For your consideration is this vintage brass or copper desk lamp. In original dark finish. The 1930's lamp features an articulating arm as well as a telescoping option. The lamp stands on a weighted 5" diameter base and has a 20" reach. The tube shade has a Leviton socket which accepts standard size bulbs(bulbs not included) The cord is old but still pliable, with no cuts and includes an old two prong plug. J.B.X. on piece which extends out to burner. Unusual design. Stands 16 3/8" tall. Very good condition. There appears to be 2 repair as shown one where teh burner extension piece attaches to tank and the back of the tank. The back of tank repair appears to have a small hole in the repair. Finger loop at top appears to be misshapen but may just be crudely designed. Screw-on tank cap moves freely as do height adjustment lever and wick adjustment. No wick. ANTIQUE Cast Iron Base Adjustable Desk Lamp Early Lighting - Switch Says BRYANT
Up for bid is this antique desk lamp. This was found at an estate sale and I am not a collector nor am I versed in this subject so I am going to describe the item the best I can. The base is ornate. The neck of it adjusts. The switch says"Bryant" The"head" of it is loose from the neck. The cord seems VERY old with a lot of wear- so much that we are not risking plugging it in. Bronze/Brass adjustable desk lamp with Rubina art glass shade
Early electric lamp with wonderful dark"greenish" black patina on a bronze/brass? body. The lamp is adjustable up and down and can rotate 360 degrees. The base is weighted with a cast iron insert.And is very stable. The shade is rubina art glass shading from clear to cranberry. The lamp has been rewired at some point with age appropriate cord but still retains the original socket, and works well. Total height is 20 1/2" and the base is 6" in diameter. Robert Faries started making lamps and other accessories in Decatur. Illinois back in 1894 and continued until 1940's. This lamp has 2 adjustable arms with original brass wing nuts and screws. This lamp stands appx 15" tall to the 1st arm adjustment and another 10" to the tip of the clam shell shade. The 2 arms are brass tubes with wooden rollers in between the clamps for the wiring to roll over on. The base is very heavy and has a cast iron inner piece and covered with the brass you see where the FARIES name is stamped. The shade is not likely original to the base lamp but is vintage. Antique Metal Adjustable Clip On Bed Headboard Desk Bench Lamp Light
This listing is for an antique metal. Adjustable clip-on lamp. I don't see a maker's mark. It measures about 7.25" high, and the shade is 4.25" front to back and 4" across the opening. The lamp has a twist switch. It has a clamp that screws down to tighten it the the headboard or table. There is a piece of felt in the clamp to protect the clamped surface. The wires in the shade are cloth covered, but the cord it not, so the lamp must have been re-wired at some time. The screw on the back of the shade is rusty, and the clamp screw has surface rust. We did test the lamp, and it does work. The clamp also works properly. Shipping is based on 4lbs, packed weight.

MID CENTURY REGENCY ROOM DIVIDER SHELF 2 ADJUSTABLE ARM LAMP BLOWN GLASS SHADES
We are pleased to offer this gorgeous. Mid Century Modern room divider, shelf and lamp unit! This fabulous unit features gilded metal construction(brass? aluminum? with a glittered finish. The unit is tall and rectangular with a vertical row of geometric circles in the center that extends from the top of the frame to the bottom for contrast. The top of the frame has a slightly"pagoda" profile appearance as it is upturned on each end. There is a side shelf tray on each side with art glass insets. The glass is beautiful. It is root beer in color with striations of gold, and some blue/gray. The glass is slightly seeded. The divider features two hanging lamps with original brass diffusers and blown glass shades. The lamp arms are different heights for added interest. The shades are delicate and fine(not thick or heavy) They are smooth ... moreon their exterior with a swirled interior. The shades are clear glass with a very soft gold to the swirled pattern. The glass does have a very large pontil mark on one shade and a smaller pontil mark on the other. The lamps have adjustment screws on each arm so the shades will lock in place at different angles. The shades are held in place with the large brass diffusers. The lamp has an on/off switch on the bottom of the room divider frame. The lamp operates with regular 60 watt bulbs(one per each arm) The bottom of the frame is raised with legs on each side. There are no manufacturer's marks or stickers but the lamp is quite nicely constructed and was a"higher end" lamp in its day(c1960s) It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age. There is some slight wear to the finish but only in a couple of areas and nothing distracting. The wiring is original but the lamp is working perfectly. The glass shelves are very good. Description" I would call this the Tiffany of industrial art lamps in that it projects elegance and class with an early Classic Edison electrical appeal. The epitome of if Tesla met Tiffany if you will. It stands 18 inches tall and the shade is 13 inches in diameter. This one and only lamp is one of my favorites and came together with great struggle but in the end rather serendipitously. As you can see I designed this one very mechanically so that the shade can be moved a couple inches up and down to hide or display the bulbs. And tilt back as to be used as sort of a spotlight in that it can direct the light forward without any beaming. It is indeed very interactive and yet with no useless parts. It has a variety of solid materials starting with the cast iron base to the aluminum shade. It has solid brass and solid metal fittings and ... morecast iron most with it's original black enamel paint. The sockets are early higher end solid brass made by Bryant. All authentic vintage materials were used except for some of the heavy duty electrical cord and the two bulbs. All electrical parts are UL listed quality from back when UL meant integrity and safety. Industrial Metal Flexible Adjustable Drafting Lamp Light with Clamp-very cool!
Drafting Task Lamp with clamp: this lamp is in great working order and it comes with its screw on base attachment. You can attach the lamp to an edge up to 2 ¾” thick. The lamp has adjustable height and direction and it is made mostly of metal apart from the plastic knob at the center of the shade which is used as the on/off switch. The lamp can use up to a 100 watt light bulb. There is some wear throughout. But it is in great vintage condition. Please note-you are bidding on the lamp with the ivory colored on/off switch. Antique PIANO LAMP - Tall Adjustable Height
Not really sure exactly how old this is- but it is old- at least 90 or so years. It is adjustable with a threaded locking key to keep it up. It was originally an oil font with burner& wick. Someone along the way electrified it and sprayed the whole thing gold. I was going to strip off the gold paint and convert it back to oil. But essentially that's why I'm trying to sell it- not enough hours in the day. The Font has to be secured& lamp re-wired, but other than that it's pretty nice. It unfortunately is yet another project; for which I simply no longer have time. BTW- it would make a nice planter- replace the font with a potted plant that drapes down- Very nice! No welding that I can see after careful inspection. Prices vary wildly. I've seen them go for $100 or $2000; depending on who wants it and how complete it ... moreis. One being the brass fitting at the end(ready for another shaft and knuckle coupler! and the other at the steel joint near the socket. The shade is clearly marked"Hubbell" Good original condition. Vintage Antique Industrial Machine Age Lamp Adjustable Brass Desk Piano Light
For your consideration is an antique piano lamp with a heavy slate base. The base is 6" square and the lamp is 10" wide and adjust to a total height of 17" The vintage paddle switch socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb is included) The lamp has cloth covered wiring and an old fashioned two prong plugs. The lamp has a loose arm on one side of the shade and therefore doesn't adjust properly. When you move it you have to reset the shade position.a little goofy but I have priced it accordingly.
