Antique Vintage Oil Lamp And 2 Frosted Glass Shades
NO RESERVE AUCTION for antique green glass oil lamp and a pair of stunning shades. These are not matched item- the lamp likely had a regular glass oil lamp shade on it. The 2 shades are pink and powder-blue. With very minor chips to the color at the bottom edge of the pink one, and a spot of black'smudge' on the bottom of the blue one. Not sure what the black is(tar maybe) but have not attempted to clean it off in case I damaged the shade. They have matching beautiful raised patterns on the surface of a vine with berries and leaves. The lamp is about 11inch tall. The shades are approx. 6.5 inch diameter and 8.5 inch tall. The glass shades could be adapted and used on a modern light fitting. Enjoy!

Up for auction is a Vintage Antique Art Nouveau Set of Four Frosted Pressed Glass Lamp Shades Globes. Rare! Scarce! Hard to Find! Pressed Glass Three Part Mold. 4-1/2" High by 5-1/4" Across Bottom Opening. Fits any 2-1/4" Fitter Screw Hardware Mount(most common) 2-1/8" Diameter Fitter Hole. Frosted Glass with Raised Leaf Pattern Detail that Forms a Flower Shape. Protection on three of the Fitter Holes. Set of 2 Vintage Frosted Satin Glass Light Shades Globes w/Hand Painted Roses
A beautiful pair of lamp globes/shades. They stand 4" tall and measure 3" across the bottom from side to side. They have roses in three locations around each glass shade which is a frosted/satin style. I believe these are old as the glass has bubbles in it and there are even minute differences in the glass shade design so don't know if they were individually made. The one with bubbles has a little larger flare at bottom and the rose painting seems a tad smaller than the other one; the design at bottom edge is also a little different with deeper ridges on one than the other. In nice shape with no cracks. Did feel a flea bite and rough edge around the raised rim above the scalloped edge, but no one will know but you. Also there is some paint wear on the roses, but minor. Two Vintage Frosted Glass Shades for Swag Pendant Ceiling Lamps, Hollywood glam!
Here are two(2) gorgeous. Vintage frosted(white) glass shades meant to be used in hanging, pendant style swag ceiling lamps. Fixtures not included- this sale is for the glass shades only) See pictures for dimensions. Shades are in great condition. The design is meant to resemble draped fabric. Only the shades themselves are made of thick, white frosted glass. Lit up, they will be striking. Although I have no info on these shades in particular. I did find the identical design attributed to L&L(Loevsky& Loevsky) a manufacturer of many kinds of decorative glass items. I would guess them to be from the 1950s or early1960s. Mid-Century Modern era, although they could be an earlier throwback to Victorian revival looks of the 1920s and 1930s, or a later Hollywood Regency look from the 70s. They would be a great focal piece for a sleek retro ... moremodern styled room. Or an outrageously baroque throwback.

Offered here is a very fine PAIR OF ANTIQUE GAS LAMP GLASS SHADES THAT HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL BRASS FITTINGS. THESE ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE SHADES ARE 8 SIDED AND HAVE A FROSTED AND ETCHED SURFACE. The etchings are draped and dangling flowers and a larger flower design in the center of each panel. Both lamp shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The glass shade measures 8-5/8 inches wide at the widest part of the opening. 4 inches wide at the brass ring fixture, and it sits approximately 5 inches tall. It is very well made and not a reproduction or modern make. No markings that I can see and it was probably manufactured sometime around the turn of the century or before.
