Antique Carved Italian Alabaster Marble Parlor Table Lamp Carved in Neoclassical Style with very dramatic veining in the marble on ornate urn shape design. Lamp stands 26" high to finial- 14" to top of carved marble- 4.5" diameter at base and 5.5 across the middle of the carving. Very good vintage condition with one minor chip on base at front corner and some rubbing on the finial which looks to be marble also. Brass metal with double lamp and pull strings for lighting. ALABASTER TABLE LAMP BASE WITH METAL FOOT AND GREAT ANTIQUE SHADE
Great vintage lamp with alabaster base and metal foot. Cord is frayed beyond repair and will need to be replaced. Also. One of the chain pulls is missing. Overall height is 23 inches. The shade is 17 inches wide and 9 1/2 tall. The shade is not in great shape and you may not even want it sent. It is torn on the inside and there are some large stains on the inside and outside. One side of the stone base has a dark vein running through it which looks good, to me, but if you wanted a cleaner look, the other side could be facing out and it is uniform in color. Fine Alabaster and Bronze Chandelier-approx 40" in Diameter-in near perfect condition. We obtained this piece from an estate sale of a mansion in Buenos Aires. Argentina. The Estate representative indicated that it had been imported from Italy by a wealthy immigrant family in the late 1800's. We paid $2,500 including shipping in 2005. The wiring was updated for USA voltage and installed it in our home for a number of years. Now we live in a much smaller home that is not scaled for this piece and thus must part with it. Antique 1920's White ALABASTER & MARBLE Carved SWAN EGRET HERON Bird Table Lamp
Up for your consideration is this absolutely exquisite antique carved white Alabaster and Marble table lamp from the 1920's. This lamp depicts a long necked bird with it's wings spread- I believe the bird is either a swan. Egret or heron. Absolutely stunning detail and the white color really stands out. The lamp has two lights with individual pull switches so that you can adjust the amount of light. Measures 27.5 inches tall from the base to the finial and 9.5 inches wide without a shade(no shade included) This lamp is quite heavy because the alabaster and marble portion alone measures approx. 12.5 inches. In excellent condition. One small chip on the wing of one bird(enlarge pic#9, wing of bird on right near legs) There is a painted portion of the lamp above the alabaster that has chipped cream paint as well. Best of all the lamp ... moreworks! This lamp would go beautifully into many decorating styles- Victorian, Art Nouveau, Traditional, etc. So stunning! I fell in love with this lamp when I found it at a Buffalo. NY antique shop over 12 years ago, the owner of the shop claimed it was a 1920's lamp when I purchased it. I believe this lamp is one-of-a-kind and/or repurposed, see extra hole on base of lamp. It is difficult to date this lamp to the exact year, however, the"Arrow" company name is on the light sockets. Arrow was in business from 1904-1927. Arrow applied for patents on pull-style light sockets in 1909-1911 and 1915(see antiquesockets.com) Therefore, I believe this lamp dates circa 1920's(could be earlier) Square base is white marble. Carved portion is white alabaster. Finial has a hole that goes all the way through the top. ANTIQUE Colonial Premier # 252 Brass Cast Iron Alabaster Bridge Arm Lamp
Up for bid is an antique turn of the century Brass and Cast Iron and Alabaster Bridge Arm Floor Lamp by Colonial Premier. It has the early number of 252 in the designs produced. The Lamp is not wired but has the tubed arm for the socket and Glass Shade and the Cord to extend out the other side. There is no opening in the Brass Pole or Alabaster for a Cord. The design is hammered Brass and Victorian Floral Brass with an Arrow Peak that is in excellent condition as is the top parts of the Pole. The last Pole portion and Base are Cast Iron with Brass overlay and does show some surface oxidation and patina that will clean up with a good polishing. The Alabaster Base is in good condition with just a few minor nicks. Not sure how you clean this surface. But it looks nice how it is. It has one small flaw on top in the casting. The fountain has bronze patinated faces where the water would come down into the fountain through the faces mouths. The nude woman is off white and the alabaster fountain has variegated brown and beige colors. When plugged in with the light on the water portion of the fountain lights up at the base. It makes a beautiful night light. The seated lady measures 12-1/2 inches from her toe to the top of her head. She would be 20 inches tall by herself if she stood straight up. GORGEOUS GIRANDOLE. This is for an old alabaster lamp with lots of hanging crystal spear prisms. Its old but wiring does work but should definitely be checked by a professional. Its marble and you can see