Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

The overall height is 4.5" its about 10" wide. Weight 4.5 lbs. There no broken parts. However it is missing 1 wing nut. As seen in the picture. Some rough areas and chips on the edges of the glass pieces but nothing that shows from the outside and no cracks, some scratches or scuffs on the outside, the metal hides any edge damage. Antique Craftsman Mission Style Cast Iron Lamp w/ Fat Boy Paddle Switch I came across this forgotten treasure and couldn’t pass it up. While there are no actual markings other than the“fat boy” paddle switch and the socket. Both labeled“Union” The design of the lamp is characteristic of the Mission style and the American Craftsman style, made famous by Gustav Stickley around the turn of the 20 th century. I cannot verify its authenticity as such. But it definitely has the trademark appearance of these two parallel styles. Please note there are several cosmetic flaws characteristic of its age(see pictures for close-up details) paint has some chipping and various scratches; socket is slightly askew; and lamp has apparently been rewired at some point in time. 1931 Antique Cast Iron SCENES IN ACTION Lamp Italy Gondola Serenade WORKS
For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is SCENES IN ACTION LAMP dated 1931. It is the"Serenade" image of a Gondolier in Venice with 2 Lovers in the front of the boat. He serenading her with a stringed instrument. The casting is quite detailed and very nice. It measures 13" x 8 1/2" x 4" The reverse painted glass backdrop is broken so to get the full effect would suggest painting a replacement scene on a new piece of glass if you have the talent. The spinner is present consisting of a tin lid with plastic skirt underneath of it. The tin lid sits atop a pin and the whole thing rotates circularly as the light bulb heats up and provides a flowing motion to the whole scene when viewed from the front. The 8 1/2" tall frosted hurricane globe is finished with black and white pictures. 4 weather vanes inside a laurel leaf holly pattern. a horse. Ship, a rooster, a eagle. The diameter opening of the bottom of the globe is 2 15/16" The globe does have some scratches in the frosted area. No Cracks or chips. The picture show no wear. Beautiful antique/vintage pair of wrought iron. Painted gold candlestick lamps with polychrome pink painted flowers. They stand 12-5/8" high and the base measures approx. 4" square. As far as I can tell, everything is original. The finish, paper"candle" covers, wiring and sockets. Note to self that these will need to be professionally re-wired! this is a beautiful floor ashtray table lamp. i wish i had the original trays that go in the holes but i don't. the cast iron has a nickel finish and it needs to be cleaned and so does the other metal areas of this lamp. i haven't had time to do it properly. there is a brass finial at the top. I have lots of vintage lighting items listed and more added all the time. This is a great lamp with a beautiful satin glass shade and the shade has no chips or cracks it will have wear and some ring roughness that they all have. The outer shade does have the original brass ring at the top which the inner shade sticks up through. This like most of these has been electrified so you can safely use it today. Some people do convert these back to oil burning and you would have to replace a few pieces to do that but not that hard you can buy the burners and parts on ebay. This has normal wear you would expect but for being from the late 1800s is fantastic and has very cool claw feet on the base. The inner clear glass sahde may not be the original I really don't know it's just clear glass so who knows the outer shade is old you can easily ... moretell its age. Up for bid is this antique desk lamp. This was found at an estate sale and I am not a collector nor am I versed in this subject so I am going to describe the item the best I can. The base is ornate. The neck of it adjusts. The switch says"Bryant" The"head" of it is loose from the neck. The cord seems VERY old with a lot of wear- so much that we are not risking plugging it in. On the plug. The end where the prongs are appears to be missing a cap perhaps as the inside is exposed. Other than the above. Antique Dutch lamp cast iron tulip
Old Dutch cast iron lamp. Weighs approximately 8 pounds. We took this to Antique Road Show 10 years ago they said its not America but Dutch and from overseas. They put a value of $800 on it at auction. Measures approximately 16" high by 16" at the widest point. Has hand painting on it on the front and back. The back of the lamp shows wear in the paint showing through to a dark gray metal. Some other areas of the lamp are missing paint. Worn off. All around the lamp are raised designs and 4 different ones on each corner of the base. Works perfectly fine. Uses amber or clear bulbs. Extremely beautiful in the evenings with amber bulbs. There are 3 different dangling glass pieces, the teardrop with the attached ball are original to the lamp. The other teardrop without the ball on top are newer as are the grape clusters. There are no ... moremarkings that we or ARS could see. The top of the lamp has a hole but it is intentional we think there may have been another part of the lamp that fit into the hole as we cannot understand the purpose of it. Antique Art Deco Figural Elephant Cast Iron Lamp Base. Measures 9 1/8" tall to the top of the bulb holder X 8" tall to the top of the metal bulb holder. Marked on the bottom: P A. for Plume& Atwood in Thomaston Connecticut who started in business in 1871. Heavy cast base with a bronze or brass finish. Trunk up Elephant in a walking step with one foot raised. The base resembles a rock or stone ground with tinges of Red. The Elephant holds a round beaded disk in his trunk that attaches to the flame or lotus like open top. This holds an old paper covered lamp socket with faux candle drip and a Bakelite knob. The original wall plug. Which is included, but has been removed(for safety sake) is a very old rubber plug. The copper shank is included which when recorded will hold the bulb socket. Antique 1920's Green Onyx w/cast iron base double pull chain lamp
Hi. This rare green onyx lamp measures 25" to the top of the finial with a 5 1/4 octagon base, the lamp was tested and works great, both pull chains work, on the balls of the lamp the is a chip out of each one, they are very smooth and hard to see, i am not sure if they were manufactured this way or dropped, some discoloration on metal due to age, the feet to this lamp to me looks like a lions foot, any questions please feel free to email me, thanks for stopping by!

