It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a signed Electrolier fixture. This company made high end lighting in the 1920's and 1930's. This fixture comes with the slip shade. The glass shade is free from any chips or cracks. This lamp looks quite nice hen it is lit. The sconce has the original gold paint and it is free from any signs of rust which is nice. This slip shade sconce has the original switch on it and it is still active and working. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wires so you may want to have them replaced. The sconce measures 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and projects 5 1/4" from the wall( with the shade on) The slip for the shade is 4 5/8" at the top and curves in over 3 1/4" As you can see there is some white wall paint on the one corner. This could easily be cleaned off but we did not want to ruin any of the original gold paint so we will leave it up to you. Never Any Reserve! All questions will be answered promptly! THE ENTIRE LAMP IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION: This Beautiful Antique Cast Iron Table Lamp with Beautiful Shapely lines of TURQUOISE slag glass is virtually flawless. Rare and absolutely beautiful. Houze Glass Company, located in Marion, PA, was the manufacturer of this glass on this lamp. This lamp is a lovely example of early 20th century lighting, Made in America. The shape and lines of this lamp are very pleasing from the very ornate oval cast iron base, to the scrolled cast iron break with slag glass made to fit inside. The beautiful scrolled bridge tops it all off. Emblossed round tubing is a very rare pattern. This lamp is a very is a very striking focal point in any room. AMAZING Art Glass Antique Lamp Shade Metal Base Irridescent Quezal? Loetz? LOOK!
Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. Antique Art Deco Bronze Woman Lamp with Marble Base and Art Glass Shade
This lamp has been sitting in my grandmother's home ever since purchased in the 1930's and has sat in a niche in her stairwell for as long as I can remember. Now I inherited it. Had it rewired. The original cloth wiring was in bad shape. It has its original, very delicate glass shade which is held on by two screws(as seen in pictures) Lamp is fragile and glass is only held on by the two screws. It is in wonderful condition for its age. It was purchased in France and it is French in origin. I have yet to see another one like it. Lamp is 15" tall by 7" wide by 7" deep. Richly coloured, curved art glass shade. The eight-panelled shade is"streaky" glass in marbled shades of green. Amber, brown and white in a gilded spelter frame. The lampshade is topped with a large flower-shaped crown. The shade is held in place by a small, round, finial held in place by a threaded mount. The eight border panels are separated by 3/4" wide flat. Gilded centre bars with double raised lines ... moredown the middle. The bars are framed by a raised line on either side. These centre bars are further enhanced by five, raised, extended open rectangles on either side. The border panels along the edge of the shade feature"streaky" glass in shades of purple. Turquoise blue and white. These horizontial rectangular panels have curvilinear frames with fretwork reminiscent of a garden gazebo with leaves. The metal frames are painted with gilt, green and muted shades of brown. The lamp base consists of one long rounded. Four-panelled post that is wider at the bottom than at the top. It curves down from circular rondelle at the neck widening to another rondelle at the bottom. Antique floor bridge lamp rewired with pull chain glass shade houze art nouveau
I have other lamps listed and more on the way. This is a beautiful old lamp with some original paint but it is worn. They just don't make lamps like this anymore this is so neat. The base has a cool design the 4 corners almost look like a face in the design. It has been rewired so it is ready to use. The socket has a pull chain and the glass shade is nice again it has wear but no chips or cracks. It does have a small white spec incased in the glass this is normal in really old glass and lets you know it is old.

1920's Antique Art Deco Brass and Genuine Milk Glass Dome Lamp Shade Hand Painted Ceiling Lamp Light Shade This listing is for a very nice antique art deco shade. It dates from the 1920's. Along with the shade I am also including the brass ring. This is a very large light shade. The diameter of the large dome shade is 17" and it hangs an amazing 7 1/2" high. This is a very heavy shade as well. Suitable to be the center piece in a nice large room. Ring could make it possible to hang from the ceiling or attach to a hanging fixture. This is an absolutely stunning hand painted colonial style genuine milk glass shade. The outside of the shade has a satin finish. The large glass lamp shade does have 2 chips. One is along the edge which would not be visible behind the brass ring. The other is on a white part of the shade itself, ... moreso it would be almost impossible to see it from the floor looking at it. There are no cracks aside from the normal wear found on the fitter edge. The shade looks amazing when lit and it was hard to show in the pictures. The lamp is painted a light pink/purple hazey color, which is most likely original. I cannot say for sure if the flowers were added later. Overall condition of the shade is good for its age. Early electric lamp with wonderful dark"greenish" black patina on a bronze/brass? body. The lamp is adjustable up and down and can rotate 360 degrees. The base is weighted with a cast iron insert.And is very stable. The shade is rubina art glass shading from clear to cranberry. The lamp has been rewired at some point with age appropriate cord but still retains the original socket, and works well. Total height is 20 1/2" and the base is 6" in diameter. Stunning big Edward Miller table lamp stamped E& M Co. on the base. It measures 24 inches high and 16 inches across the widest part of the shade. It needs re wiring and has not been used for many decades. Unfortunately the shade has some losses to the detail(see picture 3) and the basket detail is missing from 3 sides(every other one) This could be restored. However I think it looks beautiful as it is. The base and the finial are stunning and the detail is excellent. It is a very stylish item. With a gentle clean and re-wiring this lamp will look exquisite in a period or quirky home. It is very heavy and I will post in the UK in a very large box by courier. The base fitting is approx 87mm diameter, external, and 78mm internal. It fits a standard 88mm'porte globe' globe carrier found on many Kosmos type lamps, also Wizard and some small Vulkan burners. will also fit the 3&1/2 inch carriers found on some smaller burners. Main body is overall etched. With a 3 x repeated pattern of raised enamelled medallions and droppers in between. The thin green lines are in a very fine paint. This petite and very interesting table or boudoir lamp features very heavy iron tole with gilded finish. The tole is wheat leaf/bunch design and is tied in the center. The leaves arc and curve to form a distinctive scrolled pattern. The lamp has a large(diameter) candlestick feature at the top center. In this section, a very large, Venetian, blown glass"gazing ball" styled shade is housed. The glass is quite exquisite with hundreds of air bubbles. The glass is golden amber in color. This is a very rare design and not too many of these are available. There are no manufacturing stickers remaining but the lamp is most likely Italian in design. The shade was directly mouth-blown in the metal setting; which shows the artistry of the piece. in addition the metal part base has spiral design and leaves decor. Adding more sophistication to the lamp. The lamp is about 29" tall and 10" wide at the opening of the shade. It has a lovely light green color with multi drops tone.