the different colors its mostly cream with some brownish areas coming through. Its old and has a great look if you love crystals like myself. It will add drama to any room I assure you. Probably some knicks to crystals nothing too major though. There is a small knick to the top finial. Also I like to mention everything so 2 of the arms are 9" tall and the other 2 are about 8.5" high from base. Beautiful Hollywood Regency Italian Deeply Carved Alabaster Marble Urn Shape Table Lamp with beautiful Open Work Metal Trim. The bottom metal work between the foot and pedestal looks like twigs and the urn base has a leaf design. The top of the urn shape is deeply carved and the wide band has a row of what looks like flowers. Below that are vertical lines running down to the metal that holds the urn shape. The next area of marble is square and the bottom base is square. The lamp has the original finial. The lamp measure 32" to the top of the finial and 20" to the top of the socket. The lamp is quite heavy weighing almost 11 lbs. so it will be heavy to ship. The lamp works well and the wiring looks very good. I had two of these which I sold and one was damaged in transit. This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone heavy cast metal(not cast iron) ornate base. Stem and ornate shade holder with beautiful light toned cream colored alabaster accents on the stem and base with swirls of brown and red in them. The cream color glass torchiere shade is just under 16.5" wide and made of very thick glass. It is has a floral embossed pattern around the top rim. It is in excellent shape with only some slight chips around the bottom rim where it has rubbed against its fitting into the metal stem which is commiserate with normal vintage/antique wear. NO cracks ... moreanywhere. The base of the lamp has a push button on/off to turn on the base nightlight separately from the top light. Flaws: There is one small chip in the alabaster on the base that is shown in the last picture near the on/off foot switch. A pair of matching Antique Italian Alabaster Marble Urn Style Lamp Circa 1900 no makers hallmarks Hand carved off white in color Italian alabaster marble lamp with gorgeous gray veining. These are not brilliant white and have antiqued patina to them. Bottom has" Italy" etched into it. Measurements of the lamp it self is 9" tall. Antique Alabaster Marble Hand Carved Neoclassical Urn Table Lamp 26" Ivory Gray
Antique Urn Style Lamp Beautiful hand carved alabaster marble lamp with gorgeous ivory. White, tan and gray coloring Lamp is in very good condition there are a few flaws- some chipping around center band piece and two chips on the top edge of the carved design. Bottom did have felt attached but was removed to repair with the new wiring and top electrical parts. There is still some of the felt res idue on bottom. I was told the l amp was from around the late 1890's or early 1900's. I purchased the lamps many years ago from a women in her 60's and the lamps belonged to her grandparents. Measurements of the lamp it self is 14 3/4" tall. With l ight bulb socket and lamp shade bracket it is 26" tall. Bottom base is 4 3/4" square. I have another matching lamp that I have not listed. It has more chips and is in worse condition ... morethen this one but they do make a great pair. Please let me know if you would be interest ed in it as well. Vintage - Antique Art Deco Carved 'Alabaster / Marble' Mantle Lamp. pre - 1940
Vintage- Antique Art Deco Carved'Alabaster/ Marble' Mantle Lamp circa 1920's- 1940's This item is from an estate and has been in storage for many years. This vintage i tem is in very good condition for its age. The lamp was tested to work as seen in the photos. The'alabaster/ marble' sculpture is clean and crack free. The base is in good condition it is however missing one of the 4 original matching feet. To make the item'even' I removed the third'odd' foot and replaced it with two I had(please see photos 11 and 12) They unfortunately are not as tall nor ornate as the originals hence the the'lean' in some of the pictures. I have packed the odd third foot as well as a set of matching new feet to ship with this lamp. Though the new feet are not as ornate. They are there to use as an option if ... moredesired. The lamp does has a'chip' it is located on the back- right hand back side. right hand side as you view from the front) may be viewed in photos# 7 and# 8 its about 3/4 distance from the base. I try my best to capture all the features and flaws of this antique lamp. Please be sure to use all the photos attached to evaluate this piece. I don't see any other noteworthy issues but I leave the final opinion with you. As such this item is sold'as is' The lamp does work fine and comes with an extra bulb as well as the hardware described above. Even with its set backs it's still a very interesting antique early to mid century item. A nice addition for a room or your collection.
