French Sevres Style 4 Arm Porcelain 19th c Bronze Candle Sconces The pair of French Sconces have been a part of our family for years. They were my Grandmother's and she purchased many antiques from her extensive travels. I do know these were bought at the Flee Market in France and they are beautiful. I did ponder selling these during our downsizing but finally knew I had to part with both. Will be adding later Chinese& Germany. I had to do a lot of research as I am not an antique dealer. Finally from looking at many antique online shops found similar. These are Rococo Period 1840-1860 hand forged or cast Bronze 4 arms each hand painted floral bouquets. Framed in gold gilt. Each one weighs over 6 lbs. The holders are very ornate in design and each arm holds a hard paste hand painted in"bleu celeste" or bleu-de-roi porcelain ... morecandle cup. Each cup has hand painted bouquets the same, but can be turned around to show a different hand painted flower design on the back. My pictures show both floral painted vignettes with the gold gilding around. As mentioned. Each sconce has 4 Candle Holders. One of the cups has a crack which had in the past been glued. A professional can restore this as it's a clean break. I did not see any markings as I have not tried to look inside the cups or take apart the holder. I took a picture where the candle fits as a few of the bronze fitting rings were replaced years ago. These are very beautiful and know whoever bids will find them just as lovely also. For the age. They still have bright gilt and bold color. And the flowers still stand out and add to the charm. Together these weigh over 12 lbs and will be shipped in separate boxes. They are very fragile and just want to pack with great care. These have many price ranges after researching. They can price from $1.500.00 into $9,000.00 or more. I saw a pair of lamps. Pair Antique French Bronze and Handpainted Porcelain Candlesticks
For sale from France are a pair of beautiful bronze and hand-painted porcelain candlesticks. These are genuine and not reproduction. They look like Sevres porcelain but I am not an expert on this. Most likely to be 19th century. They come from an estate clearance in central Brittany. The sconce of one candlestick has been damaged and is slightly tilted see photo 3. Otherwise the candlesticks are in good uncleaned condition. They measure 22cm(8.66 inches) high and the diameter of the base is 11cm(4.33inches) The pair weigh 1.032kg. Postage is by airmail from France. Tracked and insured. I always pack with great care using bubble wrap and double boxing.

This unmarked middle to late 1800s Sevres-style candle stick measures 9” tall and boasts very dirty gilt bronze mounts and 4” square footed base. The center knob(chipped top) is exquisitely hand painted(no transfers) with scenes of 3 hunting putti and the porcelain candle cup with gold accents is cracked and chipped. The 3” diameter porcelain insert is the base was REPLACED many years ago with a painted plaster of Paris cushion. There are no marks. Beautiful pair of Vintage French Sevres ca.1950 Gilt Bronze/Metal and Cobalt& White Handpainted Porcelain foliate 5-arm candelabras. The fine handpainted scenes of a man and woman on each piece in period dress and with music instruments and a piece of sheet music. The gold on the metal is in excellent condition and the porcelain is in excellent condition. Each candelabra is about 22" tall. 11 1/2" wide and the base is 6"x 6" There are 10 porcelain colbalt blue and white with gold accents flowers in the gold metal leaves between the arms.
