This is a rarer item as it ... morefeatures a double shelf to hold two oil lamps. It appears to be in original cast iron surface with no visible paint. There are two round bases or shelf's. The larger one measures approximately 5 1/2" so it will hold a 5" lamp and the smaller holder is 5" so it will hold a 4" lamp. From where it would mount against your wall to the outter edge it measures 15" It is missing the wall mount but you can find them easy replacement. You could paint this white or black to add a newer look. I personally like it the way it is gives it a antique charm. I see no damage other than the wall bracket. It is approximately 7" tall. Very nice detail in the cast iron. There is a little rust in both of the holder cups steel wool will remove it but I will leave that up to you as some prefer an old patina look. These double holders are getting very hard to find. Email me with your questions.

Top globe is 10 inches high& 10 inches across. Bottom globe is 6 1/2 inches high& 10 inches across. Lamp has the number 202 on the bottom. Does not have any other markings. The lamp is typical of lamps made circa 1880's- 1915. It does say Made in US America on the wick knob. It has a couple of small chips on the bottom of the top globe, they cannot be seen when top is attached to lamp. Beautiful hand painted daisies. The lamp has been electrified and lights up top& bottom. Cord is going bad, should be replaced. I would consider any fair offer. The etched EAPG font is in excellent original condition and the Don Juan cameo base has been restored. Pedestal has new white paint and I see one cameo is pronounced and clear while the other is faint and hard to see Don's hat feather. Also I see the narrow section of the pedestal was damage and put back together. I do not know what technic the person used to do this repair and he has passed on now. Antique Victorian Duplex Brass Double Student Oil Lamp Electric Original Globes
Hi. You are bidding on the most beautiful lamp. It is a Duplex student oil lamp that was converted to electric. You can see by the cord and plug that it is one of the oldest electric lamps you will ever see. It has been tested and did work when I bought it but the cord is super old. I would get a second opinion before you use the cord. The globes are LOVELY and even more beautiful in person. They are in good condition with no nicks or cracks. The globes measure approximately ten inches across at the bottom and 4.5 inches or so on the top. The entire lamp is 27 inches when measured from base to top of chimneys. I believe the chimneys are also original in that they look like old glass and they are the exact measurements of the original chimneys. One of the chimneys has some roughness around the base where it goes into the metal but it is not ... morechipped. If you collect these antique lamps. I think you are going to love this one. There are problems, but minimal. I see that there is one lamp socket that is sort of tipped to one side. There is some difficulty getting the round base for the chimney into the larger frame for the glass globe. But I think that all of these issues are probably just a part of owning a lamp like this. Antique Victorian kerosene oil lamp chandelier light fixture cranberry red shade
Spectacular late 19th century pulley kerosene/oil chandelier. Stunning red glass with slight swirl. This light has been electrified and in that process an additional Victorian era lamp canopy was added so this is READY TO INSTALL TO A JUNCTION BOX! The light was also repainted in a period appropriate rich gilt. The pulley action was not altered and it still works(though the wiring will bunch up if you pull on it) No damage to the shade. The cranberry red glass ball shade is 9" wide.

Antique Victorian Oil lamp shade 3" fitter white PINK cased glass
Up for bid is this vintage cased glass lamp shade. It is in good condition. It has a ground rim and the fitter side is ground also. It has a few tiny fleabites. But not bad. It is cased glass with white glass in the middle and pink on the outside and inside. This is thick glass. Authentic Victorian Era Antique Miniature Oil Lamp 6 1/2" Tall Great Condition
I will be listing more items of milk glass from the same estate collection. If you find more than one item you like. I'll happily combine shipping. This is a very pretty little oil lamp. It has the top. That screws down into the base. It has brass metal hardware, a milk glass base, and a clear glass chimney which looks and fits like it may be original to the lamp. The milk glass is very good condition with no damage. The only issue the oil lamp has is paint loss where the raised areas once were painted. There is no maker mark or mold mark on the glass and no marks on the brass. It stands approx. 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the chimney. If I have omitted any information, please send questions and I'll do my best to get you an answer.

These would both be hand made and so are very slightly different in size. The beautiful purple amethyst color of this glass is the result of the presence of manganese in the glass. A mineral that was pulverized and added to vats of liquid glass that acted as a decolorizing agent to turn the glass clear. Exposure to ultraviolet rays of the sun or other sources of UV rays, triggers a chemical reaction and the manganese oxidizes and turns a wonderful amethyst color. Many of our amethyst bottles have been purpled from years of exposure to natural sunlight, others have been purpled with the use of strong UV lights in a box, and still others have been purpled by running them through a sterilization(radiation) process, a safe and permanent process which does the same thing as exposure to natural sunlight, except much faster. Antique Victorian Cut Glass Oil Lamp with shade font burner base circa 1890
Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font A very High quality oil lamp indeed. A reeded stepped copper. Brass and china base houses a particularly good triple cut faceted glass font in perfect condition. The font is fitted with a classic hinks/messengers bayonet fitting collar which houses a very good hinks no2 Duplex rise and fall burner. The lamp is finished with an original victorian acid etched reeded globular shade. The overall height of the oil lamp including the chimney is 65cm 25 1/2 inches tall. The shade is just over 18cm tall and 20cm 8 inches wide. The diameter of the font is 17cm just shy of 7 inches. Postage UK £10. Europe £30, USA and Canada £45. This lovely antique lamp has a flawless green onyx and brushed bronze base. This heavy victorian beauty has been converted to electric and is ready for display in your home. A breath taking piece. Antique Victorian Glass Brass Oil Lamp Duplex Burner Vaseline Opalescent
A good heavy Victorian Oil Lamp. The lamp is complete. In working order and has been lightly cleaned to show its beauty but to preserve the antique element. It stands 13” 33cm tall. It is all original. There is no damage. Only the odd minor insignificant ding and split in the brass as would be expected of a genuine antique piece and commensurate with age. The stem is brass. The brass burner is marked English Made Duplex. The glass part is opalescent/ Vaseline glass and very decorative. All round it’s probably as good as it gets. Ready to use if you wish.
