VINTAGE COLD PAINTED BRONZE ARABIC LAMP BASE MOORISH DESIGN PARTS OR REPAIR! This auction is for a vi n tage lamp base that appears to be cold painted bronze with old polychrome painting. Acquired many years ago from an elderly gentleman who indicated that this was a lamp and had fallen off a table and the tube arrangement that concealed the cord broke off(you can see the hole where the tube was attached) He also said there had been an Arabi an man in a chair mounted on the carpet(you can see where parts were soldered) He had lost or thrown out the parts and this is what remained. You can see a chest with a scimitar and also a moorish style table with bottle type container. The base is not completely level and may have been bent a little when dropped. It is approx 7 3/4" square x 4" tall at the top of the bottle or decanter on the ... moretable. We can not find markings identifying the maker, but the piece is dirty and perhaps something could be foun d. Vintage Bronze and Porcelain Floral Design Table Lamp Up for auction an amazing vintage Bronze and porcelain lamp. This lamp is in near perfect overall condition. No chips, cracks or other flaws in the porcelain or bronze, and in good working condition, the only flaw is it does not have a shade or finial. It stands 33" tall to the mount for the shade, the base is 5" square. The floral design on a white back round of raised bumps is probably from the late 40's to early 50's, Italian or French would be my best guess. I can find no makers marks or other identifying features anywhere on the lamp. Please look over the pics and forward any questions at least a day before the auction ends to allow me time to respond. The marble portion is about 1 foot 3.5 inches high and the lamp is 6 inches wide at the figural heads. I would date the lamp to be 100 +/ years old. FINE Vintage Bronze Clad Rams Head in Relief Lamp Hollywood Regency Neoclassical* FRESH ESTATE FIND. Presenting a stellar vintage Hollywood Regency to Neoclassical bronze-clad(over spelter metal) ram's head lamp in high relief. There is a copper-colored patina on the surface finish in some of the places around the rams heads. This lamp shows incredible detail and extraordinary workmanship. I would date it to the 1940's. When you turn the lamp over. You can see a silver spelter metal underneath which is coated with a bronze-colored metal. It reminds me a lot of the bronze-clad bookends I have seen by Armor and Pompeian, but is actually a bit more detailed and well-done. I couldn't find any marks. Measures 19 1/2" tall to the top of the bronze-clad section and 34" tall to the top of the finial. The base measures 9" ... moreacross at the widest part. The body of this striking ram's head lamp is in excellent condition with just a gorgeous aged patina. There is one tiny thin area on the base where a hint of silver metal is showing. The section just below the metal harp is a bit loose. And the harp and finial have some tarnish. The lamp looks to have been rewired recently, and the three-way light works great. This fine high-quality vintage Hollywood Regency rams head lamp is even more stunning in person! This item needs restoration as it's missing a light socket cap and pull chain. For that reason. I have not attempted to test the other socket. I found it in an old garage at an estate sale recently. Up for auction is a Vintage Pre-40s Art Nouveau Nude Woman Figurine Bronze Lamp with Globe Shade. This is a beautiful piece. There is no damage whatsoever to this lamp. I have tested it and it works with no issue. The Globe Shade is not damaged as well. There is some discoloration around the base of the globe but I think it is from it setting on the bronze. A little rubbing compound should remove the staining. It is slight. I was unable to establish the origin of this lamp, and I am a very good researcher. At the base of the lamp there is the word Moonlight. I have found another lamp with an identical globe and words written at the base similar to this lamp. However, the origin of the lamps eludes the other seller as well. What is a fact is that it is pre-1940. The cord is an easy indicator as well as the design of the lamp.
