This lamp is being sold as-found for parts and repair. There are a couple tiny cracks in the fitters as you can see. There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. Antique Brass Glass Art Deco Lamps Sunset Lighting Gilbert Rohde? Tyndale Shades Great pair of lamps. Probably from the 30s or 40s for your consideration. Recently picked them up at an auction. The lamps were made by Mutual Sunset Light Company of Brooklyn, NY. The base has MSLC 4024 on both of them. Some question out on eBay as to whether these lamps were designed by Gilbert Rohde, anyone out there know where that open item can be confirmed or disproved? Your identity will be kept anonymous. The lamps appear to be made of brass and pressed glass. The bottoms above the brass base are also a cube of glass. A couple of chips in the cubed glass on both pieces. Nice pair of Tyndale fabric shades come with the lamps as well. Some of the gold gilt around the lamp needs to be reattached. But all there. Did not plug the lamps in to see if they work. ... moreYou can see one of the lamps has the bottom of the socket missing. There are no shade holders with this pair, piece that runs up from the socket to hold the shade in place. Some corrosion to the brass finish pieces on the lamps. The lamps stand 17.75"tall and are 4.75" across at the base(no shade measurements here) The shades are 6" tall and are 9/5" across at their widest part. this is a vintage brass dome pan art deco ceiling chandelier with 3 dangling light areas. there is also 3 matching frosted glass handpainted on the inside roses shades. it needs rewiring. the finial is cast iron. there is atiny split mark on the outer edge on the dome. very small. the dome is 16 in. wide and 4 in. tall. the light areas is 5 in. tall and 3.5 in. wide. the glass shades are 2 in. on one end and 4 in. on the other and they are 5in. tall. one of them has a hairline crack line near the edge as you can see in the picture. you can see it from the inside. there is flea bites on the shade edges from age and use. in good used condition.

Antique Brass and Crystal Pair of Lamps with original shades and lusters.
Up for auction is an super pair of Crystal and Brass fluted column supported table lamps with original frosted star cut shades and 20 reverse cut crystal lusters. Each stand 16 3/4" high with a 3 3/4" by 3 3/4" square alabaster base. Both lamps have been professionally rewired and have a Hi-Lo line cord dimmer switch. One of the original switches at some point was replaced with a key type action as seen at right in the last picture. The left one is original and works just like a real wick to activate lighting of the the bulb! Never have seen one like it! Natural aging to the solid brass fittings with 4 lusters missing otherwise complete. Cannot find a makers mark on either but both are very well made from Circa 1930's. Please review all pictures. Vintage brass double student electric lamp fluted swirl shades
This is the very classic double student lamp- an electric reproduction of the original oil type- which I purchased from the original owner. The chimney and shade holders are brass plated steel. Everything else is solid brass and features 3 way sockets. The shades use a 7 inch fitter and are milk glass with fluted swirl design. I estimate this lamp to have been purchased in the late 40's early 50's. One chimney is shorter than the other. Comes without bulbs as I will leave those to your discretion. CONDITION: Functionally excellent and cosmetically shows considerable age patina to the laquered brass finish- this could be an asset. Depending on your taste. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique to older vintage(c1940s) double student lamp. This lovely lamp features French/Parisian styling. It is heavy brass construction with an ormolu, gold gilded finish. The lamp has acanthus leaf and vine pattern with marble base. The marble is white with gray to black veins and has finished, squared ends. A trio of OLD, leaded crystals adorn each decorative bobeche and a fourth dangles on the end of each arm. The candlestick sections are long and provide an elegant touch. The old shades are clip on style. They are silk fabric, pleated, ivory in color and have ivory brocade trim on each end. They are lined as well. This is a lovely. Old lamp with an abundance of charm and timeless style. It is in very good condition with some aging patina to the gilded finish. The shades are very good with one shade ... morehaving a separation of the lining at the top. The lamp operates with two, standard fitting, 25 watt bulbs. this is a beautiful pair of ornate brass lamps with the round shade harps that hold beautiful vintage peach swirled shaved edge glass shades and they also have the chimneys(these have a label of made in mexico on them) the chimneys are 2 3/4 in. wide and 10 in. tall. the peach shades are 6 in. tall and the bases are 9 3/4 in. wide and the tops are 4 1/4 in. wide. the edges have that shaved texture. the lamps are 21 1/2 in. tall with the chimneys. the brass bases are a 4 tip ornate design. the bases are marked with the number 3642 and no name. there is one issue. i showed this in the picture. i think someone tighten one of the lamp to hard and the center finial piece has a split on one side. this is the only thing wrong with either of the lamps. each lamp will be shipped separately.in good used condition. view my other lamp listings.

