Noritake "M" in wreath Nippon pair of 7.5" candle sticks beaded with roses 1910
I have for oyu this evening a very nice pair of candle sticks made by Noritake in the early twentieth century. These pieces are made of very fine quality porcelain and have been clear glazed with a high gloss finish. These pieces have a classic pillar style mold design and have been decorated with gold and porcelain beading. Both sticks have been hand pinted with gorgeous pink roses in a thick band around the top and bottom. Pieces with this much detail are very hard to find and in this condition which is excellent is becoming even more difficult with each passing year. These will make a delightful addition to your collection and will look amazing in your favorite cabinet or at table. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. Other than the one angel being repaired this set is in very good condition for the age especially. I really thought it was a unique sweet set. And know it is very old. Please enlarge to see the sweet faces and detailing of this set. There are no other chips, cracks, or breaks. Just the fine crackly lines of age I mentioned in the condition part. As well as some staining in the inside bottom of the planter. The candlesticks are 6" by 3 1/2" The planter is 9 1/2" b 4 1/2" by 4" I do not see a maker on the bottom of any of these pieces. Vintage Pair Red Cliff Ironstone White Heirloom Candle Sticks Holders 7"
Vintage signed Red Cliff Ironstone pair of white candle stick candle holders in the"heirloom" pattern. They have a round base and top. Stand 7" tall they are 4" in diameter at the base and 2 1/2" in diameter at the top. Red Cliff Ironstone was made between 1950 and 1980 in Chicago. Illinois. The company founder Fred Clifford commissioned the Hall China Co to reproduce old original English Ironstone patterns under the Red Cliff name. These were never meant to deceive and are clearly marked on the bottom as pictured. Red Cliff, though not as old as the originals they are modeled after, are now collectible pieces in their own right. This candlestick pair is in very good condition. Add it to your collection.
