And the internal amber glass shade was obviously blown into it as it is all one piece. Condition: The iron frame is quite rusty at the top. But all the fixing screws turn and are not rusted in place( though a couple of these screws couh use replacement as the heads are eroded) There is no light fitting bracket. Very close inspection shows a 3 cm crack in the glass near the top and a small chip on the bottom edge- not easy to see. Vintage Table Lamp with Amber Glass - children w/ violin, paints, papers
Working Vintage Table Lamp with Amber Glass I must confess to knowing very little about this lamp other than it was ALWAYS in my grandmother's house(and i'm in my. Um. 50's) I believe it dates back to at least the'40's but I just do not know. It could have been in her family for longer. From what I can tell it seems the metal was pressed and literally wrapped which accounts for the bit of separation I can see going down the base. It is not a drastic separation and the lamp has been that way for years so I do not see it as a structural issue by any means. As for the metal I think brass or a brass finish but it is rather rough by nature and as it is old the metal needs a good cleaning unless you like the aged patina. On the base there are pictured chubby children with a violin. Painter pallet, and a scroll in their hands. ... moreOn the very base there is a man's face. I'm guessing a teacher reference of some sort. There is no information what so ever except for what looks to be PAT PEN- this was under the felt bottom which I removed. I do show a pic w/ the felt and the next with out so please do knowTHE FELT IS NOW GONE. Some of the metal around the bottom of the base is all corroded. It almost looks as if some of the metal was roughly removed when replacing the cord. The cord"style" does not look to be original as it is more modern than the lamp its self. Lamp full stands 33" tall. Broken down: the glass is about 6" tall. The base to the glass is 10" tall and the base is 7" wide. The top bit is a wee bit bent from years of use. The shade is 12" tall. I do have this lamp pictured with the shade my grandmother had on it but I would get another as it is a bit banged up and not of the quality of the lamp its self.

Six candle style lights and a brass trim around the large amber shade. It is about 15" from the top of shade to bottom of light, then about 14" across the globe and also has a 13" chain. This lamp is just stunning and then when you turn it on it is really beautiful. The edge of the globe/ shade is trimmed with a brass scalloped edge. We are pleased to offer for auction: A Lovely Victorian or Edwardian era Elegant Hand Painted Amber Glass Crystal Hanging Parlour Lamp The two Glass Lamp Shades each have a lovely Floral Pattern Design Hand Painted in white paint on the outside of the glass. All the way around each shade. The Chain. Wiring and Metal frame are all in very good condition! There is a very light hint of rust forming in the chamber where the bulb sits. This could be easily resolved with a little Steel Wool and some Oil. There is a small chip(3/8" wide) on the bottom rim edge of the top/larger shade. This does not show when the lamp is together. Otherwise the shades are in excellent condition! This lamp was originally an oil lamp. It has been converted ... moreto electric! The lamp shades did have"Cranberry" Flashing on the insides. Cranberry is a blend of Ruby Red and Gold. The Cranberry flashing became dried, and completely washed off. The glass is Medium Amber color. We have included some photos taken with a RED Light Blub in the lamp. Without the red bulb the lamp emits a soft Amber color. The lamp is overall in excellent condition. And works perfectly! It measures: Top Shade 11" wide X 9" high Bottom Shade 6 1/2" wide X 8" high Overall Height" 20" The chain and cord are approximately 110" long and are both in very good usable condition. The lamp is made from very thick glass and is tinted a mixture between cranberry at the top through amber and orange to almost no colour at the base. Dimensions; lamp stands around 16" tall to the top of the chimney. Fount is around 3" square across the foot and around 5" from base to shoulder of fount. Condition; lamp has a small nip off the corner of the square foot. As the glass is so thick, this hasn't gone through or ... moreaffected its use in any way, it doesn't really stand out or detract and looks much worse in the macro images, there are no cracks or other damage. The brass metal shade is decorated with a fancy pierced metal border and 25 strands of ruby and amber glass crystals. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a fancy ruby and amber glass crystal pull on the end of the chain. There is a gold finish on most of the lamp except for the brass shade. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. This is a 1940s or earlier vintage kerosene oil lamp in very good condition and working order. It features a sturdy unitary one-piece glass base and oil bowl. With the bowl section being transparent amber in color. The wick is intact and operates smoothly by turning the screw. The wick mechanism securely screws onto the top of the glass bowl. Amber/Carnival Glass, White Floral GWTW Hurricane Lamp
