ORNATE BRASS ANTIQUE OIL KEROSENE STUDENT LAMP MILLER? FOR RESTORATION
Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This antique student lamp is in need of restoration. It has been electrified at some time in the past. Luckily the wire came out of the burner section and no other holes or alterations were made in the lamp. In the 5th row of photos you can see the slight separation in the ribbing at the bottom where the wire came out. Other minor problems are there is some solder at the top of the oil tank with some very minor metal fatigue at the top. There is a dent on the inside of the oil tank also shown in the 5th row of photos. Obviously the burner has also been altered. There are no other dents. Splits or damages on the lamp. The lamp is made of solid brass(except for the weight in the base) and would polish up beautifully if that was your desire. Although ... morewe cannot find any maker's mark we believe the lamp to be made by the Miller Lamp Company. It stands 21 1/2" tall, is 14 1/2" wide and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. We are very pleased to offer this Edward Miller& Co. Meriden, Conn. Oil or Kerosene Banquet Lamp. Font. This Font has never been electrified and has the original Burner and Shade Holder. It is Brass and. Again, has never been electrified. The Burner is marked on the top of the Flame Spreader with the Miller Logo. The oil filler cap is not marked. The Wick lifter does work and moves easily up and down. Please see the photos that show it in the up position and in the down position. Item Des cription: You are bidding on a vintage Eng lish brass hanging ship or tavern l amp. The lamp measures 25.5" high to the top of t he finial and approxi mat el y 14.5" in diameter at its widest poin t. The lamp weighs a bout 5 lbs. The lamp is marked"John Scott" and"Made in E ngland" on the wi ck extenders(see ph oto 9) Condition: Damage to the lamp font has been repaired at one point(see p hoto 12) However. The damage to the font can not be seen when the font is placed in the lamp harness. With the ex ception of the repaired font damage. The lamp is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use.

1893 Rochester Mammoth Oil Kerosene Brass Hanging Lamp w Iron Hanger Description: Lamp metal font section embossed brass. Hanger bracket appears to be a combination of cast and wrought iron. A similar lamp was advertised as a Number 10 in the 1893 catalog issued by the Rochester Lamp Company. New York. Good condition overall but there is a dent in the one side of the fuel tank. Dent is mostly hidden when inserted into the hanger. More details below. All glass pieces are in fine condition with no damage. Frosted chimney measures 12 inches tall overall with a 4 inch diameter mounting area. Upper and bottom rims are both cut but the upper is way thicker than the bottom edge. 7 inch tall milk glass shade measures 11-3/4 inches in diameter at the bottom rim and 4.5 inches in diameter at the top. Both ends of the shade are rough cut. Similar shades ... moreand lamps were also marketed by the Royal Lamp Company. New York. The hanger is included but it's slightly different than the one illustrated in the 1893 catalog. It has some rust and flaking paint. The brass font parts are in nice original condition. There is a dent which likely needs repair prior to holding fuel. IT seems complete other than there is no wick or smoke bell. Tank section measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches from the bottom up to the fitter ring. Fitter ring has a silver colored screw that works but is may not be original. Overall measurements of the harp section with lamp font inserted is 35.5 inches. That does not include the 44 inches of chain. Has not been restored. Polished, or converted to electricity. Bottom appears to be brass. The other parts are some type of metal/brass- not sure. Missing cap. Appears to be hand painted. Issues- if you over 100 years old you'd have issues and be pretty rough too. Scratches. Dents, rust, discoloration, fading, marks, dings, the list is endless. Up for auction is this solid brass bracket mounting centre draught argand paraffin/ kerosene oil lamp. Complete with button type flamespreader, wick, reflector and straight cylinder type glass chimney. It is incredibly heavy. Weighing 4& 1/4 pounds without the glass chimney, solid brass. It stands 12 inches high without the chimney, 19 inches high with the glass chimney. CGlass chimney is just under 2 inches diameter and 11 inches long. I have no idea what the lamp was made for. It is heavy and well made. Must be made for a marine, military or railway use, and it has been suggested it fits into a railroad headlight. the brass strap bracket has 2 hole and slot mounts. The lamp is secured to the bracket by a stout brass nut on the heavy centre tube protruding from the bottom of the fount. As it is now the fount can swivel in the bracket. ... moreMay be as intended or may need the nut tightening. Wick winder knob. Which is on top of the fount to one side of the burner, works and raises the wick very smoothly. The chimney mount gallery incorporates an inner tube spaced out from the wick tube, to bring an inner current of air around the flame and assist cooling the wick tube. The height of the wick tube above the fount suggests that it is for kerosene or refined burning mixture, turpentine. There are no dents or damage. There is no makers mark I can find. The lamp is incredibly neatly made. Chimney has swirls in the glass but no cracks or chips. if you wanted to use it a borosilicate(pyrex) tube might be a good investment. Crevices show residue from polishing. Lamp has a clean, but aged patina. Due to the weight and need for a good box overseas postage is expensive. Check out my other lots. Save on postage! Notice the brass holder inside the glass part has some age cracks in it but they don't ... morehurt anything. That metal was obviously very thin. The brass font is 6" high and 4" in diameter. The overall diameter of the glass part is 7 1/2" in diameter and is 7 3/4" high. The base is of cast iron. This elaborate parlor lamp is very old and likely the 1890's. this column lamp has the cast iron base. The painted scene glass column with brass ends and then the kerosene lamp body is an etched design glass. the knob on the wick says p& a mfg co and on the wick top it says eagle. there are a few flea bites on the top edge. the lamp is 13 in. tall without the wick area and 15 3/4 in. with the wick area. the base is 6 in. wide. the column area is 2 1/2 in. wide and 6 in. tall. the kerosene area is 6 in. wide and 3 in. tall. the scene on the column is a mountain and farm haouse scene.

