Sitting in an old windsor chair(included, unsure of age) ... moreI believe she was made in Germany around the mid to late 1800s. The back of shoulders seems only to be marked with a mold number"7. though I haven't removed her sewn-on clothes to have a thorough look. She has molded, black painted hair in the"flat top" style. Her face is exquisite; sweetly blushing cheeks, and delicate painted details on face: slender arched eyebrows, lidded blue eyes, rosebud lips. I assume this is her original body- cloth torso and limbs stuffed with mohair(I believe) and limbs that were once(now only partially) kid leather. She wears several layers of undergarments-pantaloons and slip and a long printed cotton dress with lace trim. Her head is in very good condition. With only light scuffs and wear to the paint. Her body has some loose and/or open seams, and some discoloration. One leather hand is tattered, the other is completely gone. Her leather boots are pretty much gone, as is one cloth foot. Her dress is yellowed, extremely fragile and shredded in spots. She was found at an estate sale sitting in the chair, which is included in the auction. Her porcelain arms bend at the elbow and hands come almost together at her chest where you can see her fingers(but are difficult to see because of being under the dress top) and she has long shoulder length HAND PAINTED hair front and back. ALL PORCELAIN IS HAND PAINTED! The doll and dress measure 8 1/4" tall. Dress measures approximately 8" wide and 7 1/2" deep. Her bodice and head measure 4 5/8" tall partially inside her gown. Pr Vtg 19" Porcelain Figural Candelabra German 4 Arm Cupid Putti Lion Floral Paw
Offered from a local estate is a pair of figural porcelain candlesticks with. A triangular plinth base under paw feet with acanthus leaf decoration between floral plaques. Atop that is another plinth and there sits a putti figure holding a large floral garland draping over his. Knees and the plinth. The candlestick continues up in column form with leaf. Flower and reed decoration to the cup 13 1/4" tall. An ornate. Openwork 3 arm, 4 light topper sits in the cup to convert from single candle sticks to candelabras. These arms are gilt and end in griffon or lion heads with open mouths right under the candle cups and bobesches. Total height is 19 1/4" Width with tops is about 10" the bases are about 6" across. They have and impressed mark on the bases of crossed hammers that I believe is German or Austrian. One is marked 736 ... moreand one marked 737 each also has an impressed'X' or cross. Very good vintage condition with no losses or damage noted other than crazing on the base. And some gold wear throughout. This is a true pair. The elaborate candelabra measures 15 ¼ inches or 38.7 cm high. And are 9 ¼ inches or 23.5 cm at their widest. The figural candelabra feature a scalloped bottom edge with a reticulated base. And beautiful elaborate applied porcelain flowers. The standards feature full standing figures of winged cherubs with sashes tied around their waists. These standards support the three arms. Description You are bidding on this stunning Sitzendorf porcelain 5-light candelabra with goddess and putti made between 1887-1900. The sweeping arms of the removable candelabra are covered in trailing rose blossoms and the scrolling base has matching applied trailing blossoms surrounding a breathtaking goddess and putti. Painted in pale creams and gilt. Underglaze blue Sitzendorf hash, impressed numbers and a painted number 44 on the bottom. There is some expected gold wear and a nip to a petal here and there. One bobeche has a firing split as seen in the pictures. Dimensions: 23" high x 8"

In pretty nice shape as the pics show with no nicks or chips to the porcelain with minimal wear/ discoloration with the candle holding sections having soot in them from use and it comes exactly as shown being mad in 2 pieces. Fine Pair of German Porcelain Candelabra, Wine making theme, Early 20th century
Beautiful and unique pair of German porcelain figural candelabras. Early 20th century. I Purchased them at a Bonhams estate auction in 2004. Whimsical figures centering around a wine related theme. No signs of any previous repairs. Some losses throughout both candelabra's. And a hairline crack(only visible on one of the bases) Two of the candle holders are a little loose, but stable. VICTORIAN SITZENDORF CHERUBIM CANDELABRA early 20th century GERMAN PORCELAIN
Outstanding Vintage Sitzendorf Candelabra in Excellent Condition This is truly a rare and beautiful piece. The hallmark at the base of both candlesticks shows this to be a Sitzendorf from the early 1900's and the elaborate touches show Victorian Craftsmanship at its finest. Each candlestick has 2 cherubs holding a flower in each hand while 1 of the cherubs is also carrying a basket of"dimensional" flowers. As you can see in the pictures. These are also adorned with hand sculpted flowers at the base of each candelabra and on the arm of each candle holder. Please note these can be displayed 2 different ways: As a 5 arm candelabra or as a single candlestick(for those smaller spaces) Here are the measurements: 16 inches high with the 5 arms attached 11 1/2 inches high without the attachment 11 inches wide going across the arms 6 ... more1/2 inches wide at the base As a special note the cherubs measure 6 1/2 inches from base to tallest reach. Truly this is an item you do not want to miss out on. I have seen individual Sitzendorf candle holders for sale every once in a while but it is very rare to have a pair still be in tact for over 100 years. Thank you for looking and I know you will love them. Oops. I almost forgot) there is a teeny, tiny part missing from 1 of the flowers the cherub is holding in their hand.
