This is a great Victorian Brass 1 Arm Gas Sconce that has been Electrified and is ready to hang. Dated Aug 14, 1894. Measures 12&1/2 inches tall, 12&1/2 inches deep, brass embossed wall plate is 4&1/8 wide and 6 inches tall. The original Victorian Floral pattern Gas Shade is 4 inches tall, 7&1/2 inches wide, and the base is 3&15/16 inches wide. The original shade and the brass victorian wall sconce are both problem free. I am helping my Aunt and Uncle clear out their family’s collection. My Uncle’s father and Aunt were in the service and they were stationed in many different countries and parts of the United States. I am NOT an expert on any of these items. The information I list is gathered by what my Aunt and Uncle recall from stories and memories. I also gather information from similar auctions. I apologize if I don’t have the correct information on any of these items. It is not intentional. I have tried to give you as many pictures as possible to help you“see” the items. Set of 2 Antique Vintage Victorian Ceramic Figurine Brass Lamps Man Woman. Set of 2 white ceramic figurine lamps with hand painted( gold trim. They are sitting on what looks to me like brass. But not 100% sure. They are in excellent condition. With no chips or cracks that I could find ... moreon the figures. I didn’t see anything wrong with the brass either. I haven’t seen any exactly like them on eBay. The lamps are 12” tall and 4” wide. The make figure is 7 ¾” tall x 3 ½” wide and the female is 7 ½” tall x 3 ¾” wide. When plugged in the boy lamp works. But the little push button to turn on and off doesn’t. We could not get the girl lamp to turn on. The numbers A566 are on the bottom. No other markings that I could find. These were my Aunt’s Grandmother’s lamps so early 1900s! You have to get these before they are gone! THE SHIPPING COST DOES INCLUDE INSURANCE! Vintage 40's 50's desk lamp student lamp hand painted Victorian
This is a wonderful looking 1940's or 50's well made accent or student/ table lamp. It is brass and hand painted glass. The art is of a floral design around the glass. The hurricane or upper portion of lamp is missing but could be replaced. The lamp is around 9" tall and 5 1/4" wide it has the vintage key switch to turn on and off and its vintage receptacle cord. Vintage Victorian Porcelain Lamp; Bedside, Desk, Vanity, Powder Room
This dainty little porcelain lamp is a beauty. It came from the estate of a Victorian lady's boudoir. Circa mid 1930s. Even though that is later than the Victorian era, I understand from the family she was truly a Victorian Lady! The porcelain lamp is in near pristine condition and the only flaws I can find are a couple of areas of almost microscopic paint loss on the gold gilt"handles" The base appears to be brass with heavy patina at first glance but I think it may be made of iron or some other heavy metal. The lamp works and has what appears to be the original cloth covered wire which is in good condition. The plug is Leviton and is. I believe, Bakelite. The bulb receptacle, made by Eagle, appears to be a replacement. The harp is missing and there is no shade. With the addition of the right shade, I would think the lamp could ... moreeasily be used without a harp. It stands about 13-1/2" high to the top of the bulb receptacle and about 6" wide at the widest point. This would be lovely in shabby. We are pleased to offer for auction: A Lovely Victorian or Edwardian era Elegant Hand Painted Amber Glass Crystal Hanging Parlour Lamp The two Glass Lamp Shades each have a lovely Floral Pattern Design Hand Painted in white paint on the outside of the glass. All the way around each shade. The Chain. Wiring and Metal frame are all in very good condition! There is a very light hint of rust forming in the chamber where the bulb sits. This could be easily resolved with a little Steel Wool and some Oil. There is a small chip(3/8" wide) on the bottom rim edge of the top/larger shade. This does not show when the lamp is together. Otherwise the shades are in excellent condition! This lamp was originally an oil lamp. It has been converted ... moreto electric! The lamp shades did have"Cranberry" Flashing on the insides. Cranberry is a blend of Ruby Red and Gold. The Cranberry flashing became dried, and completely washed off. The glass is Medium Amber color. We have included some photos taken with a RED Light Blub in the lamp. Without the red bulb the lamp emits a soft Amber color. The lamp is overall in excellent condition. And works perfectly! The base is brass colored cast aluminum or pot metal(a magnet does not stick to it) But the rod that contains the wire up to the lamp socket is a brass-colored metal that has some discoloration. The figurines appear to be made of a porcelain bisque and are painted nicely ... morewith much detail. The main issue with condition is that the delicate fingers on both have suffered some damage but it is only noticeable upon close inspection and does not deter from their overall beauty. The original. Glass shades ~ 3 blue ones and a large, white, opaque dome ~ are in excellent condition. We have the matching blue globe for the center. Kerosene lamp, but it is not pictured. Each of the globes measures about 4 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" in diameter. Thus there are 4 blue globes-3 outer. But in researching this piece, I've found it to be prominent in the 50's/60's. There are no manufacturer markings to aid me in further research. The lamp itself. I'm assuming, is bronze. It's in great shape with minor spots on the lily pad. There are two on the right side and a few dots scattered throughout. I guess that's pretty good for a lamp of this age. The lily pad shows the veins and is quite pretty. There is also a bud coming out of the pad and three unopened flowers. Any flaws are in the photographs so please look before bidding. The flower shade has a small spot where the metal spring clasps land on the inside. It is possible this can ... morebe removed but it does not deter from the beauty. The shade is white with the very slightest hint of pink. There are white markings cascading down the shade. The cord is not frayed and the on/off switch works well. Stunning Vintage French Victorian Style Lamp Made of cast iron and bronze. This lamp makes an impressive statement. Bronze scrolling vines hold two tiers of crystals. One lower branch is missing two crystals. Measures 43.5" tall from base to the top of the finnial. Base is 9" wide. Shade is 20" wide and 15" tall. Holds two bulbs each with its own pull chain. The shade is elegantly decorated with gold/copper/bronze beading. All beads are in excellent condition. This is a very heavy. Solid piece of art/lighting. The lamp weighs approximately 21 pounds. This is a really nice Victorian/Downton Abbey-style floor lamp. It measures 66" tall from bottom base to top of shade. The shade measures 24" top to bottom. And 72" around at the largest part. It is silk with silk brocade fringe. It looks cream colored in the photos but there is actually a pink hue to it. Midway up the stand is a 15" around glass piece wrapped around the pole, which is referred to as a smoking stand. The cord at the bottom is original and has been protected by a metal cord.