Antique brass and hand-painted milk glass headboard lamps(pair) with brass shades. Glass is white with hand-painted pink and green rose design. All original and both in working condition. I am not certain of the date on these. Believe they may be from the 1880's? Glass measures 2 5/8" wide 1 3/8" high. Shades measure 6 3/8" across bottom x approximately 4" high. Shades have some tarnishing/greening- I have never cleaned or polished them. Just dusted when not stored.

Found this gem at a local sale. the lamp does work. more of an accent lamp. than a full on lighting lamp. shades are the original and the fabric does have imperfections. please see pics. the lace around the edges is hardened but still intact. the metal framing of one of the shades could use some straightening. will leave this up to the buyer. The bottom of the lamp does have some rusting. it had been stored in a garage. but this can be cleaned up with steel wool by the buyer. otherwise the lamp is sturdy. no noted flaws in the roses decor or the overall arms of the lamp. and the cord is in good condition. As well as the plug. I used a different bulb type in each of the sockets. for reference in the pics. both bulbs have the standard base, one is type BA, and the other the updated coiled, energy efficient bulb. Lows& Ball Offered is this handsome antique double Argand brass oil lamp with an urn form fluid reservoir topped with a bud finial. It features a fluted tapered body which supports curved arms and burners on a square base. It features the original wheel cut clear glass shades which are etched in a pattern of medallions and intricate designs. The lamp measures 18 inches tall by 15 inches wide and 5 inches square at the base. This lamp was originally used with whale oil or vegetable oil. But has been electrified and is in good working order. Some of the fiber covering the wire is frayed. One of the three screws on one glass shade is missing. The shade is still secure with two. Both arm tubes have embossed brass labels reading. Jones, Lows& Ball, Boston, ... morea Boston jeweler and silversmith retailer in business in the mid 1800's. There is also a stamp on each arm ring with numbers and"USA. According to my research. This retailer is possibly the precursor of Shreves Jewelers. This beautifully ornate antique double student oil lamp has two dual wick burners with glass chimneys. The width is approximately 19" with a height of 27" This lamp is quite heavy. Though the origin of this lamp is unknown. The knobs on the burners are stamped"Duplex- Made in England" Condition: Please note that, with most antiques, there is the expected wear to the lamp so please look closely at all pictures, as they are considered as part of my description, and feel free to ask questions. There is a small separation in the smaller decorative brass area noted in the last picture. The Cranberry Opalescent shades are quite stunning and are such a deep rich cranberry color. Again, these are very deep cranberry, not the light colored ones you see so much! I can find no chips or cracks in the shades, just very minor wear to ... morethe bottoms where they sit on the lamp. The chimneys are also in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks found. I don't believe the chimneys are original but they work well and look so beautiful with the lamp. Pair of Vintage Brass Spring Loaded Candle Lamps with Brass Pierced Shades
This auction is for a pair of unique vintage brass spring loaded candle stick lamps with brass pierced shades. The cylinder contains a spring which pushes the candle up to maintaining an evenly burning candle. The entire surface retains a nice mellow patina. Base is 6 inch tall and 5.25 inch wide. Candle tube is 6.5 inch tall and 3/4 inch and 1 inch diameter. Tube sits inside base and adds 1.5 inch. Shade sits on top of tube. Shade is 5 inch wide and 5 inch diameter. Lamp overall height is 10.75 inch. These lamps would be great inside or out. I have cleaned the dust off these lamps but I have not cleaned off the patina. I have removed the old candles and most of the wax. The lamps are in pretty good condition but there is some wear. There is a dent on one of the shades. I have seen photos of them in the background of family photographs, and remember them as a child. Could be up to, but no more than 70 yrs old, but unable to get accurate confirmation. Antique Brass Candlestick Dual Lamp Ducks/Doves Bird/Pond on Paper Shades Japan?
This is really an awesome working lamp(it's been tested and both sticks worked) It has the dual candlesticks and these amazing shades with a pond scene with ducks and doves and marsh plants and stuff. As you can see. It is not in perfect condition- it has some heat wear on the sticks, some nicking; very little tarnish but there is some, particularly on the base and a little bit on the sticks and the trays below the sticks. The shades are pretty much undamaged from what I can see. And the metalwork is pretty awesome on this thing! I don't know where it's from or when- as the title says, it seems to be either from Japan or at least going for a Japanese style, that's what I think when I see the shades. But perhaps the body was crafted in the US and the shades were added later. I don't know, but I do know it's a great ... morelooking piece! Weight is approximately 10 lbs. Pair Amazing Bankers Lawyers Student Lamps Brass Shades Neo Classical very Heavy
This is a gorgeous pair of matched bankers lamps made of the highest quality and in superior vintage condition. The lamps weigh almost 10 pounds each and measure 23" tall to the top of the finial. The shades are solid brass hand cut and hand welded with fine detail in rolled edges and rounded sides that took a real craftsman to form. The shades measure 14 wide and 8 1/4" deep at the bottom; The shades are just under 6" tall. They do bell or taper out as the top is only 6 3/4" deep. The shade could use a good cleaning as there is some loose residue on them as well as some light brown age spots. They are in quite good shape for their age. The finial balls are solid and original and one is missing the brass washer which will lock the shade in place. This should be replaced. One of the finials is firmly attached to the stem ... moreand when you loosen it the stem comes out. This is not really a problem although it might be nice to loosen the finial. The lamps work well I am not sure how much wattage it is designated to use. One of the sockets is a lighter color and may have been replaced at some time. The base has a wood platform that is 6 1/2" by 6 1/2" with a slightly beveled edge. The base has some minor color variation in it. If you are only interested in one contact me as I may consider splitting them up. I am in San Jose Ca local pick up is ok as is pre bid inspection.

