It's very heavy and beautifully carved with tusks up the legs and around the top, and the legs resemble trunks. It isn't flawless and has wear from age and use including a chip at the top of one of the legs as shown in pictures 8, 9, and 11. There are some red stains, perhaps can be removed but we didn't try in order not to compromise the finish on the wood; I noticed them when looking close. The most noticeable spot of red can be seen by zooming in on picture 7. Although it's in good condition, you might want to glue and tighten up some of the seams. It is 17-1/2" in height x 13" across the top x 16" across the legs. It weighs a glorious 19 lbs. My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting ... morethe finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? Please do examine the pictures carefully but note that any bright white and/or yellow spots on pics are just glare/flash! Hello. I m offering this Mid Century Modern Stiffel lamp. The piece stands 32 1/2" high and shade has a diameter of 20" marble base is 12" x 6 1'2" Great line with this very rare Stiffel lamp one of the hardest to find. With mounted lift off candy or nut dish. There is a stiffel label as per photo 6. Faded somewhat. The shade which is orginal has some old tape marks inside and some paper tears all pretty much on the inside, I have the photos shown all sides of shade. Stunning Vintage Maison Jansen Hollywood Regency Brass Steel Marble Floor Lamp
Absolutely stunning Maison Jensen floor lamp. That is a must for any home with similar period decor. The lamp is in wonderful original condition with no issues. This piece was aquired from a home with a substantial collection of high end pieces and is not often seen. We have seen one table version of this piece but never the impressive floor version. The lamp has dual sockets with original chain pulls and is constructed of solid brass and brushed stainless steel. The Italian gray vein marble center table, is 5/8" thick. The lamp has both gazelle heads and feet as accent pieces. The silver foil cylindrical shade is original to the lamp. The lamp stands an impressive 57' tall and 14" in dia. VINTAGE Signed Prof. G. Gambogi. Alabaster/marble gypsy 1900's lamp Very Rare
You are bidding on a very rare signed Prof. G. Gambogi light. This piece is made from marble(at base) to the gypsy being alabaster. The four little figures holding the light are made of brass. It is made in Italy. The globe is not original to this piece. The family who owns this piece had it for 40 years and prior to her recieving this piece it was her fathers. And she remembers it from when she was young. This piece weighs about 40 to 45lbs, it has great detail, and constructed to last. It is more beautiful in person. I am not an expert, I have this out for appraisal, and to verify the signature, I took pictures and from the hx I got on this piece, I believe it to be the real deal, but you be the judge. The ht of this from base to top of her head 16" width of base is 8 1/2" and the length of base is 11" the thickness of the ... morebase is about 1 3/4" The statue itself is 14 1/2" to her feather. On black marble base, signed with label on base and stamp on bottom. Circa 1950s. Gorgeous vintage Italian piece. Perhaps the definition of Hollywood Regency lamp- glamourous, bold, visually striking. Original tole wheat sheafs set upon a polished black Italian marble base, with metal feet. Lamp measures 48" to finial top, 37" to top of socket. I've found these much more scarce than the wheat sheaf tables. Pull chain single socket. Finial deosn't appear original. SHADE NOT INCLUDED. But the size is 15" tall/13" diameter with an offset of about 4"5" down from top if you like it's proportion. It is not a great shade but the size and color complement ... morethis lamp well. It did not come with this lamp originally. Condition is VG+vintage- there is aging and patina. Maybe even some very mild oxidation to metal portions. It has not been repainted as is often seen on pieces of this type. Marble is clean and beautiful. there may be a small crack which I did not notice until my super close camera shot(may be fill from maker) Similar patina on small legs. The wheat/leaves do not appear to have been bent or messed with. Vintage Hollywood Regency Pair (2) Neoclassical Column Brass & Marble Lamps
