Mid century mercury glass ball table lamp very cool
You are looking at A used mid century mercury glass ball lamp. This lamp measures 18” tall. About 9” at the widest part of the ball and the very bottom base is 6” The lamp has one 1-1/2” crack toward the bottom of the ball and has some clouding next to the top ring. As you can see in the pictures the lamp still looks very good for its age. There are two pictures of the crack. I don’t believe the crack affects the structure of this lamp. It is very hard to see and even harder to get pictures of. The lamp functions perfectly. The paint at the top and bottom is in great condition. Here’s your chance to get a very cool looking lamp. Victorian Duplex Burner Kerosene Oil Lamp C. 1880-90 ORIGINAL PERIOD LAMP. NOT A REPRODUCTION. The font is mold blown cased glass. Clear over blue. The clear surface is delicately wheel cut in a lace like pattern. The third photo shows the truest color) The font is mounted with a brass collar and tapered support that are cemented on. The lamp's base is brass with a iron under plate. The duplex burner's knobs are embossed with a globe emblem. The Fenton blown opaline coin dot glass shade is old, whether it is original to the base is unknowable but they have been together for some time. I have worked on antique lamps for over thirty years. I have not seen a similar font before. CONDITION: Surprisingly good. The font has not been drilled and has no problems. The brass elements have darkened with age and can be polished as brightly as ... moreyou desire. There is surface rust on the iron under plate. The burner was gutted when it was electrified. The rowels that move the wicks are still in place. A section of the gallery that holds the chimney in place is missing. The chimney still fits tightly. The chimney is not as old as the lamp(few are) and has chips on its bottom and top edges. The shade, no cracks, it has chips on the inner surface of its fitter opening, these may have occurred when the shade was made and the fitter lip was ground, and again, chips on the inner edge of its top opening, these are from use. Such chips are typical on old shades. Dimensions: 24 1/2" tall with the chimney in place. The lamp. To the font collar, 11 1/4" tall. Font, 6" maximum diameter. Foot, 7" diameter. Shade, 4" fitter, 7" maximum diameter. The entire lamp weighs, 8 pounds, 6 ounces. It will be disassembled when packed. Ball Perfect Mason Canning Jar Oil Lamp Color: Aqua The aqua glass was blown into Ball Perfect Mason quart jar mold number"7" by the Ball Bros Company between 1923-1933. Please see the included photo of the Ball marks and their respective dates of manufacture. The jar is in excellent condition considering it is 80-90 years old. The age of the glass chimney globe is unknown. The burner/wick assembly is new and unused. The lamp is 16" inches tall. Besides being a functional oil lamp which can hold a quart of lamp oil which can mean many days of light during power outages. These oil lamps made from antique Ball Perfect Mason jars make for beautiful displays of Americana, attractive decorations and conversation pieces. They display very nicely on fireplace mantles. Antique style Colonial 5 Lamp Chandelier Ebony Glass Ball Gold Stars Metal Eagle
Estate sale find of a 5 lamp chandelier. I found it in a Sears Antique Lighting Catalog from 1937 on page 12. It said the model of this 5-light drop fixture is called"Stuyvesant" and that it was in the style of old Colonial Lamps before electricity. The color scheme is ebony black and brassy/gold. The center is a large ebony glass black ball with gold stars painted on it and a gold eagle sitting on top. The ad said it could go with any decor not just colonial. 20-1/2 in. to the round circle on top of the eagle and 19-1/12 in. in diameter at the bottom. The ball is 19 in. in circumference and is thick black glass through. The glass ball has at the bottom a 1 in. surface flake type chip that is 1 in. long and 1/4 in. at the middle(see photo) This flake is not obvious unless you are looking for it and would not really be seen when ... morehanging. Selling this chandelier"AS IS" for parts or repair. It does need to be rewired and the paint on the metal parts is chippy. The gold stars on the glass ball are in great condition. The ball is so shiney that it is picking up all kinds of reflections of light that show up on the photos but are not on the ball. This lamp is 77 years old. The least expensive way to Ship the chandelier is by Greyhound express. It would be $34.00. I would take it to the Greyhound office here in Tampa and you would pick it up at your nearest Greyhound office. The box is 24" x 24" x 24" and the weight is 10 lbs.