Up for auction is a beautiful vintage hurricane-style table lamp with an amber/carnival glass design decorated with white floral pattern. This parlor lamp has a frosted white chimney and white insert in the lower globe. The top globe has a pretty fluted top edge. An almost identical lamp sold on ebay a few weeks ago for over $130. The lamp measures approx. 26" tall to the top of the chimney. The larger top globe is about 12" in diameter by 9" high The lamp has a night light in the base. The switch will turn on the top light. Antique Slag Glass Hanging Lamp Shade Tulip Style Amber Textured Glass This is a beautiful shade with all its glass intact. In wonderfully sound condition and is done in a“Tulip” Style with 7 panels. It measures 11 3/4” tall– has a 16” diameter at the bottom– and has an 8” diameter at the top– at this size this may even work as a table lamp shade. The trim has a“Floral” motif and appears to be metal– I think the balance of the material surrounding or holding the glass is brass. If you examine the photos closely you will notice the inside of the glass is textured and the outside is smooth. I will include insurance in the shipping quote to protect your investment. Offering this antique/vintage blown glass Victorian Hurricane Oil Lamp Chimney Globe with gold bands and white flower transfers(I believe) In very good condition with no damage and little. If any, wear. Any dull areas are smudges from handling. Measures 10" tall by approx. 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest. The fitter end measures 3" in diameter. The top opening is 2 1/16" in diameter. The color is a rootbeer amber with a trace of an amethyst- cranberry color. That's the best I can describe it. The purple-amber color is slightly lighter and more amber in these images than in real time. It definitely has a purplish hue. Weight is 7 ozs. Shipping weight approx. 2 lbs. Up for sale is an antique amber glass oil lamp that was converted long ago to a electric lamp. the glass is etched with flowers and vertical etched lines on the 6 paneled lamp. the glass section measures 9 1/4" tall at the tom metal rim that the socket is screwed into. It stands 12 1/2" tall at the edge of the top of the socket. this lamp has a screw in vintage HUBBELL Socket that is not working. It will need to be replaced or rewired. but if your buying it for a oil lamp then it is fine and all you need to do is unscrew the socket and replace it with a lamp head with wick. this lamp itself is in great condition no chips or cracks to the glass the shade is very unusual and is vintage. it has 2 tiny dings that can be scene inside the shade but do not show when displayed. the shade measures 8" tall by 10 1/2" across the ... morebottom opening. I tried to turn it on with 2 different light bulbs and it would not turn on, so the switch is bad or it needs to be rewired. it easily comes apart to work on and can be replaced with a standard socket the fitting will still work. Antique Epergne Lamp 30's 40's Amber Vase & Crystal Teardrops Vintage Art Deco
This listing is for a very unique Epergne Lamp. All original. Except for partial rewiring. Works! It's an antique and has been in my family a long time, but I don't know much about it. I believe it's from the 30's or 40's- Art Deco Period. It has the cloth original wiring inside, which is in good condition as you can see in the pictures, with some that has been rewired. It's made out of a combination of leaded glass, brass coated metal, and tin. I'm not sure if it's solid brass or brass coated(over possibly pot metal) but, it is extremely heavy. The vase is amber colored glass. The tulip leaves are tin with hanging amber crystal teardrops. Four of the teardrops are missing. And one of them is broken. The enclosure where the main light bulb is located, swings back on a hinge to open and has amber leaded glass ... moreinserts on the bottom part, and a light blue leaded glass top. This bulb contributes to illuminating the vase. The lamp also is adorned with 2 brass ladies, one on each side, holding cascading rosettes. The Lamp is approximately 14" high at the top of the vase. It is ornately decorated, yet, stunningly charming. I believe these bulbs are old. And, one of the bulbs has come out of it's threaded base. It is a really beautiful piece. OLD VINTAGE CARVED WOOD WROUGHT IRON BLOWN CAGED AMBER GLASS SPANISH TABLE LAMP
We are pleased to offer this beautiful table lamp. This older vintage. Petite table lamp has the appearance of a custom made lamp and does not look like a mass produced piece. It features a carved wood base and fixed shade. Scrolled, wrought iron is also abundant. The lamp also has the original, blown glass, globe shade sits inside the fixed shade. It fits over the light bulb and rests in a custom cradle. The glass shade is quite nice. The frame is a caged design and the amber glass has been blown into the frame. The surface of the glass is purposefully uneven and unpolished. It has a very rough texture and is somewhat sharp to the touch in areas. The fixed lamp shade has vertical wood panels with wrought iron in between the wood. The wood(I think it is pine) features a notched pattern. It is finished in a medium to dark brown stain. The ... morelamp is in good condition. It has not been refinished so it does have a beautifully aged patina and an aged character. The glass shade is good. The section of the glass that fits into the permanent collar/fitter section of the caged iron does have a section that is uneven and looks chunked. It appears as if it occurred when the glass was blown, during the finishing process. It is not visible as it is hidden by the iron collar. It does not affect the fit or the function of the shade. The wiring is vintage but is in working condition. The lamp has an on/off switch near the base. The lamp measures 18.75" tall. The base is 10.25" in diameter. The wood and iron fixed shade is 10" long. It has a top diameter of 8" and a bottom diameter of 11" The glass globe shade is 6.75" tall. Antique Double Arm Candelabra We are offering a beautiful candelabra with prisms in various shades of amber and amethyst. Very unique and very pretty. It has two arms each containing 12 prisms. The light sits in the center of each and looks like a candle with a swirled amber light bulb(both bulbs included) The center of the lamp has eight longer teardrop prisms and a center sphere with a rosette. Since this is such an old lamp. You may find a couple of fleabites on the prisms which is consistent with age. The lamp is either bronze or brass, I'm not sure. It is in excellent working condition with age appropriate wear. The switch is on the back of the base as shown in photo#10. The cord appears to be original and has been taped, please see photo#11.
