Exquisite Pair of 1800s Old Paris Porcelain Lamps Offered for auction are this breathtaking pair of Old Paris lamps from the 1800s which have been converted to electric. Intricate metal work throughout featuring several type s of metal. T riple sided base and collars of bronze/brass in stunning. Detailed botanical designs. Hand painted porcelain lamp bases feature multi-colored flower designs in the style of the Old Paris artisans. Gold gild decorations around the collars show wear from cleaning as shown in photos. Bronze collars are very detailed with flowers, leaves and other botanical designs. Around t he top of the collars there are separate rings which turn around at the top of the collar. One collar has the original key in it which moves around. The other has the round wick adjustment stem but it is fixed in place. This listing is for a unique brass candle stick made by A. Barrett& Sons of London. Circa 1860-1870. The cylinder contains a spring which pushes the candle up to maintain an evenly burning candle. There is a crest affixed on the bottom front of the shaft that reads: A. Barrett& Sons. 63& 64 Picadilly, London. There is a crown within the crest above the lettering, and a"W" below the lettering. Antique Mid-1800s Whale Oil Lamp: Molded Glass. Brass& Marble 12 ¾ inches Tall Presented is a nice antique whale oil lamp. Suitable for use today with lamp oil. The well for the oil is heavy glass, molded in three parts(the three vertical mold lines are very slightly visible) It has twelve semi-circular segments decorating the widest part of the glass. The glass has a brass collar or rim at the top. It is mounted to a brass pedestal with a stepped foot. Which itself is mounted to a square marble base. Please scroll down to see our photographs. The oil lamp is from the mid 1800s. There have been some repairs to this piece. Namely where the glass joins the brass pedestal. The original plaster of Paris was loose at some time and was glued. The glue has yellowed and is visible. Glue is visible also inside the top of the glass where it ... morehas dripped down from where the brass rim was re-applied at some time. Antique Victorian Bohemian Prism Mantle Luster Late 1800s Czechaslovakia RED/WHI
Bohemian Mantle Lusters are glass Victorian candlesticks circa late 1800s with dangling prisms. It was considered the height of luxury in the Victorian era to have mantle lusters in your homes on display. This Bohemian piece was made in the Czech Republic. Then Czechaslovakia. This style is called"CUT TO RUBY" It is made by first blowing glass into a ruby color, then encasing that in white glass. They then cut the designs out of the white to expose the ruby underneath. This beautiful piece is very ornate. It has no chips or cracks in any area. Please look closely at my photos. I know personally that this lovely mantle has been very well taken care of.

Antique 1800s Victorian Fostoria Oil Lamp GWTW Hand Painted Original Font, Wick
This is a stunning antique Fostoria"Gone With the Wind" oil lamp featuring lovely hand painted glass and original Fostoria Font. The font is marked Fostoria Patented Sept. 9.90 Apr. 11.93 Apr. 30.95- this dates the lamp to the 1890s. Wick adjustment knob is marked Made in U.S. of America, it is also marked 246 on the brass bottom. It also comes with a wick but I'm not sure if it is still usable. I do not have the top shade but a puffy Fostoria pink, green, blue or any such shade would work very well as a replacement. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, I have left the original patina on the brass which is just gorgeous! I have not tried to use it but it looks like it should be functional with a new wick. I will be listing lots and lots of lamps and lamp shades on a regular basis.
