Superb Antique French Faience Dresser Set c.1880's, ff441
Offered for your personal collection is this lovely antique French faience Dresser set with a candlestick. A ring bowl and a dresser tray. These were found in the east of France. Made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. All three pieces are marked on the bottom with"FRANCE" after 1922 they had to write"Made in France" so these are very early pieces! Each piece is expertly hand painted with beautiful bouquets of flowers and green leaves. The candlestick has one side hand painted with roses and the other side with pink and yellow flowers. The candlestick measures almost 7 inches wide and stands almost 9 inches tall. The toothed ring bowl measures 4 inches wide and stands 1.5 inches tall. The dresser tray measures 6 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. All three pieces are in excellent antique condition with no chips ... moreor cracks! The candlestick looks to have had a professional restoration which is extremely hard to see. I tried to take a photo of it. It is very rare to find matching pieces like this still together! They survived two world wars and making it to America! These will look amazing on your desk or dressing table! You can turn your candlestick each day to have a different look each day. Roses one day and pink and yellow flowers the next! Add this to your private collection today or give as a special antique gift!
