Certainly a quite superb centrepiece of the kneeling female in the turquoise blue and overall gilt decoration. Mounted on the decorative stepped base with the four feet. Wooden and metal inserted bracket underneath of the said period. Decoration to the base of a garland and other. Decorative stem in the same classical style with the gilt bronze ormolu. Antique Sevres style ormolu clock& candelabra set. The clock has fabulous gilt metal detail throughout. Two love birds at the top with musical instruments and trophies. The gold finish is not as strong/bright as the photos show. Beautiful Sevres style porcelain panels. Movement is stamped A. LACOUR PARIS. Clock does work but does not keep accurate time. Seems to run very fast and jump ahead in time. There is a key& pendulum but I don't think the pendulum is the right fit but could be wrong. Clock measures about 10.75" tall by 8.5" wide. Each candelabra is about 8.5" tall by 8" wide. Overall good cosmetic condition but some minor flaws. Some gilt wear to the metal finish. The one candelabra top porcelain section has been repaired.barely noticeable unless you look closely. Not sure if the small back porcelain ... morepanel has been replaced with a metal piece. They were my Grandmother's and she purchased many antiques from her extensive travels. I do know these were bought at the Flee Market in France and they are beautiful. I did ponder selling these during our downsizing but finally knew I had to part with both. Will be adding later Chinese& Germany. I had to do a lot of research as I am not an antique dealer. Finally from looking at many antique online shops found similar. These are Rococo Period 1840-1860 hand forged or cast Bronze 4 arms each hand painted floral bouquets. Framed in gold gilt. Each one weighs over 6 lbs. The holders are very ornate in design and each arm holds a hard paste hand painted in"bleu celeste" or bleu-de-roi porcelain ... morecandle cup. Each cup has hand painted bouquets the same, but can be turned around to show a different hand painted flower design on the back. My pictures show both floral painted vignettes with the gold gilding around. As mentioned. Each sconce has 4 Candle Holders. One of the cups has a crack which had in the past been glued. A professional can restore this as it's a clean break. I did not see any markings as I have not tried to look inside the cups or take apart the holder. I took a picture where the candle fits as a few of the bronze fitting rings were replaced years ago. These are very beautiful and know whoever bids will find them just as lovely also. For the age. They still have bright gilt and bold color. And the flowers still stand out and add to the charm. Together these weigh over 12 lbs and will be shipped in separate boxes. They are very fragile and just want to pack with great care. These have many price ranges after researching. They can price from $1.500.00 into $9,000.00 or more. I saw a pair of lamps.