Lows& Ball Offered is this handsome antique double Argand brass oil lamp with an urn form fluid reservoir topped with a bud finial. It features a fluted tapered body which supports curved arms and burners on a square base. It features the original wheel cut clear glass shades which are etched in a pattern of medallions and intricate designs. The lamp measures 18 inches tall by 15 inches wide and 5 inches square at the base. This lamp was originally used with whale oil or vegetable oil. But has been electrified and is in good working order. Some of the fiber covering the wire is frayed. One of the three screws on one glass shade is missing. The shade is still secure with two. Rare Antique 1885 EAPG Kerosene Parlor Lamp w? Original Ball Shade & Chimney
Museum quality owned by one family. This lamp is a find! In mint condition the P& A a manufacturing company kerosene burner is patented August 8, 1885. The shade and the chimney are original to the lamp and they are all in mint condition please note that because it was handblown the top of the chimney has a little raise on the edge. The wick in the kerosene burner raises and lowers. The acid etched ball shade is Greek revival in design with grape clusters and four petals. The family always referred to this lanp as being manufactured by the Boston and Sandwich glass company and they lived in New England so this may be true. Regardless of the exact maker it was most likely manufactured by one of the New England companies and is a wonderful antique example of an early kerosene working lamp that was used in the front parlor. While unmarked. This lovely antique banquet/parlor/gwtw lamp was most likely made by Fostoria in the late 1890's. It measures 25 1/2" to the top of the ball shade, with the ball shade alone measuring 8 1/2" tall(measured through the center) The ball shade is the factory original shade decorated with small purple violets which matches the decoration on the font and stem. The violets are decals, with hand over-painting, typical of Fostoria decoration. Around the top of the shade, font, and stem, is a band of bright yellow. The shade retains its original brass heat ring and the fitter edge is without damage. All glass components are in excellent condition with no damage.the font was never drilled, and holds water without leakage. Here it is. A wonderful high quality lamp that was made in the USA. This item is a mixed metals lamp base made by Bradley& Hubbard. In 33 years of buying I have never seen another example of this fine lamp base. The base looks like it is solid copper with applied Fish. I do not know exactly what metals were used in manufacturing the fish and the feet but it may be a base metal that was chrome plated. I am sure a lamp collector will know so please share any information so I can pass it on to the buyer. The pictures should tell you what you need to know. Very elaborated type and quality. The shade is made of clear glas with meltings of gray glass as known by similar midcentury objects from Murano/ Italy. The ball measures about 10" in diameter(25cm) Overall the lamp is in very good condition with some minor regular traces of older age as some very minor scratches at the mounting. But nothing that hit the eyes or detract from the great charisma of this vintage object. You would have to look quite closely to spot. At the upper rim some chips will be found due to grinding the rim during process of production. But this is pristine condition and is covered by the upper part of mounting. c. 1900 STUNNING Ball Shade With Chrysanthemums, GWTW Parlor Banquet Lamp, OLD!
This STUNNING victorian-era ball shade was most likely manufactured by the Consolidated Lamp& Glass Company in the early 1900's. It measures almost 10" tall.9 3/4" to be exact. And has a standard 4" fitter. The lamp is decorated with sprays of life-like-looking burgundy chrysanthemums on a shaded yellow and turquoise background. The shade is in excellent condition with no damage, no cracks, no repairs, no staining, and no fitter flakes.only the usual minor roughness around the fitter edge. A friend bought a condo and the lamp was one of several things that were left behind. She did not like antiques and knew that I did. However. I do not need another antique/vintage lamp presently. Everyone that sees the lamp rates it as"very striking" The lamps measurements are as follows: total height 33" height of base 2 1/8" circumference of base 32" diameter of base 11" lamp base on main foundation circumference is 18" and total height of lamp's stem 15 1/2" from shade to base) There are four areas of various protruding decorations on the stem. The circumference of the shade"holding trim" is 14 1/4" The height of the shade is 15" and its circumference is 37" Although the background is white, the major portion of the large ball shade is a solid gold and gold floral pattern ... morethat was created within the inside of the shade. Cast iron lamp& shade I am offering a pairing that is unlikely an original one. The cast iron lamp is period- showing original cloth wiring under the base. An old rewire job that looks in need of yet another. I did not test this lamp as such- we will call it for repair- likely needs a rewire. That being said it looks to possibly have original parts on it- the brass lamp socket is marked Benjamin. Typical finish wear and patina. The shade may be a 70s reproduction- it is not signed(unless I am missing it) however it is a very stunning example of reverse painting. Some scratches inside top, but for the most part the paint is excellent on this thing. VINTAGE Gone With the Wind Ball Globe Lamp, Hand Painted, 3 Way Operation
This is a Antique Globe Glass Hand Painted Floral Electric"Gone With The Wind" Table Lamp. This Lamp that has a Globe and is missing the top one(it would need to have a 10" opening on the bottom) It is a Beautiful Vintage Table Lamp with a Light at the Top and Bottom. This Lamp is in great condition with no chips or cracks. Its about 22" tall. Bottom base is about 8" wide. These are 3 way lights-the top will light. The bottom will light and they will both light up together too. The flowers are pink and blue with some yellow and green leaves. It has dusty pink lines on top and bottom. Very nice without the top globe. It works just fine! It weighs 5 lbs.
