The cast iron base has inlaid panels of brass. With cast iron base having patterns of flowers and rocco style scrolls which complement the font. Each brass panel has the Rd. The etched EAPG font is in excellent original condition and the Don Juan cameo base has been restored. Pedestal has new white paint and I see one cameo is pronounced and clear while the other is faint and hard to see Don's hat feather. Also I see the narrow section of the pedestal was damage and put back together. I do not know what technic the person used to do this repair and he has passed on now. This is a beautiful pair of victorian table lamps They are very ornate and are original the leaded glass/stained glass shades are in great shape with no visible breaks. the bases retain 975 of the original paint. one lamp does have a replacement cord on it the other has an older one that is not frayed and is still in usable shape. check out the pictures and you will see what fine examples these two lamps really are. the lamps stand 15 inches tall. This is a heavy antique Victorian adjustable bridge arm bronze or brass marble base table lamp. I would date it early 1900s. It's a very cool. Classy looking lamp. It measures 30 3/4 inches tall including the marble base(78 cm) The marble base is 1 1/8 inches thick and 6 inches wide in both directions(2.86 cm x 15.24cm) The arm measures 10 inches from the main rod to the shade holder(25.4 cm) It's adjustable on the main rod to bring the light higher and lower. And adjustable next to the socket to move the socket up or down. It may have been a banker's lamp with a green shade originally. That would look great. As you can see from the photos. It MUST be rewired. There is a chip on the corner of the marble which measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch high(2.54 cm by.64 cm) And a couple of other tiny flecks. An unusal Victorian/ Edwardian heavy ceramic lamp base. Possibly originally for an oil lamp. It stands 6¾" 17cm to the top of the fitting and has a makers mark to the base as shown. There is damage to the tail end of one of the creatures and there is a split to the metal fitting at the top. Not perfect but still a nice old item so offered for sale in the hope of a good home. Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font A very High quality oil lamp indeed. A reeded stepped copper. Brass and china base houses a particularly good triple cut faceted glass font in perfect condition. The font is fitted with a classic hinks/messengers bayonet fitting collar which houses a very good hinks no2 Duplex rise and fall burner. The lamp is finished with an original victorian acid etched reeded globular shade. The overall height of the oil lamp including the chimney is 65cm 25 1/2 inches tall. The shade is just over 18cm tall and 20cm 8 inches wide. The diameter of the font is 17cm just shy of 7 inches. Postage UK £10. Europe £30, USA and Canada £45. Victorian-style. Frosted blown glass, hurricane-style electric lamp base with four ornate brass feet. The base has hand-painted small roses on both sides and a powdery tint of pink at the top and bottom of the base part. It takes a standard watt light bulb. 40-100 watts, although 40 watts gives a soft ambience to the room. The light turns on and off with a switch at the base of the top shade in the form of a decorative"key" The base(from the ring to the feet) is 10-3/4 inches high. The glass bottom part of the lamp is 5-5/8 inches across. The brass base(with feet) is 5-1/2 inches across. The ring on the base that the shade sets into is 7 inches in diameter. They are both dressed in pink& white with gray hair. Pink flowers. Gold accenting and lace ruffles. Very nice and great detailing! They have a felt material on the bottom. I could not find any markings. In good condition no chips or cracks on the man. The woman has a small crack on the gold base in the back, not noticeable still in good condition. Fabulous antique pair of Limoges pink urn style table lamps Fabulous metal details and gold gilding Victorian scenes Marble bases Each stands approx 26.5" tall from bottom of base to top of finial( finials are not identical) These are very old. They were found in the attic at an estate sale. The relative on hand said she remembers her father taking them apart at some point and he found the Limoges mark on the bottom of the urn which is not visible because they are mounted on a marble base. Both are in working condition but have the original wiring so you may want to have them rewired. They have some aged wear such as the marble bases have some chipping on the edges. They could use a good cleaning but I will let the new owner of these beauties do that as I do not want to cause any other damage. Good Quality Victorian Pottery & Brass Oil Lamp Base
This auction is for a good quality pottery and brass Victorian oil lamp base that needs an oil reservoir/font to complete. The pottery base has an attractive transfer and hand decorated pattern of oranges and flowers. The pottery body is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear to the gilding but the decoration is intact. The black ceramic foot appears to be in good condition with no chips and the brass is free from splits or dents. The base stands 9.5"24cm tall and the black ceramic foot has a 6.5"16.5cm diameter at its largest. The brass ring at the top has an interior diameter of just over 5.5"14cm while the opening for the font measures 5"12.7cm in diameter. 2.5"6.4cm deep. Antique Victorian Dithridge Co.Sunset Blue Milk glass oil lamp on brass base
Offered for auction is this circa mid to late 1800's Blue Milk Glass converted oil lamp with replacement shade and chimney on a nice reticulated brass base. The pattern name of the font eludes me but can be found in any quality book on blue milk glass. Nice fluted top and cross hatched pattern shade compliments the color of the BMG. Frosted chimney stops the glare from a clear glass chimney. 21" to top of chimney. A lovely lady informed me that this lamp was made by Dithridge Co. and the pattern is Sunset.

Here I have a very nice Victorian silver plate four column oil lamp base. Size is 10.1/2" tall x 6.7/8" in diameter the condition is good with a little over polish edge plate loss this can be seen in my photos the base displays well is complete with a cast weight for stability the four columns are firm and fit well into the top and bottom sections, a minor detail the base was subject to a conversion at sometime but never completed the only evidence is a solder filling to the bottom section and a filled hole in the top base screw fitting, the base does display well. I will pack this base using plenty of bubble wrap and double box for a safe transit via 24 hr signed parcel force delivery. It is ca.1850-90 very heavy very elaborate figural oil lamp base. As you can see oil font is simply discarded without damaging the base. Owner was using it as a center piece/ candle holder. The base rim is very ornate. There are four goat heads and hooves at corners& gorgeous chased designs between. The curved flat base under the statue is metal with black finish at top, marbleized burgundy red at sides. The cherub statue is simply fantastic, they are chubby with beautiful faces, curly hairs. There are large foliage under their feet. It looks like some part of the statue is silvered and gilded. The oil font holder is very ornate, it is decorated with ... moreflower swags, goat heads. The font holder used to be gilded, some is still intact as shown. If you have an oil font with 3” diameter, it will fit in.
