time had a mica shade on it. But, that has long ago gone missing. I am pretty darn sure that it has never been polished, as it has the original dark patina. It has the weight of a bronze lamp, and could be bronze. Sort of reminds you of an Aladdins lamp at the top. It stands 10 1/2" tall not including the Arrow socket. It is 7 1/2" wide at the bottom. I think the lamp is from the early 1900's and has a pull chain for turning on/off. I was hoping this lamp would have a signature from a company like Bradley& Hubbard since the larger lamp in the room was from that company. But. Wow! That's the description in a nutshell. Two very ornate circa 1903 lamps 2 brass lamp bases and one painted to look like brass but its not. Don't Blame me I found that one. I just think it has potential. None of these lamps are perfect. The tiny ones need the round part at the top.I'm going to say it.glued.no one will know but you) the two matching lamp bases match but.one is missing one of the feet. Duck tape works wonders. This item needs restoration as it's missing a light socket cap and pull chain. For that reason. I have not attempted to test the other socket. I found it in an old garage at an estate sale recently. This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. A beautiful brass/bronze table lamp in the French Regency style. Heavy and ornate. It sits on a salmon colored marble base with 4 dolphin feet. All metal parts are non-magnetic. The body of the lamp is an urn with an ornate floral design on both the front and the back. The urn has two Greek Key handles. Measuring 7-1/2” from handle to handle. Above the urn is a brass column holding a plastic candle sleeve and ending in Levinton double sockets with pull chains. The rectangular marble base has a center brass medallion decorated with scrolls and an Acanthus leaf. The numbers 3. 10, 5, 4, and 7 have been scratched into the underside ... moreof the marble. The tall dolphin legs(3-1/2” high) are brass. The lamp is unmarked and age is not known; however. It is extremely well-made with fine craftsmanship. A fabulous estate find. But it has not been cleaned. There are no dents or dings. The right corner of the marble on the base has been repaired and looks to be expertly done with no rough edges(photos#7 and#9) There is one small dark spot on the top of the marble by the brass connector(photo#9) There is a wear spot(photo#10) on one of the handles on the urn. Up for auction is a very pretty ornate Bradley Hubbard Brass/ Bronze Oil Lamp base that has been converted to electric. I am able to light it up but there is a short in the light and the electrical wiring looks like it needs to be rewired. The lamp is hallmarked B&H on the oil cap and on the bottom. It has two dates one from 1892 and one from 1895 on the top where the wick would normally be(see photographs) The lamp itself is in very good condition with only one small ding on the wall of the lamp(see photograph) Hardly noticeable unless you hold it in a certain light. Floor Lamp, Antique. Pre-1940, Bronze/brass color
This antique floor lamp is a brass/bronze color with some green paint hilites. It has some patina on it from age and we have not polished it at all. Not sure whether a buyer would want the patina or a polished up appearance so we left it as is. It is 62" tall& weighs 17lbs. The only identifying marks are stamped into the bottom of the base. Which are Milcast& B2007 as shown in one of the pictures. Not sure what the actual type of metal is. A magnet will stick to it. As the pics show, there is lots of detail work. The shade has a velvety feel to it, also with quite a bit of detail. The shade does have some noticeable creases in it and one approx quarter inch square outline of a cut. But no material is missing. I've found this lamp in my attic 35 years ago. My home was built in the 1800's.We decided to sell it as I haven't had time to do the research, hopefully a collector out there will know. It looks to be cast out of either bronze or brass and the part with the erotic figures looks to be pewter that was hand painted. When we discovered it in the attic it had the first type of old knob and tube wiring on it that had the end cut off, that's probably why the original owners stored it in the attic. This is a beautiful art piece for someone to restore and display with your antique collections. It looks like Roman figures in different form around the urn part of the lamp. This is SPECTACULAR! What a unique design! This ornately ensconced lamp has a formidable dragon sitting atop what would have been the oil font done in black. The base is done in an elaborate floral/acanthus design. A gorgeous and very heavy converted Argand lamp. The base is quite solid and sturdy. The underside is hallmarked but I can only read half of it. It is stamped"Birmingham" on one side and"cliff" on the other. I wish I could find any information about this piece. Dark Burgundy Red Porcelain Rose Table Lamp, Bronze / Brass Base Lamps
This is an unusual porcelain table lamp with a pillar style neck and glass globe fitter at the top. It has a lovely burgundy colored porcelain body with a ginger jar shape. On the front is a pretty flower bouquet outlined in gold trim. Atop the porcelain is a brass pillar decorated with spiraling leaves and scrollwork which leads to the fixture that has a fitter for a glass globe instead of the more typical harp/lampshade design. The lamp rests on a footed brass base. This lamp is in good condition with heavy patina on the neck. Less so on the base. There is some tarnish underneath the base as well, not much though. There are no cracks, chips or crazing on the porcelain. We did replace the socket in the lamp as the previous one was not responding reliably to the knob position. The cord seems to be in good shape. Antique French Bronze Brass Bouillotte Lamp Brass Tole Shade
A antique french bouillotte style lamp in good condition. It does have some bends and dings here and there. Also scuffs and scratches from age and use. I believe this is made of bronze with a tole shade. It is working but as you can see in the pictures the electrical cord has been spliced together to make it longer. But that is a easy fix. The wood faux candles you see in the holders don't quite fit as snug as they should but they still look good. The tole shade does adjust up and down in height. This is an all original Emeralite Desk Lamp# 7 by H. G. McFADDIN& CO. 40 Warren St, New York Four Periods Of Production Of The Emeralites. Bellova& Emeralite lamps were the creation of Harrison G.McFaddin. It was in 1909 that the first Emeralite lamp. As we know it today, was produced. On May 11, 1909 McFaddin's patent application for a new, original and ornamental design for lamp shades, were approved. Thus began the manufacture of Emeralite and Bellova lamp's that were to continue for fifty years. The production of Emeralite desk lamps over the years can readily be divided into four distinct period's. The first period began in 1909 and lasted until 1916 and is known as the 4378 series. The second period of production. Known as the 8734 serie's, began in 1916 and lasted until the 1930's. The desk lamps produced ... moreduring this period are those most often found and for which the name Emeralite is most readily Identified. The third period of production began in the early 1930's and probably lasted less then five years. These lamps were generally part of the# 9 serie's. The last period of the company began in the late 1930's and continued for about twenty years. The lamps produced during this period hold little or no interest for the collector of Emeralite and Bellova lamps and consequently have little intrinsic or monetary value. These lamps were. To a large extent,flourescent and almost all were made with metal shades. Bases produced during the first period were usually very simple while becoming much more decorative during the second and third periods.Earlier bases were generally brass plated over a base metal if the bases were square or rectangular. And solid brass if they were round. Bases made during the second and third periods were usually solid brass.Most lamps had a hidden cast iron weight in the bottom of the base.
