The shade is quite large and features a total of 16 slag glass panels. The larger glass panels are a dark purple with rainbow swirls along with a marbled light blue panels. Offered for auction. A beautiful double sided estate bought vintage boudoir lamp. The lamp is a heavy nonmagnetic metal. The metal is beautifully painted with soft cream and green. The center has a great porcelain period female figure. The details in this lamp are really nice. The lamp works with a switch on the base. The bulbs are covered with lace trimmed shades that are threaded and screw onto the bulb holders. These bulb holders have a ball on the top that allow the angle of the shade to be adjusted. Hi. You are bidding on a very unusual Florentine Italian metal tole table lamp. It is huge. Measuring 42 inches from base to tip of finial. This lamp will not disappoint those looking for something Hollywood Regency and unusual. It is filled with metal gold gilt tole leaves climbing on the metal frame. On the inside there is a small mini chandelier that swings and has a light filament so that you can light that part up as well. I will auction that the lamp needs to have a professional look at the wiring. There is a small bulb inside of that mini chandelier, and there is a cord that dips down into that area. But the top area has the wiring coming out and detached, so it won't work unless it is rewired. This lamp does not have a shade. The metal is in good condition throughout. Metal portion of lamp measures 21" With wood base& lamp hardware 44-1/2" tall. The center of the lamp is 5" across at it's widest. It features a pierced scroll pattern(see through both sides) and overlapping fan motif on the solid sides. Antique Art Deco Or Nouveau Bronzed Metal Table Lamp Kneeling Woman With Globe
Winner gets a gorgeous. Original Art Deco or Art Nouveau metal lamp with a kneeling woman and amber crackle glass globe. I think the metal is just spelter with a bronze finish. Although not 100% sure of the composition, I'm just making an educated guess. The lamp itself has a great patina consistent with it's age. There is no damage at all to the base or the globe. There are no chips or cracks on the base. The globe is also chip and crack free. The only thing I will mention is the fixture that the globe sits on is a little loose. It is not damaged or a defect, it is just the way the lamp was produced. The height of the lamp with the globe is roughly 16" The bases measures roughly 4.5" x 5" The globe is about 5" in diameter. Robert Faries started making lamps and other accessories in Decatur. Illinois back in 1894 and continued until 1940's. This lamp has 2 adjustable arms with original brass wing nuts and screws. This lamp stands appx 15" tall to the 1st arm adjustment and another 10" to the tip of the clam shell shade. The 2 arms are brass tubes with wooden rollers in between the clamps for the wiring to roll over on. The base is very heavy and has a cast iron inner piece and covered with the brass you see where the FARIES name is stamped. The shade is not likely original to the base lamp but is vintage. And has been primed for the inside and painted gold on the ... moreoutside. The shade measures appx 6.5" in diameter. Base diameter is appx 5.5" and the long upright swivels around. The red cloth on the base appears to be original to the lamp. Sporting a hole near the middle. The lamp bulb is not offered with this lamp. Offered is a very unique and ornate metal table lamp that has a flower theme to it. There are colorful metal flowers and stems and leaves that make up the majority of the lamp. The lamp appears to be very old. But the light socket and cord look new. Not sure if this is a new lamp made to look old, as the paint has a nice patina to it that could only come from age, or if it is an old lamp that has had the cord and socket replaced. For sale today is a real nice Antique Metal Ornate Table Lamp with an Opaque Fluted Glass Shade. The Lamp is still in great shape! I tested it and found it to work perfectly! The socket that holds the bulb is firmly attached and the on off switch works as it should. I looked but could not find any makers name or marks. But the number#23 was engraved in the bottom by the original manufacturer(see photos) The Lamp is heavy, and measures about 16 inches tall and the base is about 4.5 inchs. There are no chips or cracks in the Fluted Glass Shade. The Lamp retains the original, mellow and worn finish on all the metal parts. The electrical cord is also in great shape. RIVIERE GRAPEVINE ETCHED METAL OVERLAY TABLE LAMP, TIFFANY HANDEL B+H ERA
For Auction is an Arts and Crafts style overlay slag glass table lamp made at the turn of the century. I believe this table lamp is made by Riviere Brass& Bronze Works of New York. New York. The table lamp is a nice desk size as it stands 22 1/2" tall to the top crown of the shade and is 18 1/4" diagonal measurement or is 12 3/4" square. The shade is 10" tall sitting on its fitter set-up. The shade has a wonderful Arts + Crafts 4 sided shape with that is made up of Green and Beige Opalescent Glass with a crown. The Deep Green Opalescent top is accented with a radically slumped or bent beige opalescent bottom row of glass. The Construction method is that of brass channel similar to the construction of the Tiffany Studios desk set Items. The bottom slumped row is further embellished with a"Grapevine" etched ... moremetal overlay pattern on top of the glass. The base is a single light and has a 4 sided flat bottom. The shade is supported by the shade holder with 3 screws under the socket locking the shade in place. The shade and base are considered to be in excellent condition. There is no broken or cracked glass and no missing filigree on the shade. The base is also in excellent condition and I put felt on the bottom after I photographed it to protect your furniture. The shade and the base are unsigned. There is a raised area on the base that appears to have a number but I cannot make it out. I have attributed this lamp to have been made by Riviere Studio's based on the construction and the Grapevine overlay. This company was made up of ex Tiffany Studios workers and they copied and made similar items to Tiffany. The Grapevine Pattern was one of them. They made lamps and desk set pieces using this overlay. This lamp has been professionally re-wired with the Antique Style brown rayon cord and it still retains its original lamp plug. Weighs 8 pounds. Sturdy baluster form. Total height of the lamp base is 26 3/4 inches. Width of the base is 5 5/8 inches. Lamp is in good working condition. Pull on and off switches work easy. Some corrosion on the inside of the base of the lamp. Needs a felt liner for the base before using on any furniture surface. Top knob that holds the shade in place is missing a small lock bolt that holds it in position when a shade is mounted to the lamp. No makers marks. Nice patina. I discount for combined shipping. RARE Antique LARGE Pierced Metal TABLE LAMP & SHADE Made SYRIA Early ORNATE
Up for auction is this rare antique pierced lamp and shade- very ornate and intricately carved- marked on both the shade and the base- MADE IN SYRIA. Being offered"as is as found" It is an antique and does need some basic work. The original silk lining is hand-stitched to the shade and also lines the bottom section of the lamp. There are some tiny holes and loose threads hanging and a bit of fraying and splits in the silk at the very top. This lamp lights from both the top and the bottom, there are individual pull chains for each section. We have not plugged it in to see if it is in working order, the wire is cloth wrapped- some of the wrapping is missing, may need to be rewired. The baluster shaped lamp base has no dents. The shade has 2 dents at the very top and the bottom is a bit out of round. The final is crescent shaped. Here is one of those items that I have had stuck away for years! I think it would be absolutely beautiful cleaned up. But I’ve decided to sell it because I have finally given up on finding a tiffany style shade to put on it. Hopefully the new owner will be able to fix the shade up to its former beauty! Now for the important information: Overall Height: 21 ¾ inches from top to bottom. Height of base: 12 1/4 inches to the bottom of the harp. Length of harp: 9 ½ inches. Base: 8 inches at the widest part. 3 ½ inches diameter of the harp. The lamp is all metal and the harp does not come apart– at least for me and I did not try to force it. There is a tiny hole in the arm of the figure that can been seen if you zoom in on the second photo. There may have been a flag or staff that was originally included on the lamp. There are no other pieces missing or damaged. Overall the figure in really shape. The lamp is full of character and charm. From the patina on the brass to the rust on the base.
