Up for auction is a very unique wall lamp. It is solid brass with crystals. Its about the mid 1940s and still in original make. It has two candelabrum lights. These have cracks on booth on the end of stems. As you see in picture#6& 8. After a good polish you will appreciate this beautiful lamp. It stands 10" tall. 12" wide, and 4" from the wall. Antique French solid brass bed side lamp with lamp shade and matching solid brass wall sconce. Lamp measures 8.2" and the base 3.1" Lampshade is 6½" high. 4.6" diameter at top and about 7½" at base. It is creamy white and a little dusty. Beige and gold braid with 1" deep tassels. The wall sconce is 4.6" diameter. The candle holder just over 3½" high and the"candle" 2½" high. The on/off switch is a button that turns. I believe that this is brass(could be wrong) The hurricane shade could be any age. I had no way of dating it. There is a slot on the back so it can be hung on the wall or it can sit on any flat surface. There is pitting and spots that have worn off. It does look like that some one had replaced a screw that holds the hood in place. This stands about 12” tall, 5 ½” long and 5” wide. The base is 4 ¾” diameter. Again this does not work. Antique Brass Wall Hanging Double Candle Sconce with Mirror Circa 1900
An antique brass wall hanging candle sconce with a central circular mirror. As you can see from the photos the brass is decorated with scrolls. Leaves and berries. There are 2 sconces for holding the candles. The mirror is held in place from the back by a cast iron bracket. There is a hook on the back so that it can be hung from the wall. I would imagine this sconce dates to circa 1900. Condition. Very good. Just the odd minor bend to the edge but nothing that can really be seen from the front. There are some light scratches to the mirror. I have had this wall sconce professionally polished and lacquered so it will stay shiny for years. The sconces detach for easy transportation. Art Deco Brass Caramel Slag Glass Wall Sconce... Beautiful Original Glass!
Here's an old all original wall sconce with perfect all matching caramel slag glass on all four panels sides and bottom. There are no cracks or chips. The glass is dappled and not smooth with nice striations. The brass metal work is nearly mint with minor age related bruising. The bottom filligree is slightly askew. There is a newer plug on the back and two interior sockets. Both work fine The glass is superb on this piece. I have quite a few slag glass lamps in my collection.