This is a beautiful kerosene lamp. There is alot of detailing in the brass with added stone bass. There has been no conversion to electric on this lamp. It could even be more stunning with some polish but I have left it in original condition. I have only had it on display in my collection but I now need to down size some. I know you will love I have. For sale is a very unusual& attractive antique kerosene lamp. It is in the form of a chamber stick for a candle but it is a fuel lamp. The candle part is made of porcelain and is marked with a circle in a circle and a six pointed star. The top writing says K.K. a. priv. The name under the star says E. BIANCHI. The lower writing says FABRIKS-MARKE. The brass wick adjuster says PATENT- WIEN with star in center. The tin bottom says in a circle FINZI& BIANCHI FIRENZE MILANO with ROMA in the middle. It measures about 6 and 3/4 inches tall and the base diameter is about 5 and 1/2 inches. It has condition issues which do not detract from its looks on a table or shelf. Etc. The porcelain has a slight hairline, the tin bottom has rusted through, the brass finger handle has soldered reinforcement. Antique Floral Lamp Base Kerosene Oil Lighting. Great old antique milk glass floral globe base holder for kerosene lamp with Morning Glories. Cast iron base and Brass inset. The main color of the globe is White fading to pale Blue at the top. Flowers are deep Purple with green leaves. Two Morning Glories on the front. One on the back with White space in between. No chips, cracks or deep scratches. There is some slight staining to the blue from cleaning over the years. No makers mark found but lamp came with a Meteor font& burner. Cast iron base in very good original condition with no missing pieces, cracks or breaks but there is some rust beginning to show. Marked with 211 on the underside. Brass inset is in good condition and only needs to be cleaned(two pieces. Hi. Up for grabs here is a stunning oil Kerosene lamp base. This is a deep blue glass(darker than the pic shows) Brass and cast iron base. The condition is superb, the only issues are a mild bruise on the top lip of the glass on the inside of the brass ring(see pic)some surface rust on the cast iron base and some spotting on the lower brass ring. Everything else is beautiful. This is about 8 1/4 inches tall, the base is 6 1/2 inches in diameter and the glass is about 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Very beautiful piece and much potential. In excellent condition with no dents, rusts or damage to the brass oil lamp itself or the darling, very detailed brass(possibly refinished at some point before my mom received it because it has beautiful golden toned finish not a dull brass) country girl design and ornate base. My mother added amber glass chandelier pieces to match the dome and these are NOT antique but are vintage. Some pieces are missing but 17 still intact and can be replaced with new, matching ones. Left them ... morethere and buyer may choose to remove them all since the filigree ring is very lovely without them. there is a section of this ring that is loose and needs to be repaired/secured back down. My mom is not sure which parts of the lamp were original or what my grandmother had done since she received this over 40 years ago as part of the estate. Weights 6 lbs before packaging. This has a 10 FT. Cord in excellent condition with no fraying/cuts and lighting great that can accommodate a 3-way bulb. It's in very good shape with only the expected age wear. It has a nice patina but could use a polishing to look it's best. Antique Hanging Kerosene Lamp with Hinks Brass Harp Hanger and White Glass Shade
Up for auction is a 19th Century Hanging Kerosene Lamp. This is for pick up only- in the LOS ANGELES AREA* CONDITION: This is in GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION- keep in mind that this is nearly 150 years old. Given its age. It is in great condition. There is a minor split in the brass on the rim that holds the shade. The key that turns to raise and lower the brass collar and glass chimney slips, so you have to hold the brass collar to guide it up and down as you turn the key. The white glass shade is in good shape with 2 small dings on the top rim, which would not be visible once the lamp is hung. MARKINGS: The brass harp is marked"BINKS" on the outside of the rim that holds the reservoir. This indicates that it was made by JOSEPH BINKS& SONS of Birmingham. UK. The cap on the reservoir is marked"MADE IN GERMANY" and has the ... moreErich& Graetz logo and letters. The underside of the reservoir is also stamped"45" in small numerals. This is a Central draft(tubular round wick) lamp. The wick adjuster on the burner is marked"LAMPE PH Ӧ NIX" MEASUREMENTS: Brass Harp- from top to bottom it measures about 34 1/2 inches. At its widest point it measures about 17 1/2 inches. The rim that holds the glass shade is about 15 inches in diameter at the outer edge. It holds a 14 inch shade) The bottom rim that holds the reservoir is 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The chain is old- but I don't think it is original to the piece- it is about 28 inches long. Reservoir with burner- about 7 inches in diameter along the ridge that rests on the hanger. Approximately 10 1/2 inches tall. Glass chimney- 12 inches tall. 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom. 2 inches in diameter at the top. White glass shade- 14 inches in diameter at the bottom. 5 inches in diameter at the top. 8 1/2 inches tall.

Description* Please read entire listing for details and terms* Large antique brass country store(hanging? oil lamp. Marked"The Rochester" and showing patent dates of Jan 15. 1884 and Sept 14, 1886. It has been electrified but the power cord is cut. The font is pretty good sized measuring 9" across but it does show a noticeable ding to one side. The hand blown glass chimney measures 12" tall x 4" wide at the base and is in good condition, just shows a tiny scratch near the top. A nice project piece, sold for parts or repair.
