For sale is a 1950s 2 arm industrial Jielde multi angle articulated machine ... morelamp. The aluminium elbows have been polished. The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. ANTIQUE DESK LAMP SPELTER METAL CHARIOT AND HORSES
Please note that handling time for this item is about a week after payment clears. Antique desk lamp. From bottom to top it stands 22 5/8 INCHES TALL. The base is 12 inches long. And 6 1/2 inches wide. I'm not sure of its exact age or any of its history. I purchased it at an antique store in 1996 or'97. It's in descent shape. The main problem is that three of the front hooves of the horses are broken off and missing. The shade. Which is metal, has come off and needs to be soldered back onto its spokes. As you can see in the photo, the lamp can rotate on its base, so it needs to be glued to the base again. Other than that there are the scratches and chipped paint you can see in the photos. A mouse took one small shallow bite off the rubber surface of the cord(it doesn't go down to the wire) And a small tear in the felt under ... morethe base. Bulbs have been tested and the lamp works. X 16" wide, the felt cover base bottom is 4-1/2" in diameter The glass shades measures approx. 5-1/2" tall x 6-3/4" in diameter. The two custards shades don't match totally. One is darker when turned on and is made of thicker glass, also it has a chip on the ruffled edges(see photos below) The brass lamp is in Very Good condition. With original brass patina, has a rotary Leviton on/off switch and good power cord. Some oxidation on the brass plated steel fitters and surface rust on the cast iron base.

For your consideration is a ultra rare brass FARIES dual arm desk lamp. The weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 22" tall. The 13" arms extend out to a total of 32" wide including the shades. The arms can be adjusted in height. Width as well as pivot with the shades 360 degrees, should you like. The antique milk glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do have straw marks from the manufacturing process. The matching brass paddle switch sockets are marked"circle F 250W 250V PAT JULY 6, 1909" and accept standard base bulbs(bulbs not included) The lamp has been rewired with 18 gauge cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The lamp has tarnish and wear, adding to the character. The lamp has been cleaned and given a hand rubbed wax finish, bringing out the wonderful patina. ... moreThe lamp has been carefully cleaned of its grime and buffed out with a soft cotton cloth. The base has only a couple tiny dings and some tight stress cracks on the bottom lip. The upper center column shows a brighter brass area where the arms have been positioned for years. Tiny shallow chip to white on inner edge- not visible on exterior. The next largest is marked: Made in Germany. It measures 3" tall by 8-3/4" wide by 4-1/2" deep. The holes on each end are 1/2" diameter. Teeny shallow- hardly visible- chip to back center edge. The smaller shade has a fine acid etched desgn. It is marked: Emer-lite, Czechoslovakia. Vintage Antique Signed Faries Industrial Brass Lamp Machine Age Desk Light
For your consideration is a signed brass FARIES flexible shaft bench lamp. The signed Faries weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 25" tall. The lamp retains an old chippy silver painted base that the brass shows through and looks great. The bare steel parabolic shade is 6 1/2" in diameter and has the Faries name embossed. The brass paddle switch socket is a PERKINS and accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The lamp has its original cloth covered wire and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The wiring I left alone as it works and looks pretty good. Just a couple of spots starting to fray. You must be the judge whether to use or replace. ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY PAD DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. It is also documented at the site leadedlamps.com under Handel lamps. The lily pad base of these lamps were made of cast iron and ... morethus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer pot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. Fortunately, it is in the least conspicuous spot. The underside. The framing for the petal is still intact. The missing piece can only be noticed by viewing the lamp from the back side(photo 11) or from the underside(photo 12) Because of Handel's overlapping petal pattern, the loss is barely noticable. Antique Desk/Table Lamp Frosted Glass Shade Flowers
This is an antique Table/Desk Lamp. It stands about 15 inches tall when assembled. The shade is about 6 inches in diameter and about 6 inches in height. The base is painted metal with a lined design. The shade is made of frosted glass with a floral pattern. The base color is white with a mild blue accent There is no electrical component installed but one can easily be added. The lamp is in very good condition for its age. The base has some chipped and scratched paint which can be touched up. The shade is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. It is dirty and dusty. I did not try to clean it. Due to its delicate nature. I estimate this lamp to be circa late 1800's to early 1900's. Antique Metal Adjustable Clip On Bed Headboard Desk Bench Lamp Light
This listing is for an antique metal. Adjustable clip-on lamp. I don't see a maker's mark. It measures about 7.25" high, and the shade is 4.25" front to back and 4" across the opening. The lamp has a twist switch. It has a clamp that screws down to tighten it the the headboard or table. There is a piece of felt in the clamp to protect the clamped surface. The wires in the shade are cloth covered, but the cord it not, so the lamp must have been re-wired at some time. The screw on the back of the shade is rusty, and the clamp screw has surface rust. We did test the lamp, and it does work. The clamp also works properly. Shipping is based on 4lbs, packed weight.

This is a really wonderful signed Bradley and Hubbard(Meridan. CT) brass desk lamp in the Arts and Crafts, or Mission, style. Piece has a pretty paneled glass shade in caramel and green-glass is all original. I have had this piece rewired for safety purposes. The brass has developed a mellow smooth appearance over time. Antique Carved Marble Egyptian Sphinx Electric Table Desk Night Light Lamp Decor
Antique Vintage 30's.40's Egyptian Sphinx electric wired lamp. Carved out of marble on a marble base. Works Perfectly! No on/off switch just plug in and enjoy. The small bulb sits within the sphinx in a small carved or hollowed out space in the base. Beautiful rare item in great condition. Measures 8 1/4"L x 2 7/8"W x 4 1/4"H. Electric cord is 6 feet 2 inches long or 74" Weighs 3 lbs unpacked. Very unique and rare old piece. There were many sphinx like statues in ancient Egypt. Most lined the entrances of huge temples like Ipet Resyt. Today known as Luxor Temple in Thebes, also known as Waset to the ancient Egyptians. The Great Sphinx of the Giza plateau is one of the oldest structures on the planet. The name sphinx comes from Greek folklore. RARE Antique Brass Adjustible Desk Table Library Piano Lamp Pat 1890 Socket
For your consideration, RARE" Original late 19th or early 20th Century American Table or Desk Lamp. No makers mark found. Socket looks to be a 3rd generation GECo. Has Pat September 25, 90 stamped on the brass ring. Cord& glass shade look to be period correct. The plug appears to be a new replica replacement. Glass shade does have small chipping spots that you cant see on the top rim where it is attached by the three knurled screws. Adjusts from 13-1/2" tall up to 23" tall. Vtg Antique Faries Guardsman Jr Industrial Brass Lamp Machine Age Desk Light
For your consideration is a FARIES MFG CO desk lamp. The signed weighted base is 5 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 17" tall. The shade is 13" in diameter and has areas of brass plating loss. The socket cup has a stress crack running its length(see last photo) The cups are readily available for replacement and the lamp would be a great candidate for replating. This push button desk lamp is in Good condition because although it needs to be rewired and the base paint is nicked. The elephant and glass globe are in MINT vintage condition. This interesting elephant lamp measures 9 inches long, 5.75 inches wide and 6 inches tall. It weighs 4 pounds plus 14 ounces. The glass globe has a flowering tree branch decoration on the sides.