this is a rare very large antique Art Deco bronze and cast iron electric table lamp. very early. Patent applied for# E 334. it has exquisite ornate detailing. And extremely heavy. the base and shaft are made from solid cast iron with stunning detailing in high relief. it has a very long solid shaft with intricate finishing pieces. it has two wonderfully swirled bronze arms. Each holding a single generic size bulb, with dripping candle socket covers. the shade is handmade from real shell and has a nice gold gilt skeleton, it is a very nice shape for this style shade. Very well made. the very large solid cast iron finial is absolutely gorgeous with nice cut out detailing. it works great and measures 31 3/4 inches tall by 15 inches wide. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Green Stained Slag Glass Angel Cherub Table Lamp
You are bidding on a Vintage Table Lamp. I can find no maker's mark on the lamp itself. There was some information on the old socket. But I think it was just the socket maker, and it has since been replaced with a new one. This lamp is about 22 inches tall with the shade on it. The base of lamp has a square that is about 7.5 x 7.5 inches. The shade is very heavy. It is made of a green stained/slag glass that is very heavy, but light still passes through it very nicely. It measures about 12 inches in diameter and it is about 7.5 inches tall. This lamp weighs a total of just under 12 pounds. When I found this lamp, the socket did not work so I took it to a lamp shop and had the socket replaced, the cord is still the same. The lamp works now just as it should. It has slide mechanism to turn it on or off. There is a finial on the top that ... moreyou remove by screwing it off and then you have access to remove the shade. The shade support is also removeable by pinching the two sides and it comes out of the groove by design. Condition- It is pre-owned and well used. The metal parts of the base and shade have oxidation and discoloration but that definitely adds a nice patina to the piece. The inner glass is intact. There could be a few small flea bites where the glass jostles around because it is just held in place by metal prongs. The lamp works, as stated the socket is new, but the cord was left because I wanted to leave the lamp as original as possible. As far as the age of the piece, I really have no idea, my research has come up empty. It really is a beautiful lamp, and if nothing else, its definitely aesthetically pleasing to look at. Antique Wood Brass Cast Iron Carriage Lamp foyer table desk lamp
This is a beautiful antique table lamp with a heavy cast iron base with a carved wooden post and a Carriage like bevel glass(encased) shade. This shade is a metal tin painted a matte black color. There is a couple of scuffs and nicks on paint but not bad and easy to fix. The lamp is sturdy, stands up straight, and measures about 16 1/2" tall and 6" wide at base. This lamp weighs more than 4 lbs. There are scuffs and scratches on the wood post of this lamp- only from previous use and wear from age. There are straight hairline cracks in the wood post but it looks like this is how the wood is placed together, like a wainscoting design. Not sure of type of wood- could be walnut? The carriage like looking shade has beveled clear glass panes framed in metal with brass top. None of the clear glass panes are chipped or cracked. Not sure ... moreof maker- There are numbers marked on the bottom of bare cast iron base but no maker name. This lamp seems to have an original outlet cord and plug- prongs on plug are marked Academy Automatic Made in USA~ Albeit. This lamp is probably about 50 years old or older.