NO E-CHECKS PLEASE. A beautiful pair if column lamps in very good as found as shown condition. Both blink on and off and will need new sockets. No chips of cracks on the marble. The metal parts appear to be brass but i am not certain. A magnet is not attracted to these. The harps on these do not match. RARE LARGE Antique Vintage Italian Tole Gold Gilt Hollywood Regency Table Lamp or Light w Crystal/ Glass Prisms and Solid Marble or Alabaster Base! This is a beautiful and stately Original Italian Toleware piece standing approx 30.5" tall to top of socket. And 43" Tall to top of harp. Loaded with 30 light-dazzling crystal or glass prisms, 15 sets of smaller octagon holding a larger tear-shape Italian faceted prism. The prisms are vintage original and NOT modern additions. The base is VERY HEAVY and SOLID Marble or Alabaster(measuring approx 3" Wide/Deep x 4.5" Tall and is even beveled on the top! What a sign of quality detail! very beautiful and also functional to appropriately weight the lamp down as it is rather tall. There are a couple of small nicks or scratches in one side of the marble which should show in pic 6- ... morenot a chip but small scratches on side w dark smudges. Not significant to us but perhaps to you. The very bottom decorative brass portion of base is approx 5" square. It's in working order(as shown in pics) But sometime the cord is a little persnickety. If you don't move it around it is fine, but sometimes during movement it gets picky. This hasn't been an issue for us as we always left it in one place, but wanted to mention for full disclosure. Likewise, although I had NEVER noticed prior to taking pics and inspecting fully for listing purposes) I think it is actuallly missing one leaf. We've had it for ages and I never noticed this before, even when I originally purchased it, as due to the type of lamp style it could be easily overlooked as I had done. Again, only mentioning for full disclosure. The beautiful prisms will be removed and wrapped separately from lamp for safety in shipping. Sale does not include the shade or standard bulb(for display purposes only) but does in fact include the harp. I have listed this to be shipped via USPS. This lovely antique lamp has a flawless green onyx and brushed bronze base. This heavy victorian beauty has been converted to electric and is ready for display in your home. A breath taking piece. Height from base to top of finial is 34.5" Width of base is 7.5" Width of shade is 18" and height of shade is 11.5" Total height of lamp with shade is 38" This rare lamp is in great vintage condition and is absolutely gorgeous. It's is quality made and is extremely heavy! I could not find any cracks or chips on the base or glass slag shade. Bright and shiny Electric Floor Lamp by FENSIN- unusual with respect both to design and condition! The manufacturer's label by Fensin which shows Chicago 21. Illinois began in 1943 for large cities. The veined marble-like disk above the base softens the brilliance of the nickel/chrome finish- which appears to be in very good shape. It has a swing arm on the top and the plastic arm on the top has one end which takes a four prong bulb and the other side is empty. Beautiful Vintage Solid (30 lb) Marble and Brass Standing Floor Electric Lamp
You are bidding on a beautiful marble and brass floor lamp. Very very heavy piece weighing almost 30 pounds. Lamp itself measures from top of harp to bottom of base 62" height base measures 11" square. The very top part is a hard plastic but the rest is solid marble and brass. Due to the age of the lamp the finish on the marble is flaking off but an easy fix. The base itself has no cracks that you can feel from the outside there are some streaking that looks like it it could be a crack but its inner and this would have to be a manufacturer flaw but again it could just be the streaks in the marble itself. The marble on the top of the base does have a crack. But its not a thru and thru, the piece cracked but is still stable on the base itself) The sides of the marble on the base looks like it has some discoloration from probably the ... moreglue they used to hold the pieces together but shows no cracking. As I previously said the discoloration is mainly the top coat over the marble on the base flaking off. I probably went overboard with the description but I want buyer to be aware of any and all flaws. None of these flaws hurts the integrity of this lamp it is absolutely beautiful. The shade will not come with the lamp it does have a rip in it. For the utmost protection I will have the lamp professionally packed and a special box made for it. It will be shipped via fedex ground directly to your door insured with direct signature required. Fedex has proven to be the safest way I have found to ship. The green marble is very pretty with nice veining& a finished edge. Brass medallions encircle the top of the lamp above the bows and floral swags. The lamp is marvellously vintage chipped& looks awesome! The lamp shade holder is brass, fitted for a globe style shade. The fitting is 2 1/4" across and has all screws. You could use a lamp shade fixture, the type that clamps onto the light bulb then has a screw piece that sticks up from the clamp which you are able to screw a normal style lamp shade onto the lamp, if you don't have a globe. It features heavy glass and an Italian marble base of gently swirled white. Gray and black. This is the sort of lamp that takes a clip-on shade. It has a simple push button on/off.
