Absolutely gorgeous hand painted& gilded Rosenthal Bavaria porcelain candlesticks will bring late 1800s Victorian charm and beauty to any home! Candlesticks have a white ground. With delicate white hand painted flowers and foliage, done in blues, yellows, greens, and highlighted with golden designs. The candle cups/rims are also gilded. Signed on the bottom with what appears to be a hammer, and the word Bavaria. In remarkable shape for their age! From the late 1800s. No damage anywhere that I can see. Beautiful, Delicate Hand-painted China Candlesticks - Matching pair
Offered here is a lovely pair of hand-painted china candlesticks. Age unknown, maker unknown. I've had them in my home after purchasing them at an estate sale many years ago and have truly enjoyed them. They fit in with any decor and lend such a graceful, delicate feel with the intricate hand-painted details of berries, flowers, ribbons, ornaments.all in almost pastel pinks, yellows, blues, greens, and the 2 tiny, thin green stripes around the bottom as it leads to the square base. There's a tiny design all around the very base of the square, with two detailed floral or leaf designs on each of the four sides of the base. Antique austrian porcelain hand painted candlesticks. They are 2 1/4" tall. 2 3/4" across. They are white porcelain with gold rims and details. There are pink and wine flowers around the top and sides. They are marked on the bottom underglaze in blue with a beehive and a crown with the word Wien under the mark. I have for you this evening a lovely example of French made porcelain created at the kilns of William Guerin in the late 19th to very early 20th century. The porcelain is an excellent grade and the mold design is a classic hexagonal shape. The decoration was done by a house painter years after the piece was made in the early 20th century and done in the deco style. This piece will make a lovely addition to your collection and it will also display nicely no matter the setting. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece measures 6" tall. This piece dates from the late 19th to early 20th century by the mold design and decorative elements. It is ringed with gold in three areas and also an“A” painted on one side for its original owner, Anne. This is a very lovely candle stick. Measurements: 5 ½ inches tall. Wemyss Ware Hand Painted TEAPOT with Roses Retailed by T. Goode& Co This is a antique Scottish ceramic teapot that is hand painted with pink cabbage roses. Wemyss ware dates back to 1882 in Scotland and featured the decorating talents of Karel Nekola on the pottery produced by Robert Heron and has been much sought after and collected ever since. The pot has one large rose on each side and is trimmed in dark green. Under the base is an impressed Wemyss mark and the stamp of the official dealer. T. Goode& Co. of South Audley Street, London. It stands 4.5" tall to the top of the knop and is 6.75" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. It is in very good condition with no cracks. A tiny graze to the glaze on the top of the handle, some tiny bubbles to the glaze and light crazing. This is an antique hand painted Limoges GDA candlestick candle holder. The candlestick measures 6 and 1/4 inch in diameter and is 2 and 1/2 inches high. The bottom has the GDA mark and the impression hv which I am going to assume is for Haviland. It looks like the artist signature is worked into the design to the left of finger ring. There is a faint hairline on the top of the candle well but no chips or cracks. This is a great piece for the Limoges collector and the candlestick collector! These are blanks measuring 8 1/4 in. tall, hand painted by a skillful artist and signed M.E.G. White porcelain with alternating(three) panels of yellow and pink roses with soft variations of green leaves that run vertically down the center stem of each stick. The background behind the roses and leaves is a lovely soft bluish green. The neck of each stick is painted with pink and yellow roses and soft green leaves. The top edge of the bobeche has a wonderful scalloped rococo relief heavily painted with gold gilt. The base of each stick is also scalloped with heavy gold gilt paint. They are truly exquisite and elegant. Each are marked on the underside as shown in the last photo. Pair of stunning 1880-1920 Meissen type hand painted rose candlesticks.
I have for auction a BEAUTIFUL pair of hand painted. Antique candlesticks with roses spiralling fown the length of the sticks. I say Meissen-type is because i dont recognize the mark but the quality is that of Meissen pieces. The pair measure 14" tall by 6" at the base. There is little, if any damage i could see. There is SO much detail i cannot guarantee there isnt subtle chips or scratches. I can, however, tell you i looked them over quite thoroughly and found nothing.
