Up for bid is this vintage cased glass lamp shade. It is in good condition. It has a ground rim and the fitter side is ground also. It has a few tiny fleabites. But not bad. It is cased glass with white glass in the middle and pink on the outside and inside. This is thick glass. This is a beautiful lampshade that can be easily converted to a hanging swag lamp. It is ornate. Nicely patinaed brass with alternating slag glass panels of brilliant red and swirled white. From what I understand, minerals were added during the process of making the glass to get those rich colors and swirl marks. I am no expert though. I will throw in the base for free if you purchase. The base is not original to the lamp. It is a heavy brassy base. Ornate and compliments the shade nicely. We have searched the internet for one like this one and we cannot find another one like it. Here we have an antique industrial lamp from the Machine Age. This lamp is both articulating and telescoping. This lamp has an interesting mount that is designed to mount that is concave and meant to a pipe. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LARGE CAST IRON BASE THAT THIS LAMP IS ON IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. I only used that as a way to attach the lamp to show you how it can be mounted and articulated. I would recommend just getting a small section of pipe and 2 wall mountable elbow joints at any hardware store and screwing them into the wall to mount this lamp to it. While this lamp can be mounted and used as shown in photo 1 it is not designed to lock into place as such and is designed to be used as shown in photos 8 and 9. I rewired this lamp with black cotton twist cloth cord and it works great. The locking of the lamp to a pipe is done with your average 3/16ths allen wrench. A gleaming pristine beauty. It measures 12"h complete, including with the glass chimney fitted in place into the brass neck. Individually each unit measures 6"h. There is only a breath of wear to the gold trace line around its corseted waist. Widest diameter is 3 1/4" at just above its base. The true raised foot of the base measures 2 1/2" dia. It is truly a stunning yet subtle little charmer having all the elements of much bigger pieces but an eye catcher even among my art glass collection. I have had this for nearly forty years and always referred to it as a piece of Moser. It is however not marked. Nor are there any markings on the brass work either. Just conjecture. The brass is clean and as long as I've had in a show case just about untarnished. Knob turns and works. Never used by me. She is a heavy little lady ... moreand so flat rate is the best way to go. A very nice lot of three antique. Circa 1920's, green over white glass desk lamp shades. The largest is marked: Emeralite. It measures 3-5/8" tall by 10-1/2" wide by 5-1/4" deep. Tiny shallow chip to white on inner edge- not visible on exterior. The next largest is marked: Made in Germany. It measures 3" tall by 8-3/4" wide by 4-1/2" deep. The holes on each end are 1/2" diameter. Teeny shallow- hardly visible- chip to back center edge. The smaller shade has a fine acid etched desgn. It is marked: Emer-lite, Czechoslovakia. It measures 2-1/2" tall by 7-7/8" wide by 3-1/4" deep. Miniscule back edge chip- hardly visible. The three shades are for one price.

Philadelphia apparently this company was operating from the early 1940s or 1950s to the 1960s. The lamp is dated but I can't see if it says 1966 or 1968 the previous owner owns an antique shop she tells me that the vaselike urn is european but it was converted to a lamp by this company that she knows it dates from the early 1940s. I know the lamp is quit beautiful it has crest like motifs they seemed they have erased with time but the gold embellished leaves and garlands are in great condition as well as the flowers. I took closeup pics so that you can see it. The lamp is huge it measures 32in to socket the harp measures 11in so it's probably ... moreabout 41 to 42in or so to the finial. Vintage Antique Milk White Hobnail Glass Brass Electric Table Lamp
Vintage 1930's antique brass table lamp with hobnail milk glass. This is a project piece. Although it works, it has definitely seen better days in its 70+ years. The base is cracked in 9 places and the bakelite strain relief screw is broken. The original milk glass shade is long gone as is the glass chimney. But the glass bowl is in perfect condition. As is the brass chimney holder and the Leviton bakelite twisty knob, so I couldn't throw it away. It was simply too cool to pitch. The lamp measures 25 ½” high from the bottom of the base to the top where the shade hooks on. The lamp is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