Offered here is a very fine PAIR OF ANTIQUE GAS LAMP GLASS SHADES THAT HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL BRASS FITTINGS. THESE ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE SHADES ARE 8 SIDED AND HAVE A FROSTED AND ETCHED SURFACE. The etchings are draped and dangling flowers and a larger flower design in the center of each panel. Both lamp shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The glass shade measures 8-5/8 inches wide at the widest part of the opening. 4 inches wide at the brass ring fixture, and it sits approximately 5 inches tall. It is very well made and not a reproduction or modern make. No markings that I can see and it was probably manufactured sometime around the turn of the century or before. Antique 1907 Bradley Hubbard Art Nouveau Brass Table Lamps Frosted Shades
These are a beautiful pair of unique lamps attributed to Bradley Hubbard. I have only seen one other pair of these lamps and they had a Bradley Hubbard label on them. The sockets have a patent date of Nov 26. 1907. The frosted shades are in great condition with the usual roughness along edges. They have a unique diamond pattern along the edges. The lamps look to be all original except the cords which appear to be updated. They do work but should be checked out. The lamps are in great structual condition but the brass finish shows wear. See pictures for greater detail. Dimensions: 16 inches tall with shades. 12 inches without shades. 5 inches square at base. 7 inches depth with shades.

It weighs 6.6 pounds.There is some finish loss to the lamp itself and some paint loss to the shades. The bottom of which cannot be seen when the shade sits in the ring. There is also a small chip to the top of one shade. I believe this is may be a vintage reproduction as I don't see any real evidence of conversion. But it definitely has age.
